I love Lighthouse seafood. The Crab imperial is really.
Now this place is The Place for fresh seafood. I was definitely upset about the price of $70.00 for a pound of Maryland Lump. I'm sure you could find the same somewhere else. Ya gotta look hard though
Very disappointed got a 1/2 bu. of #1 and got mostly claws and crabs not up to par and where empty also a few where rotten and couldn’t be eaten at all. This is the second time this has happened I will not be returning here, we thought it was just the one time and just blew it off but the second time has done it for us
Always knowledgeable &helpful. Amazing fresh fish & seafood options
Seafood is always fresh!
We were driving through town and stopped to see what this place was. I spoke to locals upon entering and they highly recommended some items and spoke highly of the establishment, products and staff. The Amazing staff proved to be super helpful and knowledgeable! We ended up buying lots of fresh seafood to take home to cook in addition to some of the recommended favorite items and we also had several items cooked to try before we continued our long drive. Everything was delicious! We will be driving through town again next week and already plan to stop again to get more. I highly recommend the Lighthouse!
We stopped in for the first time today and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We sampled the crab gumbo ( soup of the day) it was delicious so we took some home for our son who thought it was exceptional. The hot bar had a nice selection. We live about a half hour from there and the food stayed warm and didn’t lose its crispy texture from being fried. The seasoning on the fried clams, beer battered haddock and cod was delicious. Can’t wait to stop by again!
great food.great service, great prices
Amazing selection of fish, meat, oysters and delicious deli. Friendly people and great service.
Really fresh seafood, and last month they had the largest softshell crabs I have seen in the last 30+ years!!

Re Gina Cindric's comment from 'a year ago'. We agree. Lighthouse has changed considerably. Soon after new employees came on duty, we noticed the fresh fish is now piled high, and obviously the older fish gets moved to the top, as the salmon we purchased was slimey. I bought it on Sunday and wanted to cook it Monday. The 'new' employees do not have the knowledge the previous employees did. Not pleasant at all. We bought from Lighthouse weekly. Everything was fresh, including the salads, which are now packaged, not packaged to order. We haven't been back.
The fish is fresh but price gouching is going. Bought 36 crabs for $298, ridiculous! I'm not coming back here for crabs
FRESH, knowledge, and fair priced. Can't say enough good things about this place.
The freshest seafood in town. Every single time I buy from here I'm impressed with the quality of the fish, crab and shrimp. You can also order hot food to go. I bought sushi-grade salmon and shrimp tempura, and created a poke bowl at home! Great prices for the quality as well. (If you're buying raw fish to make your own sushi, the price is unbeatable!)
I live in Middletown, Md. so it is a bit of a trip to get here. I try to stop by and get some food as I travel I-70. For some reason my schedule rarely coincides with Lighthouse Seafood's hours and I find it closed as I pass through New Market. Today I was visiting a friend in Damascus Md, and when I left, I stopped by to get some food at Lighthouse. I saw a flyer advertising Lobster Rolls. It was 4:40 Sunday when I arrived. I had an employee check on me and I asked about the Lobster Rolls and he said yes they still had some. Then he went into the back and came back out and told me that there were no Lobster Rolls left and they were cleaning the kitchen, which meant the kitchen was closed. No more cooking. At 4:45. Glad I didn't drive all the way from Middletown to get no food. If you want to close the kitchen early, close the entire store at 4:00 or 4:30. Don't close the kitchen when you are still open for 15 minutes. Needless to say very disappointing. I will be going to JB Seafood in Myersville. At least it is closer to my house. Sorry Lighthouse. I like your variety and menu.
