Food was terrible and definitely not worth the outrageous pricing. When you’re paying that much there needs to be an experience and the food has to be exceptional. We had to go and buy more food elsewhere which is ridiculous.
The Branzino is delicious. This is restaurant is beautifully decorated.

I gave a one star because the menu online and the menu they have posted is different from the menu that they presented to us. The food was not good at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone..

We really used to enjoy coming down to City Sliders for the variety of sliders choices and great truffle fries. The options have been reduced and you can only order two of the same as a meal which is the same as ordering one sandwich. Our fries were cold and we had to ask for the table settings. We did not try the steaks but with the price and what we observed as the over all service decline, hope that is better than what we experienced.

Fantastic food, great service and the menu is created and very optional. If you want food that tastes delicious and doesn't make you feel bloated when you leave like other restaurants do then I suggest you try this place. You won't be disappointed

Ordered crab cakes.. Have no idea what they brought out but it was not crab cakes. It was 2 1/2 dollar size not crab cakes with some bunt shoestring fries. The Oysters were good but very small. $80.00 For one entry, Cesar salad and 4 oysters was a joke. We left and went to Traders and had a real dinner.

food wasn’t terrible.
It's been a while since I've been back and now it's a Steakhouse so I would have to go back to review that.
As a slider place, it was pretty good. Lots of options, everything tasted good but it was a little pricey. I think it was a little too much for the quality received. They're was a lack of consistency between multiple visits. Service was average, especially for how busy they weren't. So, after multiple chances, we just stopped returning.
Looking at the new menu, I assume this trend will continue unless some amazing reviews come out. With the switch to the Steakhouse, it looks like a return to the Westlawn Inn, which you have that location for a reason. The prices are DC prices well outside of the city, with the cheapest soup at $12, cheapest starter $14 and Entrees not including steak(not that it's cheaper) $27. So, as the same establishment, it's hard to even take a chance, especially when I know I can get something good down the street at half the price. Maybe some day, but I'll need a good push.

This place was an autistic nightmare with the music blaring so loud I couldn’t think. The service is summed up by no one being at the reception desk when we entered and the waitress being alone and seemingly overwhelmed. It was a high in the 80’s today and they didn’t have the AC on so it was stifling inside but thankfully they were willing to turn the ac on upon my request. They’ve changed their menu and now the sliders have to come as a meal with fries and you can’t mix and match so basically they should be called “sandwich” now since that’s what you are really getting since they’ve defeated the purpose of a slider 🤦🏻♀️ the southwest egg rolls were cooked well but they were reminiscent of a salty beef stew fried up in an egg roll with a side of ranch. The wedge salad was the highlight of the meal with super fresh ingredients and a ton of blue cheese crumbles. We got the lamb slider and the southern chicken and both were just fair to me. Both were missing something on their flavor profile. The fries were another high point for the meal. Delightfully crispy and perfectly salted. I’d say if their steaks are good (and hopefully they are given the price) they should just change their name and the menu and roll with the steakhouse vibe instead.

Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. The sliders were exceptional. Great flavor on the fried chicken and bbq brisket. Bahn Mi and Korean pork belly were also delicious. All around the food and drinks were excellent.
