“Anthony’s in Dunkirk is one of those spots that pleasantly surprises you. The food is consistently better than you’d expect, with solid portions and great flavor across the menu. It’s become a go-to when you’re craving a reliable, satisfying meal without having to head too far out of the way.

The only real downside is the noise level. When it gets busy, it can be pretty loud—definitely not the kind of place for a quiet, relaxed dinner or an easy conversation. Because of that, we don’t end up going as often as we might otherwise.

Still, the quality of the food keeps us coming back from time to time. If you don’t mind a lively atmosphere (or grab a table at an off-peak time), it’s definitely worth a visit.”

“Apparently it will not allow you to post reviews that do not recommend this business... So, I decided to select that I recommend the business so, that I could leave my review. I've always had a great experience, but the last time my family and I ordered and went and sat down and waited for our order, after a while we finally went to see what was going on and our orders were sitting there half melted and they were all the wrong orders, and not just us but all of the other customers there as well. It seemed the young girl making the ice cream and shakes had no idea what she was doing along or what was in each shake and neither did the lady taking the orders. When we brought it to their attention the young girl had an extremely bad attitude as well. It was very disappointing considering we made a special trip and drove 35 minutes there for bad service and wrong orders.”

“We love Chesapeake Deli...the food is always perfect. My daughter works across the street at Herrington by the Bay & often orders carry-out. Tonight she placed an order...I picked it up for her & the cashiers were so concerned with a customer requesting a large amount of parmesan cheese that i was ignored for a while & then they failed to give me her drink. We didn’t realize it until we were almost home. Hope that man got his 6 ounces of cheese”

“I ordered cupcakes for a birthday party. I ordered via their website and it was easy to order and to communicate with the owner via text message. The cupcakes were delivered to my house on time. They were super delicious! I choose the Boston cream, that was one of my favorites, the Apple one also very delicious with pieces of apple inside, the blueberry and the chocolate one it was a huge success, I highly recommend them!”

“I did not expect such delicious, high-quality food and awesome wait staff. But they did not fail to impress on any dish. I only wish I had given them a chance sooner. My dad loved their Thai hot it meet all his spice needed. My two year old ate a almost all of the 4 good portion satay skewers at the restaurant; they were well flavored and cooked well.”

“Chicken was cooked well, with a good season, if a little blander than I was expecting. The fried yucca was good, and very filling. The tortilla soup was very good but could use some more spice. Overall, the food was good, and you get a lot for the price. I hope more people give it a go; it was a bit of a ghost town.”
