Extensive menu, but just go with Biriyani. Everything else is just another Indian takeout.
Best biriyani in rockville plus 200miles radius, Hands down.

Proper methods, accurate spice blends, decent quality ingredients. You will see their genuine effort to match the taste ( which is ironic because everything else is just average)

Rule no one : But food has to be tasty above all.
For that Biriyani city matches Fresh and good grade ingredients. I see no shortcuts in prep. All fresh ingredients too.

Chicken is the best.
Followed by goat. But hope they work on the tenderness of the meat.

Boneless is a shortcut for customers. Don’t bother with anything else they call a biriyani. ( for that matter anywhere in the world)

We went almost at the closing time, they were cleaning, still they welcomed us nicely. The persons were on the counter, all of them were really humble. And who served us the food he was really nice. The place was nice, food was tasty and quantity was really great. Definitely recommended.

I had the pleasure of having lunch today at Biryani City Restaurant on Boiling Brook Parkway, Maryland. From the outside, it looks like a regular local spot, but as soon as you step inside, you’re pleasantly surprised by the inviting décor and comfortable atmosphere—it truly makes dining there enjoyable.

The restaurant was spotless, and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience, and the service was absolutely brilliant. Even the bathroom was very clean and fresh, which says a lot about their standards.

I placed my order, and the food was simply delicious—I couldn’t stop eating! The menu offers a wonderful variety of dishes, all prepared with care, and everything I tried was outstanding.

I also had the chance to speak with the manager, Mr. Ashok, who was very professional and welcoming. He handled guests with kindness, patience, and a genuine smile, which really added to the overall experience.

Without a doubt, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine. Thank you, Biryani City team, for a wonderful lunch—excellent food, excellent service, and great value for money!

This was my first time dining in at Biryani City, and it was a great experience. I tried the chicken boneless biryani and also ordered a kushka on the side since biryani usually has more meat than rice.

The combination worked perfectly. We also had the chef’s mutton special, which was excellent.

The food was flavorful, the portions were good, and the whole experience of sitting down and eating there was really enjoyable.

Highly recommend checking this place out in person.

Very good biryani. Flavorful, and big portions. I got the lamb biryani, tikka paneer, and chicken 65. All were good. I could overlook the paper dishes because of how good it tastes...Also, it can be taken to go easily. Only other place as good would be biryani joint IMO.
