We always enjoy eating here. It is somewhere you enjoy the food and do not leave disappointed. This is a popular spot so I would recommend making a reservation and during peak times expect to wait;but the food is worth it. It is a small restaurant with limited seating and they cannot control how long a table sits. Also save room for dessert or be sure to take some home.
Quaint little place. We used to go there frequently several years ago. Went back on Saturday for first time in probably 4 years. I used to love their fried chicken but decided to be adventurous and try a crabcake. ($28.50 single w/2 sides) After we placed our order, I quickly realized that waiter didn’t ask if I wanted it broiled or fried so I flagged him down. Barbely’s has delicious food. Homemade.
Love their fried chicken, Mac and cheese, turnip greens, fried green beans, and the homemade pie is a must have. Great service too. Good idea to make reservations for Friday or Saturday. You will enjoy it.
