A lovely place to drink tea, ice smoothies, and other drinks. The price is okay. You can control the ice percentage and sweetness for the drinks. I would rate them a 9.5-9.9/10 and encourage them to create more other interesting drinks and to keep up their hard work. A lovely place.

Gong Cha is located inside The Block Food Hall in Pike & Rose. My fiancé enjoyed the Tropical Green Tea with Star Peach Jelly. The Tropical Green Tea consisted of a blend of peach, passionfruit, and mango. I enjoyed the Little Star Peach Green Tea with coconut jelly. We liked them at 30% sugar. They were sweet, fruity, and refreshing! We were so thirsty we forgot to pictures of our bubble tea.

One of the better Gong Cha locations in the DMV area where the boba is fairly chewy and the drinks aren't watered down. Like other Gong Cha locations, the drinks are on the sweeter side, so I recommend adjusting your sweetness by 25-50% less sweet than your usual order elsewhere. Located inside The Block Foodhall & Bar, there is plenty of seating under vibrant neon and floral decor.

Ordered a fairly simple drink - milk oolong tea, no embellishments. Kinda hard to mess up.

The new mango drink is the best and very refreshing. Perfectly made drink for the summer. This place has the best staff and great service.Vegetarian options: Available

The customer service is at this location is top tier, all of the employees are super friendly and accommodating. I love ordering any of the dirty brown sugar drinks and my drinks are always made to perfection. It's located inside the block food hall so at times it gets super busy, but it's nothing the crew can't handle.

This review is for this location only, there 3 in Rockville. I usually get my milk tea after I do my mini shopping at Pike and Rose. The parking is free for the first 2 hours in the garage as well as the open lot directly across from the eatery known as "The Block".Ordering came be done by using the kiosk or in person (if the person isn't busy making drinks). I prefer this place over other milk tea places since they offer a variety of milk substitutes. There is a upcharge for milk choices, bubbles and jelly items. The menu of drinks are quite extensive as well. I feel bad if there is a line behind when I order because I take a bit of time, SO much to choose from. The variety of drink creations are ENDLESS LOL. My go to drinks are anything with strawberry and 0 sugar. I prefer the jelly options over the bubbles. The amount of jelly is plentiful as well. Faithful customer here!

I've tried their purple sweet potato Boba drink, a matcha boba drink, a brown sugar boba drink and the latest time I tried a limited edition strawberry cookies and cream drink. This Gong Cha location is pretty convenient because there's free parking for the first two hours at the nearby parking garages and you can just pop in after shopping or studying at a coffee shop. The block it self, is really busy all of the time and has a bunch of other restaurants, is pretty loud, and has limited seating. But if you're just popping in for some tea, that's really not an issue. However, this is probably the most expensive Boba tea I've gone to in the area. Their drinks are pretty unique, and they all taste pretty good, but you'll end up paying about eight dollars or more for a Boba tea. That's definitely a treat yourself situation. You order from the kiosk, and the workers make your drink pretty quickly and then you got a text message to come pick it up. The workers are quick and efficient.

This place definitely tops my list of boba places in Bethesda. Tiger sugar is up there as well, but Gong Cha is going strong. They have a TON of different options, such as their coffee series, taro series, grapefruit series... etc etc, of which some are caffeinated and some aren't. Their grapefruit yogurt tea with popping boba was refreshing, but their most interesting drink is perhaps the Hong Kong style mango tea with grapefruit pulp and coconut jelly. It's creamy, fruity, and coconutty all at once, and is reasonably priced (around $6). My friends love their brown sugar and coffee series, so I'll be back to try those next. The kiosk makes it super easy to order, and the drinks are made super quickly. The kiosk also lets you customize the amount of ice, additional add-ins, and special instructions, so you can get it just the way you like. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough!

I've only ordered from here once but was happy with my drink. Boba was soft and chewy and consistent with other gong cha locations I've tried. Only downside was that they don't offer the sweetener levels in percentages like other locations do. Otherwise I was satisfied with my experience.

This location doesn’t make their bubble drinks that good. The one at The Spot is much better!

Wayyy too sweet. Got a dirty brown sugar coffee and the lowest level was 50% sugar. Bad idea. This thing was drenched in sugar. It looked like chocolate syrup and kind of tasted like it too but it was just brown sugar apparently. They don't have too many options and seemed hesitant to give me less ice. Meh. The coffee jelly was fine. Glad I only got a medium
