I've been going to different Nando's for decades. The first one I went to was in the U.K. back in 2005. This Nando's is the first and only one that I've been to that has had abysmal service. First, the hostess wasn't doing her job and while we were ordering food, a family took our table since she wasn't around to seat them. They then apologized for the problem - fine, things happen. If this was the only issue, I wouldn't be writing this review.I ordered a chicken sandwich with double the meat. What was delivered was a normal chicken breast cut between two halves - this is the same as a normal order. I then asked about it, showed it to the hostess who had been walking by and she looked at it and went to the kitchen. She then came back and said they want me to walk up to the kitchen. All this time my food is getting cold. So I go up there and I get another shrug from the woman who prepared the food. Then what I believe is the manager comes and says that it is a double order and they can cut the chicken in half and stack it. Seriously? This isn't my first time ordering this meal, and I'm well aware of the portion sizes. At this point, I just gave up since it was obvious this was too much for them to be bothered with. I really wish I had taken a picture of my order, but I was so aggravated by the lackadaisical treatment and the fact that my food was lukewarm by this point that I didn't even think of it till later.I suggest you go to any other Nando's in the area as this place will only lead to aggravation if you have the same staff as we did on a Sunday. I'm sure there will be a reply to this review stating that they are "sorry", but if they really were sorry, they would've fixed the issue when it happened and not after a review was posted.

In the afternoon, I found myself needing a quick snack before my next appointment. I happen to be next to Nando's so I stopped in after shopping at REI next door. After ordering at the cashier, I waited on a cushioned bench in front of the pickup window. While I waited, a few employees stopped by to greet and acknowledge me, and I admired the modern decor inside the restaurant. The order took about 8 minutes to complete. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich which was good; it tasted both straightforward and healthy.
Why have I never eaten Peri-Peri? From the moment I stepped into Nando's, the vibrant aroma of grilled goodness enveloped me. The decor, warm lighting, and lively chatter set the stage for a memorable meal. It's the kind of place where you can unwind, chat with friends, and savor every bite. The staff at Nando's were attentive and friendly. Since it was my first-time dining there, they guided me through the menu, ensuring I made the most of my meal. I liked the fact that we could order from our table, or we had the option to stand in line. We chose to order and pay from our table so when we were finished, we could just leave. Now for the food. I ordered the Quarter Chicken Breast with Corn of the Cob and Roasted Brussel Sprouts. The chicken by far was the star of the show! The chicken breast was cooked perfectly, juicy, tender, and infused with Nando's signature peri-peri flavor. The skin had just the right amount of char, adding a nice smokiness. I also ordered it hot, but I didn't get any burn, but I could overlook that with all the flavor I was tasting. The Corn on the Cob was sweet, buttery (which I had to add), and straight from summer dreams! The corn cob was perfectly roasted, also with just the right amount of char. A touch of lime zest elevated the experience, leaving me craving more. As for the Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Nando's nailed it! The sprouts were caramelized on the outside, yet they were tender within. The sauce which I think was a Peri-Peri ranch, made these little green gems irresistible. Nando's Quarter Chicken Breast with Corn on the Cob and Roasted Brussels Sprouts is a symphony of flavors. While the chicken and corn stole the spotlight, the Brussels sprouts played a solid supporting role. My only issue was that I wished for a tad more spice/heat on the chicken, but that hot sauce they make, more than made up for it. Overall, a great experience and meal! Nando's, I'll be back the next time I'm in town, because this meal deserves a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars. Whether you're a peri-peri aficionado or a first-timer, I don't think you can go wrong here.

The customer service was exceptional, particularly the manager in-charge. From the moment I seated myself, the manager made sure I was comfortable, provided me with excellent service. Their attention to detail and professionalism were truly impressive. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh my word, the food was amazing! I don't know why, but this Nandos has the best chicken of any location I've tried. The bread is fresher and the sides are bigger than other ones I've been to. Plus they have that cool Coke machine where you can basically make your own soda. This is also the only location where I have never had a problem asking for the nutritional info (food allergy)
