I ordered pork lo mein, fried dumplings and shrimp toast. Let me tell you, all my food was totally on point! Their lo mein now seems to have a bit more healthy vegetables in it. The meat inside the dumplings was tasty and the dipping sauce woo hoo! TASTY.. Prices are reasonable you won't be disappointed.

We have been going to Big Chef for 20 years. It is by far the best chinese in Mount Airy, ( I know that is a low bar but...beggers can't be chosers) and very well run and efficient.

I visit this place a lot since I work in the area. I like how their service is always excellent and they keep the place well organized consistently. Prices are reasonable and they serve sizeable portions.

Went to pick up my order, saw chef scooping up rice with hands to put in box and cashier taking credit cards from other customers then putting egg rolls in bag all without gloves. Gross!!!

We placed an order and went to pick it up. They couldn't find our order. They had given it to someone else who didn't realize it wasn't theirs till they opened the food and saw. The people who had the wrong order of course brought it back. Big chef then tried to pass our order to us after it was opened by someone else. Were in the middle of a global pandemic and barely get out anymore. I dont know the people who had taken our food or if they had been staying safe from the pandemic. I cant take this food and big chef couldnt seem to careless. They're always rude but the food was decent. This was the last straw for me.

We have been going to this restaurant for 15+ years. The food quality has consistently declined. This trip will be our last trip. I asked for extra fortune cookies (which I offered to pay for) and she said I could not buy any.

We drive 20 to 25 minutes to get carry out food from Big Chef and we have never been disappointed. If you want "fancy", this is not your place. But, if you want a great selection, very good food, fair prices, and nice size potions, then Big Chef is the place for you.

Good food, always on time pick up
my shrimp noodles smelled like burnt plastic and tasted like burnt plastic. this is the first bad experience i’ve had tho so i’ll give it 3 stars
This spot clearly knows how to serve their clients. Constantly with a very nice demeanor. The food is fairly priced, always fresh and neat.
