“My son and I enjoyed this place! Great location and view of the harbor. Our server Lacey was so sweet and she recommended some appetizers that we really enjoyed. We ordered the crab dip which was delicious. It was served with garlic butter bread which paired well with the dip. The potatoes hush puppies were amazing. Perfect crunch on the outside stuffed with perfectly seasoned mash potatoes. We also ordered the bumpy burger with homemade thousand island dressing and the steak tacos. Both were well prepared and mouth watering. Additional their fries aspired with their homemade ranch dressing was just as delicious. Highly recommended this place. It’s worth the drive. My family and I will be back.”

“Birthday dinner with my wife. She had the chicken bruschetta pasta, and I had the braised short rib. We both enjoyed the crab Dib with pretzel bread (exceptional). We got extra bread with that. Chicken was tender and pasta cooked perfectly. My ribs were a bit on the tough side so will go with the burger next time. Risotto very good. We ended with their beignets. Good grief, they were amazing. We will be back for sure.”

“The food is perfect, the location is great, the service is top tier, and they have onsite security. So with that said, bring at least $20 to $50 per person. My order was $50 with tip, but it was worth every penny. I tried to take pics of my food like I normally do, but I was too busy eating it. I highly recommend getting the Fillet Medallions (Rare), Sweet Potato Fries, and Saulteed Vegetables. You will not be disappointed.”

“I was in this fine establishment on Thursday night and the young kids working were amazing! We didn't know they closed at 8 pm we arrived about 7:50 pm. We were welcomed and both workers were very nice! The cook didn't hesitate to make our food and I felt like we were holding them up! Both employees need a raise don't loose these two! It's nice to see such young individuals with manners that have excellent customer service! These two will go far! If I owned an establishment I would hire these two! Thank you!”

“We went as a party of five and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food! We experienced little to no wait upon arrival, and our waitress was incredibly accommodating. The manager was also very attentive to our needs. However, if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, I'd recommend avoiding the small round booth near the bar, as the acoustics in that area can get quite loud. Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed the salmon slider, portobello slider, cod sliders, and the star of the show was definitely the sweet potato fries. “First off, I never leave reviews but I need to today because this place is amazing. The outdoor bar during the summer is the best vibe and the short rib meat on anything and everything is GLORIOUS. I just ordered the burger to go and oh my…. This may be one of the best burgers I have ever had. From the toasted bun, the excellent medium rare temp, the perfect amount of pickles, and the sauce. YUMMO IN MY TUMMO.”

“Hospitality, tea, and snacks were amazing. We had the St. Patrick's day special tea along with a few selections from the regular menu. 10/10 would recommend. Reservations fill up quickly, so plan ahead. They do have a few small tables in the main area for walk-ins. They also carry teas, tea sets, and other cute accessories for sale. They accommodate small children as well.”

“Fresh and tasty seafood - good selections too. The crab chowder is to die for. It a nice waterfront restaurants next to West River Yacht Harbour. I wish they have Tesla EV charger though. Would be a great place to stop and get good food /drinks while waiting for the car to 'charged up'. The owner should think about this addition for extra revenue since I saw many Tesla while I was in the area but there was no charging station.”

“Our server Alex was friendly and knowledgeable, the food was absolutely delicious. We started when the crab arancini and the charcuterie board, the arancini with the saffron sauce is just amazing. Main courses we had a salad with diver scallops and the squid I'm pasta, both were incredible. Dessert was the zeppole and the dessert wine, all around one of the best meals we've had in a while”

“I've been around for 68 years, and am somehwat of an ice cream connoisseur, and this little place sells what might be the best tasting soft serve I've ever had. I've read that there are quite a few different qualities of soft serve, I suspect Shady Side Soft Serve uses top quality. Getting a cone, and licking it while hanging out in the parking lot (sitting on my tailgate) with the other relaxers there is a pleasant treat. As if I've gone back in time. No hustle, no bustle. He was very courteous and helpful the entire time. Not only was he managing, but working the fire stove, and running orders to cars. All while helping me with my problem.
