I bought couple of mini-danishes. First, man at the register tried to overcharge me. I argued, but he did not speak any English. The danishes were really old (maybe 2 or 3 days old). I almost broke my tooth. Not going back.
La Bohemia Bakery is hands down one of the most delightful spots I’ve visited! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly baked goods and the warm ambiance make you feel right at home. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible management by Hugues.
Hugues brings a level of care, passion, and attention to detail that is rare to find. You can tell he pours his heart into everything—from the quality of the pastries to the friendly customer service. He’s often out front greeting guests, making sure everyone is having a great experience, and that personal touch really elevates the entire visit.
The croissants are flaky perfection, the coffee is smooth and rich, and every pastry is a little work of art. It’s clear that Hugues and his team are committed to excellence, and it shows in every bite.
Highly recommend La Bohemia Bakery to anyone looking for a top-tier bakery experience. Hugues is the heart and soul of this gem!
I would rate a 6 out of 5 if I could. We got a canelé for free and everyone inside the store was so kind despite how we came the minute before closing. Love the atmosphere, the service, and the canelé was delicious.
It’s a starchy, crunchy, lightly honey-sweet, spongy, sweet which genuinely suits everything I would want. Dessert by itself is stellar.
Rude staff. the actual price is higher than the ones on the menu.
Delicious almond croissants, pain au chocolaté and more! I feel like I discovered a little treasure of a bakery. We will be back!
Horrible. We ordered a bunch of pastries to eat as a family and they were not edible. Mostly stale.

Absolutely a 5-🌟 bakery. Here is why: (1) The sweets and pastries were incredibly fresh and flavorful, paired perfectly with a delightful cup of coffee. The peach tarts and canelés were nothing short of heavenly! (2) Altyn, the owner, was exceptionally warm and welcoming, thoughtfully introducing the most popular options and making great suggestions. (3) The bakery itself was spotless, well-organized, and had a wonderfully cozy, quiet atmosphere. I noticed another customer relaxing on a comfy seat near the entrance, enjoying the ambiance while working on her laptop without interruption. (4) The prices were surprisingly affordable for such high-quality and delicious treats. 😋
Would I recommend this place? Absolutely Yes!
It is a gem worth visiting 💎

From savory to sweet, you cannot go wrong with La Bohemia Bakery. I love their baguettes and Miche breads, both of which have excellent texture and flavor. No one can beat their Honey Cake and Almond Cakes, you can taste the love and care they put into each of the several layers and in their custom cream fillings. Service is prompt and courteous - the staff and owners are all highly-personable and attentive to their customers. The shop itself is cute as well! I almost forgot to mention they have great sandwiches as well, with some pretty awesome deals! Definitely worth checking this bakery out! I was going to post some pics of some of the cakes we recently purchased but my family already ate them all. I guess you can’t have your cake and eat it too! 🤣
Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten-free options.

Doesnt smell like a fresh bakery. The man behind the counter was not welcoming at all and we gave him no reason to be unkind or unfriendly. We felt like we were an inconvenience by just being there. We managed to get a half smile at the end- not sure if it was a kind smile or a smile of joy because we were leaving. We ordered sandwiches- meat did not taste fresh. Baked goods did not taste fresh either but they were OK for baked goods that had been sitting for who knows how long. I would never recommend this place and we will never be back.

Amazing canaille. Was able to try their baked goods at the Baltimore farmers market. Both people serving were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. Price was fair. Will be looking out for them as I return to the market

Unwelcoming male worker/possible owner. Couldn’t find the daggone place cuz the sign is so faded. The bakery looked like it was empty all the baked goods were removed from the display area. I was confused. The guy didn’t speak more than 3 words to me. He gave me two gigantic frozen hard “eclairs” from the back kitchen never seen eclairs like that. This place is ridiculous unnerving to me cuz the guy didn’t show me the screen and swiped my card. I was nervous he was going to tip himself. We will see my credit card said. Seems a bit much $14 for 2 frozen cold eclairs, 2 mini canele and 1 regular canele. Oh well. Trying to support small biz.Update: the eclairs were dry af choux and the caneles look nothing like the older photos. These were dried up and appearance wise didn’t match up to previous pics so I thjnk this place has new baker or owners sadly. It’s a no for me dog
