I visited this winery and it was an awesome place off the beaten path. They had live music playing and a warm cozy atmosphere. The wine hostess Hannah was awesome and knew her wines. I ended up buying a bottle and two flight will be back again.
Ve4y nice winery. Neil was supper nice and explained everything very well.
Small local winery with a variety of good wines. Highly recommend to stop in.
This place is remote and very mom and pop or vintage vibes. If you like secluded and a calmer vibe this place is for you. I feel like it appeals to an older crowd. The wine is good, nice selection and affordable. The staff is very nice.
Good wine. Good dogs. What's not to love?
I purchased Elks Run dessert wine, Sweet Katherine at a local store in Maryland. I purchased two bottles, and these two bottles of the same wine could not have tasted more difference. I have purchased this wine for years, it use to be my favorite and I know how it usually tastes. I stopped purchasing it for a while because the bottles didn't seem consistent. However, I wanted to give it another try. Shame on me! The two recent bottles where the complete opposite of each other. One was deliciously sweet and just what I remember this wine being. The other was so tart it locked my jaws. I couldn't enjoy it. I am not sure why this is but it is so disappointing to not get consistent bottles. I'm not sure if its better if you purchase the wine at the actual vineyard but I have seen quite a few reviews with similar experiences on significant inconsistencies in taste. Please do better quality control! When this wine is good it's amazing. However, you never know when you buy it if you going to get a good bottle or a horribly bad one. Also, at almost $20 a bottle that is not cheap to purchase something you have to throw out.
Bad wine and overpriced tastings.
Took my wife for Taylor swift night. They didn’t play Taylor’s version according to her. The mosquitoes just ate us up the entire time. Love the dog. So many kids running around unsupervised, but a very safe environment to do so. Lots of dry wines, sangria was great. Bartender was incredibly kind.
Nice variety of wines. Sorry but, I forgot to get his name, but the guy beithe counter was very informative and grey to talk to. Will revisit when in the area. Steve from Cincinnati
Elk Run is a great place to visit, and if you’re interested in commercial winemaking, a tour from Jack himself will be one of the most transparent and thorough you will get at any estate on the planet (not an exaggeration - experience for yourself); he’s not showing off the chateau (although there are some interesting stories), you’re seeing in candid detail how the product is created, and yes the canine escort is a warm plus. The whites here are a much better value than down the road (and that is no knock on the quality 5 minutes away; their white blends are delights).

Wonderful place! Enjoyed their Liberty Tavern Chardonnay with cheese and crackers. My lovely wife loaded up with a lot more wine to take home too. Sat outside on an umbrella-covered table overlooking the grapes in the vinyard. Nice drive getting there as well. Hard to beat!
Amazing wine, great people!
Harry Potter Breakfast was a let down. Disorganized, tables were dirty, long line with little food. Didn’t seem very thematic.
Came for Trunk or Treat. About 12 vendors and lots of parents and their kids in costume. Lots of fun! Here's the unofficial mascot, Leo.
Hp theme night didn't have as much to do as I thought it would. Also super awkward moment when the employers dog had a Chicken with bone in and he was complaining about why we cared that the dog was eating a chicken bone. Since and I quote, it's my dog. If it chokes it chokes .
