I was so disappointed with our experience. Aside from the great food, we encountered a rude employee that asked us "to leave as soon as we paid because they needed the table." 1) she could have said/asked another way and 2) we were waiting for our card back so if she would have communicated with our waitress she would have known. Felt very rushed to leave and it came across very rude.

This restaurant has upped its game. We were very impressed with impeccable service and food. All the seafood and pasta in our orders was perfectly cooked. Calamari and shrimp were succulent and tender. The pasta was perfectly al dente. Service was attentive and efficient, including a visit by the GM to explain their seasonal menu options. Michelin quality food at neighborhood prices. Will be back!

The meal was outstanding as there was a dish on the menu that each one of us really wanted with an Italian dinner. The dining room was a pleasant place to dine as it looked old Italian like one in New York City. We all agreed we will be coming back!!

We took my mother here for her 77th birthday on October 19th. I have been to the DC location several times and always love it, so we figured Carusos in North Bethesda would be a similar experience. Keep in mind that our reservation was for 1:45 pm, and the restaurant was NOT busy at all. It really wasn't. It took forever to get our server's attention. The drinks took well over 20 minutes to get to our table, and the lack of attention from the staff was impressive. I think the manager came to our table at one point to ask how the food was, and we said it was good. But that was the only good part of our experience. I can't in good conscience ever go back to this location. Part of me wondered if it is the fact that they close at 2:30 pm and our reservation was for 1:45 pm. I did call in advance to ask if that was OK, and they said yes, so I'm not sure where the disconnect came from.

Excellent food, dishes were prepared well and extremely flavorful. Service was disappointing, staff was less than friendly and appeared to be untrained in hospitality/food service. We will try Carusos again, perhaps take out.

This was mines and my friend's first time going. I loved the homey cozy feeling of the place. Definitely a lovely place to bring your family. Our waitress LaBrade was exceptional gave us excellent service. I will definitely return.

Service was disappointing. Food delivered to the table before the drinks for both appetizers and entrees. Waited a very long time to get servers attention re coffee. Servers was pleasant just not on their game

My dinner was tasty. A bit of a smaller portion for almost a $30 bowl of pasta. Waitress was delightful.

Everything was great, above our expectations. Only issue, a minor one, a bot over air conditioned.

Owens has some amazing atmosphere and incredible food. We had a brilliant experience with our server Fitz, highly recommend him. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough if you want an upscale yet relaxed feel!
