“250828 - By the time we reached Sparks, the muffins had begun to take effect; we were low on fuel, having come off the highway, aware wet were close to ‘Empty’ in unfamiliar country. Nervously looking for a gas station, ambling along our way back to Canada after a week in the capital. Some said we were brave to visit, we never minded, soaked it all in, we were just there to check on our American cousins, see how y’all were making out in a rather turbulent time. Loved the rolling countryside and gorgeous homes in the area - hmmm…a preserve of the ‘horsie set?’ we thought. Now, even lower on fuel, we caught the sign and stopped at TFS. We surveyed the place, quirky storefront and round the back which felt surprisingly, decidedly chill. Straightaway, we struck up a conversation with a friendly physical therapist, because we’re that kind of chatty. Had a spontaneous, lovely and wide-ranging chat including the whole family. A delicious milkshake, I think a cookie, and couple washroom breaks later, our new friend sent us on our way to the Exxon down the way and a nearby turnoff to get us back en route to the north land. Felt really good to meet a kind helpful soul along the way, the kind of people we wanted to show the kids, and we somehow knew we would certainly meet on our drive into NY, PA, MD, VA, DC. Now back in the land of the silver birch, home of Lord Stanley’s sport and the ‘double-double,’ I am just reading about your late friend Rosa and how much she’d touched you all and your beloved TFS :) Nice lil place. “We just had the best experience at this restaurant. The staff were very helpful and polite sharing lots of big smiles. We got the lamb chops which I can honestly say are some of the best we’ve had at any restaurant. The chicken in the Tikka Masala was melt in your mouth tender. The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who grew up in India. He said it’s true to his memories of food from his mother land. Please give this restaurant a try. You won’t be disappointed. “Terri’s Café is wonderful! I regularly use them for catered executive lunches and dinners, and they never disappoint. The food is always fresh, homemade, and delicious. I especially appreciate that they use all white-meat chicken breast, and everything is seasoned perfectly. something for every palate.  Their delivery is always on time, which is so important when you’re coordinating an executive meal. And for the quality and generous portions, their pricing is very reasonable, which makes them an excellent value for catering.  Beyond the amazing food and service, Terri’s Café is family-owned, and the owners are genuinely lovely people. You can tell they take great pride in what they do and truly care about their customers.  I highly recommend Terri’s Café for catering or just a great meal. They are consistently reliable, delicious, reasonably priced, and a pleasure to work with!”

“I dined there for the first time tonight, and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is quaint, cozy, and perfectly decorated. The first two drinks that I got were absolutely amazing, as they were custom-made. We also tried a flight of tequila, which was also very delicious. We both got an entrée each, and got nachos and queso. It was all absolutely delicious. The waitress kept coming back to check on us and was very attentive. Thank you for a lovely evening. “The freshest sushi in the area. Their bass, salmon, yellowtail, and amaebi nigiri are my favorites. The pieces of fish are big, and the bed of rice is warm and well cooked/seasoned. They also offer to make their rolls with brown rice, which can be difficult to find. The server is attentive and the seating area is nice, although it's small, so I'd recommend coming before dinner when it is less crowded.”

“I was there last weekend in what was my first outing since having major knee surgery. I showed up on crutches and a full knee immobilization brace. Without me having to ask, the waitress offered us a table that was a little more tucked away, she asked if I needed an extra chair to rest my leg on, and even put my crutches aside for me. Outstanding customer service and human kindness. The food was fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.”

“Randomly driving through Timonium on our way back to PA we were looking for food. Fuentes showed with good reviews and we stopped. Now once a month (sometimes more) we drive an hour back to Timonium for amazing food. We’ve even brought family down here. The italian food is plentiful and tasty but the fish and shrimp tacos are our favorite. A lovely couple owns the place and they cook all the food and they’ve always been kind to us. We hope to come here for many more years.”

“The food was amazing, especially the Sushi Q appetizer. My daughter is a chef, so she is very particular when it comes to the taste and appearance of food, and SHE is the one who recommended this place to me. That alone said a lot to me. The atmosphere was great, very calm and quiet. The serving staff seemed a little stiff, but it didn't bother me too much because my daughter and I both like being left alone while I eat. They also gave each of us a small complimentary slice of cake when they brought the check.”
