I was greeted by a warm friendly face and sat right away! To top it off my waitress was the sweetest…my lemon aid tasted funny and she got me a new drink free of charge. I will defiantly visit again

We tend to stop here on our way home from Baltimore and did so today. We’ve always had a good experience but today was the best and deserves a mention. Our server was Chris and he was AMAZING! His personality, his service, even his body language screams he is meant for management! I had the Sterlion steak tips and they were beyond delicious!

After waiting a long time for our food, Part of the food was burnt and part was cold. My husband asked 3x for hot sauces and it was never brought to the table. Service was extremely slow, we would need something but no one was around for 5-10 mins so couldn’t get any help. Took over 15 minutes to get a box and the check.

We stopped at this location for breakfast on the way back to PA from Ocean City. There was a 5-10 minute wait but once we were taken to our table, we noticed most of the restaurant was empty. We placed our orders at 9:21. There were only 4 of us. Approximately 15 minutes later, our waitress apologized for the wait and said there were some people training in the kitchen. Another 15 minutes go by and we were told our food was being plated and it would be out shortly. Ten minutes later, our waitress comes to the table and says there was an issue printing our order at the machine in the back and it was never received by the kitchen. We had been waiting over 40 minutes for our food at this point and had been there well over an hour. She said she could put the order in again and it would be made first. We received our food at 10:21 - one hour after we first ordered. I spoke to the manager about what could be done and explained what the waitress told us about our food being plated when it actually wasn’t. When the manager confronted the waitress by the back kitchen doors, we could hear the waitress say (very loudly) “I DIDN'T SAY THAT.” The manager comped us 25% but this visit delayed our drive home by over 2 hours as we now have to sit in the traffic we could have missed an hour earlier.

The food was good, but what really did it for me was how amazing our waitress was. Very funny and entertaining.
Fast and friendly! If you have a gluten allergy the GF menu items are clearly marked but make a note for scrambled eggs. They have a little batter in them for fluffiness.

The man led us to a booth where the seat was ripped open at least 4 inches wide from front to back. Now who wants to slide across that and who knows what germs and whatever is caught up in there. What does it take for them to replace that? It didn’t just happen. My mother told him we’d like to sit somewhere else. Then the waitress comes along calling us “dear” or “honey” -that is rude and unprofessional. She didn’t get drinks right away. She hopped from table to table and then went off to take care of things so we waited more than we should’ve. My meal was supposed to have 2 pieces of bacon, had only one. I returned the crepes-they were greyish and a weird looking consistency. It wasn’t an inviting place.

I can’t believe I had such great service at an IHOP. Everyone was friendly, service was prompt and the teamwork between respective servers was some of the best I have experienced lately. Food was excellent: bacon, pancakes, sausage all delicious.
