I couldn’t think of a more fitting cafe for Ladew than this. Amazing quality food, good price, and an unbeatable atmosphere. The staff is great too. Plan on eating here while at Ladew. It’s GREAT.

Food is great! - But if you are going to require customers who pay almost $25.00 for two plates of food to carry their food and plates back into the cafe, you should have a sign inside that explains that. I've seen elderly folks and parents struggle with kids/ babies and wind almost dropping things etc. trying to get their plates etc back into the cafe. I was one of those parents sitting outside for the first time and almost dropped two plates, struggling with kids and bags etc - and after wait staff looked directly at me as I was standing and done with my meal and absolutely ignored me. If you had a sign inside explaining that no staff will help customers bring in their plates etc back into the cafe, then maybe customers could then decide on whether sitting outside is a good option for them or not. Food is delivered outside by staff, but not brought back in. Should we start leaving our plates on the table and leave?

Wonderful food. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Vegetarian and Gluten-free options are available too. Reasonable prices, friendly staff. Very clean

My husband and I attended the Twilight Tuesdays dinner event; food and service were both very good. We ordered a berry salad, crab soup, filet mignon and scallops; everything was fresh and flavorful. My only issue is that the menu is SO limited and they run out of things quickly. By the time we sat down at 6:15 they had run out of roasted chicken, and there was one scallop dish left so my husband made sure to order that right away. There were only 2 entrees left to choose from after that. If you're interested in this event I would recommend trying to get a reservation for the earlier seating so you have more to choose from.

The old stables transformed into a dining space created a charming and beautiful atmosphere for dining! We also enjoyed a drink outside on the patio which was lovely. The food was great and the service was exceptional by Josh! And, the best part was walking the gardens after our meal. Such a perfect date night!

We enjoyed our visit to Ladew Gardens and the cafe. The food was very good overall. We did not think the flat bread was up to par, doughy, it just wasn't what we expected from a bread basket. The filet was requested medium rare and came out rare, it wasn't a huge problem because the person who ordered it can eat rare. The berry salad was excellent, the tomato soup was excellent, the shrimp and grits were delicious according to the person who ordered that dish. My chicken was good but a little tough, the potatoes were spot on as was the broccolini. Sauces were all great. One thing I would like the cafe to do is train the waitstaff not to try to take plates that clearly have food left on them. This happened twice and shouldn't have happened at all. That being said the wait staff were young and eager to do a good job. We enjoyed our time there and would recommend it but feel we should be fair when leaving a review.

Situated in the old farmhouse this cafe was adorable and the food was delicious! The cakes looked exquisite and they appeared popular. The Ladew chicken sandwich was excellent on a gf bun. The chicken was freshly sliced and the cranberry vinegar dressing was slightly sweet but paired well with the greens. The homemade chips were not gluten free so I was given a bag of Ms Vickies kettle chips. Chocolate chip cookie was very soft and was quickly gone! Lots of indoor seating and outdoor on their patio surrounded by an old, rustic stone wall creeping with vines and flowers. Only suggestion would be to include gf desserts.

The flatbread with meat was lovely and the mushroom fettucine was fabulous! We especially like the home made breads served prior to the meal - last night was cornbread with a lovely honey butter. This really is a neighborhood gem located in beautiful gardens! Staff is friendly and helpful in menu selections.
All of the food was made from scratch and simply amazing. The menu while limited covered all the bases from start to finish. Our server Josh was attentive and very personable. We decided dinner was so good to buy the membership to the gardens as we can't wait to try next months menu. This was the perfect date night.

Very unexpected experience. Really great food, generous portions. Very fresh and flavorful. Was with family. Had the green salad which was large enough to be a meal. We split that and each also had the chicken sandwich. If you're there during meal time definitely give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

We've been to the Café on several occasions now on Tuesday evenings. On the latest visit, we had reserved courtyard (outdoor) seating, and fortunately they were able to accommodate us inside as it was raining. The food is always great here, but not inexpensive. The service is super and attentive, and all of the staff seem deeply dedicated to making this a great experience for the diners. Will go again, likely several times this season.

This was our first time having dinner at the cafe and it was delightful! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, it was so delicious! The presentation was beautiful. We had the opportunity to meet the Chefs and they were so humble even though their creations were sumptuous and beautiful.?
