A very pleasant surprise! Stopped here on a whim, looked like a typical TexMex place, but everything we ate had a unique flavors that we had never experienced before in TexMex.
It was “typical” enough to scratch that TexMex itch, but the salsa, guac, beans, and veggies all had a slight twist in the flavor profile.
Everything was light and fresh, service was fast, friendly, and personable. It’s kind of halfway between your usual TexMex and a fancy Mexican Restaurant.
We will be talking about this one for a long time!

The rice was old and the refried beans were runny. I knew it was old food because it came out way too fast. The steak nachos were expensive for the amount you get. The waitress was very loud, she actually bothered my ears.

Love a strip mall Mexican restaurant. Food drinks and service were all good and this place feels like a consistent establishment. I ordered the nachos, I appreciate how they weren’t piled high and I feel like each individual nacho was able to shine. I wish they had a frozen margarita machine because the blended ones are always chunky with ice, but otherwise no complaints and will go back when in need of tacos.

Wow what a terrible experience. Although she wasn’t our waiter. Whoever Megan is needs to be fired. She was extremely rude to the customers next to us. During our meal WHILE we had old friends with us. We were so uncomfortable and it was so embarrassing that we brought our friends there..we left. She is insane.

We had worse server. She had an attitude and would be on her phone. I had to raise my hand for a while to get drink refills. She didn't refill my mother drink as my mom had to track her down when my hand raising didn't work. Justin picked up the pieces and got us taken care of. We tipped him and told him it was for him. She heard us and said tip is all together so she will still receive it. Honestly, Justin waited his tables and pick up the slack for hers. I hope the restaurant sees some of their employees don't care to work and play on their phones while others picked up the slack for them. Praise to Justin as we were not happy with our waitress
This place closes their kitchen well ahead of closing time. Sometimes closes early. Food is good when you can get some.

La Siempre is conveniently located in a shopping center off a main road in Mt. Airy and is so cozy and well themed inside you won't feel like you're in a shopping center. The food was very good and the prices were moderate but enough to make you know you're in a nice restaurant that could stand on its own in a bigger location. There were specials for the day including wonderful sounding Margaritas that I resisted because it was a working lunch meeting. I had the steak fajitas and my friend had the fajita bowl. The steak was delicious and the portion was more than enough to fill all the fajita's in the container. And of course it arrived on a steaming cast iron plate.

The food sucks, it was cold and tasteless but, more than anything the customer service was terrible. My sister and her boss use to come in 3 times a week. The food isn’t worth the rude employees. I work in customer service. I get it. Customers can be rude but how we handle it shows how you’re people were trained and or the things you put up with there. Maybe y’all need more training and better food, maybe warm food. Just a thought.
