This is the third year we’ve gotten crabs from Cole’s. Every year the crabs are awesome. Some places might be a hair cheaper, but the quality is worth every penny.

I’ve been to Coles a total of 5 times. Out of about 42 crabs,i’ve only had 2 bad ones that were replaced without incident. The crabs are good and meaty. The customer service is always pleasant. I always order jumbos. The problem is that when I order jumbos,every crab is not jumbo. It’s mixed in with xxls or larges. This last time,when I got home and opened the bag,there were 2 real jumbos,2xxls,1 large,and one medium missing a claw. Crabs are good,but I can’t keep getting disappointed with not getting what I paid for. Unfortunately l,alot of my favorite crab places are adapting this trend now. I’m a blue crab connoisseur,I know my crabs. Guess i’ll have to start checking the bag now. Hopefully this can be addressed to keep me a loyal frequent customer.

I'm always cautious of buying steamed crabs because I grew up on the Chesapeake and have pretty high standards. Cole's met my standards and then some.Placed my order for a dozen large male crabs on Thursday. Got there on Friday at my scheduled time and they were just putting them in the doubled bag. I paid cash because I can't see a small, local business taking the credit card hit.Crabs were delicious! Spice was just right, all the crabs were pretty heavy for large ones, and none were water logged. Perfect!Don't let the prices scare you. Crabs are high priced everywhere, though I considered $85 a dozen for large males good. Definitely recommend Cole's.

Third time coming here to get crabs. They are the best. Father’s Day 2023 had to wing it as they were not preordering. Arrived and ordered only a dozen jumbo. Monsters and had them steamed. SO good. Thanks
