The wait for food, including appetizers is long. I tell folks, don't go when your hungry! They should offer rolls immediately! Other than the wait for food (which seems to be normal at Julii), it was good as always! They also put up with me changing from 5 people to 4 and then 3, when one had to go to NJ last minute and one got sick. Lovely people!

This place could do much better. They are cheap and make you pay for bread - they don't even tell you it doesn't come with the food. They are inflexible- I asked to substitute the ham that came with my eggs with something else- and there was nothing! They wanted to charge me several more dollars to add some smoked salmon but the chef did not offer even lettuce or spinach as a substitute- so cheap!! For a place of this quality!! And a lot of people don't eat ham.

Tiny little jewel box of a restaurant. A place for "ladies who lunch". Great food, incredible service. Look forward to every meal that I have there and am never disappointed.

Julii is one of my favorite restaurants in the Bethesda/ Rockville area. It's a special treat for me to eat there because the food is a cut above that in most other restaurants. It's also a lovely and charming interior, just the right size. So I was surprised and disappointed yesterday when my meal was not good. The usually-delicious Brussels sprouts were bitter and hard; and the cod salad had overcooked dry fish and bitter greens. I am counting on this being a momentary glitch and hope that my next Julii meal will be delicious!

Early dinner service for our group of 6 was more than excellent, with Grace handling our table with an enjoyable level of skill and care, as well as personal attention to our needs. The dishes—as always—were excellent. Some of us had a favorite, I tried the trout for the first time and it was truly top notch! Just still wondering why they pronounce the name of the place without deference to the Latin spelling convention. ;-)

I went there to celebrate my birthday on a Thursday evening with my family. We sat outside. The weather was lovely and nice. Inside is nice also. I have gone there for lunch with friends and enjoyed as well.

I have been here several times and this time I was very disappointed in the quality of the food. The lettuce in the salad was old and brown and the French fries or potato wedges seemed as if they were from KFC

I met an old high school buddy and his wife for a special occasion. I had the steak frites, and it was done correctly (medium rare) with a great sauce. My wife had the lamb (a signature dish) and she loved it. The server (Julie) was very attentive and helpful.

The restaurant is on the small scale, but not uncomfortable. We had the roasted Brussel sprouts and a mushroom dish for appetizers. Both dishes were delicious. For entree we selected the trout. I must say that I was so impressed. The trout was cooked to perfection without being over seasoned. The flesh of the fish was so moist with a crispy skin. Surrounding the trout was a well-balanced meuniere sauce that accompanied the fish perfectly. The fish rested on a medley of cubed potatoes, peppers, cauliflower, celery and almonds. The service was awesome! Our waiter Tiko was on top of it. He is very engaging and comes highly recommended. Overall, it was the great experience. The trout dish is one of the best dishes I have had in the DMV. I'm a foodie and I have eaten all over the world. The trout dish is definitely in my top 10 all time dishes.

This restaurant is in a very central shipping area of Bethesda with plenty of parking places around. This was our first visit and we were quite impressed. We ordered Labneh, Avocado Toast, Chicken Kabob, Crispy Trout, Scallops Risotto and Creme Brulee. We were extremely impressed with the taste and the presentation. Even a simple dish like Labneh was made to look so pretty. Creme Brulee came with pistachio brittle which gave it a super crunchy feel. We recommend this restaurant highly. Service was top notch as well. Food is freshly prepared is what we were told and it certainly came across that way.

This was a first visit for me and my husband's date night. Elio our server was very attentive and nice. We had cocktails & wines for drinks, mushroom & rolls for appetizers, rigatoni bolognese & Branzino special for our entrees and apple crumble, cappuccino & a mocha for dessert. Absolutely everything was delicious. We made reservations since it was a Friday. Will definitely be returning!!!

Wonderful setting, great menu & service, excellent food presentation, and great flavors with the food. And the crème brûlée was a terrific ending to the meal. Need to note how much appreciated we were to receive birthday wishes and card! Wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at Julii! Our server was fantastic, he was well informed about the menu and had great recommendations. The menu had unique and delicious dishes. Excellent wine list. Great atmosphere for a date night.

We watched the server be attentive to everyone but us. Didn't offer drinks my daughter said thank you he ignored her twice to the point I said it and he didn't even turn his head to respond. We will never return and I'm sorry others had to split tips I gave 12 on 89

It is a very nice restaurant with great ambiance, quality of food and drinks. I love the aesthetics of the food presentation and the cocktails are usually a piece of art. It is on the pricey side though and the portions are small.
