The meal was outstanding as there was a dish on the menu that each one of us really wanted with an Italian dinner. The dining room was a pleasant place to dine as it looked old Italian like one in New York City. We all agreed we will be coming back!!
Food and wait staff are excellent. But restaurant is very noisy, which is not surprising on a Saturday evening.
Calamari is delicious. I love the tricolore salad; it's got a bit of a kick, maybe it's spicy arugula. Chicken parmesan is large and delicious. Their signature dish Spicy Neapolitan Ragu is hearty and the spaghetti is is just right. My fave dessert was the tiramisu.
The food was outstanding as usual. There was a mistake with our salad (it came with chicken and we didn't ask for it) but the staff was friendly and helpful in getting it fixed. The only downside was that we were seated next to another table that was less than 3 feet away from us, practically molding our two conversations and making it difficult to enjoy our intimate night. They did provide us with complimentary champagne while celebrating our engagement!
I have been wanting to come here for a long time, but the timing or reservation availability had never lined up before. I had been to the front bar area for HH before, which was nice.
The decor of the dining room in the back is very cute! Really nice atmosphere. The booths that aren’t half booths are a bit tight, just fyi, but after we got settled we were fine.
Our waitress, Pascal, was very sweet, knowledgable and attentive! I wasn’t going to get the gnocchi but after she recommended we try all three restaurant week entrees, I did and I think it was the best dish of them all! It reminded me of my late father’s homemade Italian dishes and it was really enjoyable. The famous garlic bread was also amazing, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the chicken parm. We agreed the penne alla vodka could’ve been a bit better and less salty, but it was still enjoyable, and my group absolutely loved the crème brûlée.
The restaurant also recognized that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary with complimentary champagne and a card for a complimentary mimosa when we return for brunch. I really want to try their famous tiramisu! The service overall was just 5 star - from being greeted/seated, to Pascal and I assume some of the management team who came by the table to ask how things were. Overall we had a wonderful evening & look forward to trying more menu items.

It was a perfect night for an Italian dinner outdoors, so we chose Carusos! Alex was a wonderful waiter, very attentive and quick to serve. He also gave great conversation!

I went there for Sunday brunch. The sharing plates were good but the main food wasn’t that great. The service was not good: spilling water on guest, making order mistakes, try to get the dish out while we are still working on it, hanging out with other guest (seemed like they were friends).

Tried this place for the first time last week for an anniversary and will not be back. Service was extremely slow and although were three or four managers striding around importantly at all times, not once did they ask how we were doing as we sat there with empty appetizer plates for 30+ minutes, waiting for entrees. It would have helped if our server had made suggestions on how much to order, we got an appetizer and two pasta entrees and that wasn’t enough food for two people. Maybe we should have each ordered a salad, or split one? It wasn’t clear at all. I don’t blame the waitstaff, they seemed poorly trained - at one point a runner wandered around the restaurant with two plates for nearly five minutes until the guests waved them over and claimed their food. Maybe it was just a bad night, but really disappointing experience overall.

The food was ok, but it took way too long to come out, like more than 45 minutes to an hour for a chicken parm and shrimp pasta. The basil strawberry lemonade, we couldn’t taste the basil at all. They forgot my side order as well. I was craving Italian but it’s likely I will think twice before coming back here for it.

My girlfriend went into the bar for a drink and food she spent 34 dollars to be told by the manager about being on her phone . She wasn’t being rude or super loud . The conversation was innocent so there is no reason to be told to get off your phone . The music was loud and no one was around it was pretty rude and like she was being targeted. She is also a Hispanic New Yorker we are definitely not the lowest talkers but I’ve never in my life experienced something this rude ! We have been here so many times never had this experience! Don’t eat here if you want to talk or have any conversation!

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I found the food to be lacking.

We love it here! Often order the same thing --ragu with ricotta as I love it, but tried the primavera special--delicious!
You should really start with the calamari served with traditional marinara and bonus lemon aioli. We loved the aioli so much we had to ask for more! I have a tendency to order salmon no matter where I go, simply because I like fish. I was pleased to see trout on the menu and I did not regret my order. Perfectly done with delicious steamed vegetables. You know you've had a great meal when you still think about it the next day. This is what I'm doing. I would so have the same dish right now again for a second day in a row! Service was fantastic. Our reservations were for 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday night and it was nice and quiet until 6:00 rolled around. With all the dining patrons at this hour, the noise level rose tremendously and we had to speak with raised voices. That's always a turn off for me.
