“This is my first time stopping here. It’s along the NCR trail, which is fantastic for walking or riding your bike. We stopped here to use the restroom while riding our bikes and noticed the Monkton hotel. They have a little café, so we got some food and a cup of coffee.The coffee had a good flavor (not weak) and my ham sandwich on toasted sour dough was great. Cute little place with a lot of history. They also have outside seating.”

“I have lived in the Hereford Zone for over 25 years and love patronizing local business. I usually try to stop at Dough Run once a week. I love their cinnamon rolls, best around until my last one. They are a bit pricey but it would be a rather large roll. The last one I bought was a third smaller but same price. I do know there is a new owner and there are adjustments that are made but the cinnamon rolls were were just something I looked forward to when I am there. Hopefully, they will get the rolls back to the correct size. Still a great place to stop in and grab a snack and some great coffee.”

“Great carry out location for pizza and subs and other items.Parking: Plenty of free parking, adequate handicap parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Standard size front door without a touch pad for entry. Otherwise, wheelchair accessible entry. Counter for ordering is high but I have observed staff come out of the kitchen to take orders as necessary.”

“Finally figured out where this is and had a chance to visit. Pleasantly surprised. Note that as of this writing, they still have not been allowed to post signage, so it's easy to miss. Also note that you turn right at the food area to find the parking lot. I picked up a nice sour in a growler and enjoyed a couple of orders of french fries. Great space, good beer, and fun food, so don't miss it if you're in the Monkton area.”

“We stopped in here one evening to have dinner however it was absolutely packed and unfortunately all we could get was a couple of drinks and we had to move on it looked like the food was pretty good but who really knows unfortunately there are a lot of locals that pack this bar and it's very hard to get a seat we were a party of six and were unable to obtain a table.”

“There’s a few solid Indian options in Baltimore (Darbar is a local favorite, always), but we were running some errands and absolutely starving, happened to notice this restaurant had 4.8* after a couple hundred reviews and it 100% deserves every star. We sampled the Vindaloo and goat curry along with an insanely good fried fish app and got four+ meals out of it the lot. Mind blowingly good food and excellent, friendly service as well. Would highly, highly recommend!”

“Absolutely amazing. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items. I went out of my comfort zone and had the pate en croute and was pleasantly surprised. Everyone's dishes were well received.Dietary restrictions: I included a known food allergy in our group while making reservations and our waiter, Michael, made excellent suggestions and followed up with the kitchen staff to make sure there weren't any problems.”

“I visited this location of Mission BBQ today, and was greeted with wonderful service. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very kind. Larkin was especially personable and very helpful! He came by multiple times to check on our, rather large, party. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. Larkin provided 5 star service and I would highly recommend visiting!”

“I have had Jarrettsville Creamery several times! The food and ice cream are both amazing. I got married in Jarrettsville and knew that I wanted them to cater the desserts. The communication process was amazing. They were so detailed and quick to respond. We ordered ice cream, cookies, and brownies and they delivered them to the venue. Absolutely delicious! “I wanted to get my toddler a custom cake for her birthday. I found Cakes By Jason on Instagram and decided to give him a try based on other reviews. The entire experience was pleasant - from placing the initial order, working with a team member to finalize order, type, and look of cake and cupcakes to the pickup process. The cake was an absolute hit! Everyone loved it and complimented it (the buttercream icing wasn't too sweet, the cake was flavorful and moist, and the two tiers stayed in place). I'll definitely be ordering from them again in the future.”

The food (as always) was amazing, the service was great (and I had a party of 25), and the ambience was ideal (decorated festive for Christmas). I highly recommend Peerce’s both for dinner and for room rentals. The rate was fare, so I was able to tip the staff that much more for their time and energy.”

The communication was simple and transparent, his timeliness was accurate and the ease of the entire transaction made everything run smoothly.Additionally, everyone commented how good the food was! Lastly, don’t skip the galaktoboureko dessert/custard as it was a favorite.”

“I like their food. The only thing to note is they have 18% service charge included in the bill. I hadn’t realized that till recently and I had been paying 20% of what was already billed, which means I was tipping them 42% of our “meal”. I thought that was a bit sneaky as I was not informed although I shud have checked my bill before paying!! Just be aware!!!The food is great. Love their spicy ramen, tartar, calamari, curry etc. Only one time, the spicy kani Inari was bad (kani had a sour smell and it had gone bad). Other times the food had been good and my toddler loves their curry!”

“I went to Prigel for a make your own ice cream and farm tour event and it was so cute! One of the things I love most about my social circle is that we will always find something off the beaten path to do! The make your own ice cream was a fun experience where we were given a little guidance then left to our own devices, i would absolutely do it again but i'd leave out the pretzels. The farm tour wasn't much of a tour as it was someone leading us to where the cows were grazing and leaving us on our own. Afterwards we got a ice cream flight to try then wrapped up the day. Its a fun mid day activity and I plan to go back for some of the other DIY events.”

“Delicious food!!! Met up halfway with a friend and decided to come here for dinner. We both got our own personal pizza, I got cheese and she got the margherita. My cheese pizza was gone quick! It was so good.The place was small on the inside but had a lot of tables to sit at. Theres about 3 spots infront of the building next door and a parking lot around back. We went around 6 pm and it was on the light side for crowd, which suprised me.Service was just ok. Friendly enough. It wasnt that expensive too just for 2 people at a woodfire type place!I would definitely go back for the food!Parking: 3 or 4 spots in front along road and plenty in back”

“Everything about Veloccino is awesome. The food and coffee is great and the owner, Marc, is super knowledge about all things bikes. Ordered a Giant TCR and he had it ready to ride the next day, the bike has been amazing and he ran me through all the new features. He also threw in some shop bottles which are sweet. You can tell he's passionate about cycling and he fosters a great community around the cafe. Highly recommend!”

“Came in today craving a donut, never been here before. It’s so hard to find small local bakeries these days! It was a little later in the day but they still had one strawberry sprinkle donut (which is actually my favorite) waiting just for me. It was SO good. Gave me nostalgia of donuts after church in my childhood. Woman at the counter was extremely friendly and donut was only $1.25!Will definitely be back, great little place.”

“I have been coming here on Monday's for the rib special since I was a kid. These are the best ribs I have ever had, hands-down. They are tender and fall right off the bone. The food is always ready within 10 minutes of ordering and the servers are as friendly as they come.If you want the ribs, come on a Monday. You get a full rack plus a side of fries for just $15.99!I could not recommend this place more!”

“This is a wonderful little unique coffee shop. They have great breakfast foods and pastries. A selection of coffees and teas that's sure to please. It can get very crowded on weekends when the weather is nice so plan accordingly.”

“rode our motorcycle down from York PA last night for a nice small meal. Wife had the BBQ flat bread Pizza and I have a Quesadilla and a beer each. Service was spot on as we sat at the high top tables. Server (she) was amazing and we left a 40% tip. Grew up in Freeland just down the road and always stop here when we can.”
