Just left this store. Apparently their "system is down" so you can only pay by credit or cash, no debit. Which is fine, things happen but they need to make that clear when entering the store or at least possibly put signs up at the registers. Having to wait in line, go through the checkout process, and then after the debit card is not authorized have the cashier rudely state "you can't use debit" and when asking why she THEN states the system is down. I suggested that they need to have that information posted somewhere so that people are aware coming into the store. Did she even bother to acknowledge my suggestion? Nope didn't even look at me. Again, things happen but it's how they are handled that matters most.

9:00 pm on a Friday night with a cart full of groceries, cashier ringing someone up says she is closed. Who else is open? Self checkout. 8 people checking themselves out. How about waiting until 10 to close all lanes? Or a self service discount?

Check the dates and prices. This store routinely re-stocks with; out of date or shortly expiring products and their multi-pack sale deals, are consistently higher priced per unit, compared to other neighborhood markets.

Thanks to the department that provides curbside pick up for internet shoppers, I have been able to stay out of the store . Everyone has been so kind. This store is not the closest to me but it is the better option.

Wow. This Safeway consistently has the RUDEST employees ever. What an unpleasant experience shopping here in my neighborhood store has become.

I love safeway! My family does most of our shopping there. Here's the thing. They are currently renovating and moving things around. It's very confusing. There are razors and feminine products in the bread section even though there are still feminine products where the health and beauty section is? There are a multitude of empty shelves and remaining signs of old products even though they have been moved to a different place. It's all very confusing right now.
