Chesapeake Market and Deli prepared and delivered platters to the wedding party at The Inn at Herrington Harbour. Everyone loved the food, the delivery was timely and there was more food than anyone could eat! Excellent!

This place is a hidden jewel in Chesapeake! A little market with a restaurant inside, good food served up fast and hot, and the friendliest service I've seen in a very long time! We will definitely be back!

I have been ordering from Chesapeake Grille Dunkirk for years. The North Beach location is a far cry from even the three star service and product in Dunkirk. I ordered a reuben, extra crispy bread on both sides with extra thousand island dressing. What i got for my whopping $15.89 was a soggy sandwich, no thousand island, and sauerkraut that tastes and looks like onions. Sauerkraut should be bright and crisp. This tastes like mush and something that is more than 6 months old. One bite and in the trash. The level of incompetence and not caring is astounding.

Good convenience store, but I don’t know what’s going on in the deli. Two days in a row I’ve tried to go in and order a bagel with cream cheese and they’ve told me two days in a row that it’s an hour and twenty minute wait. There’s no one else in line and I can see the screen filled with phone orders but come on, man. You can’t even throw a bagel in the toaster for a minute for one customer? That’s ridiculous and if it’s happening every day your business is open, you gotta figure something out.

This place always delivers great food - we’ve probably eaten here 30-40 times in the past few years. Highly recommend the BLT if you’re a bacon lover. The only thing I would change is the cheesesteak - good bun and meat but they use too little cheese for it to be truly called a cheese steak. Yup - this is an official dare from a PA-born, cheesesteak eater. lol - love you guys!

We love Chesapeake Deli...the food is always perfect. My daughter works across the street at Herrington by the Bay & often orders carry-out. Tonight she placed an order...I picked it up for her & the cashiers were so concerned with a customer requesting a large amount of parmesan cheese that i was ignored for a while & then they failed to give me her drink. We didn’t realize it until we were almost home. Hope that man got his 6 ounces of cheese

Food was great but it was pretty hot inside and there were a lot of flies buzzing around. This is one of our favorite places—hoping to see these things fixed. Great service as always!
