The roasted cod is very tender and well-made.

Weather was perfect for outdoor seating. Our waiter Henry was able to tell us about every dish we had questions about with all kinds of detail. Unusual to find somebody so passionate about their job as a waiter. We had the Alsatian tart To start. It is an amazing little pizza that I would highly recommend. I had the crusted trout which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by vegetables that were fresh and delicious my friend ordered the chicken kebab and was equally pleased. Presentation was beautiful. Definitely will return!

Great food and service. Only reason I gave it 4 stars on atmosphere is due to the noise level.

Excellent food, and the staff were very accommodating of our large party. We sat outside in lovely weather and they graciously added extra chairs to the table to make room for us. Maggie is a star!

Serviceable but not great. Salad wasn’t terribly interesting, I’ve made better at home with some decent vinegar and punchy herbs (which were both lacking here). Mushroom pasta appetizer was flat-no acid or salt to elevate it above the flavor of cream of mushroom soup. Both dishes had a plasticy sort of cheese that didn’t have much flavor. Both dishes could have been rescued with some decent cheese (like a salty, kicky feta or a nice nutty parm, respectively). Not sure if it’s the recipes or execution, but the food absolutely needed more care and thought.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Would go back again
My friend and I had a great time. For starters, the restaurant is in the middle of a nice area so we walked around and went into a couple of stores before dinner. The food was delicious, and the service was great. They gave my friend a little birthday card since we were celebrating his birthday and got a nice birthday candle with the dessert. We had a great time here, we can't wait to go back.

The drinks were creative and delicious, and the food was just as impressive—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ambiance is warm and stylish, making it the perfect spot for a night out or a special lunch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-quality food and drinks in a stunning setting!

A group of 6 went on a Tuesday night for an early dinner after work. The bright open decor inside is very inviting and the lovely outdoor patio is great. Our server was friendly and informative. We all ordered a drink before dinner. I had the conquistador which I loved. Everyone enjoyed their cocktail, wine, or mocktail. We shared two appetizers, the burrata and the brussels sprouts, and both were fantastic. For main course, two of us got the cod, which was excellent (and a large portion). Others had the rigatoni Bolognese, the scallops and the cauliflower. All were tasty and beautifully plated. I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend.

An excellent and inventive new restaurant in the Pike and Rose District of Rockville. The food was good and the setting was festive. A real find.
Great upscale dining at Julii's. We're not big drinkers, so started with mocktails: Cardamom soda. Just two of us got 2 starters, the Labneh dip and the Alsatian tart which is pizza-like but different with a hint of sweetness. Probably should have gotten 1 starter, but both are excellent. Entrees were Scallops with creamy risotto and I had the lamb shank tangine, excellent. Savory, so good. Finished with creme brulee. The service is excellent. We sat outside, beautiful night. You pay more for Julii, but it's worth it!

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful—I was very satisfied overall.
I just wish the table service paid a bit more attention to water, either by refilling glasses more often or providing a water bottle at the table.

Ordered the crab salad, which was supposed to have heirloom tomatoes, but the tomatoes looked and tasted like grocery store tomatoes in January. They need to up their game on quality ingredients. Also ordered their wonderful bread, but it didn't come until we were almost through with our meal. I expected more from Julii!
Always have an excellent experience here. The bartenders are amazing and the old fashion is a reason on it's own to come here. Favorite dish is definitely the chicken kabob.
