All you can eat crabs were a great deal, and they never stopped coming. Service was great and the crabs were tasty.

Such a fun experience! I was on a girl’s trip in Chesapeake for a few days and we were recommended to check out Bay’s Crawler Crab Shack. What an experience! Our server handled a huge group so well and we all got exactly what we ordered. I’m a crawfish girl (native New Orleanean) but Bay’s may have converted me to a full on crab fan. So delicious! Definitely recommend you check them out when you’re in the area.

As we were walking in, all the waitresses were sitting around on their phones. We got a picnic table outside and ordered two cocktails. They were average at best. Once our food came, the waitress said she would get us silverware but never came back with it. We had to go to the takeout window to ask for some forks. The clams were amazing and the crabcake was great. The cook staff did a great job, but the front of the house was pure lazy garbage. The poor service was enough to make sure we never go back, no matter how good the food was.

The first one was not that fat, but the later ones were very sweet and plump. It's just a little salty, but it tastes delicious after soaking in boiled clam water

First time visitors and our group was very pleased! The crabs, the corn and service were exactly as expected for a crab shack. My only suggestion would be: better signage to help find the place. I was on my bike without GPS and I drove past it twice.

The waitress was very accommodating. Seated my wife and her aunt very quickly to get them out of the sun. Despite the clear, oppressive heat, the staff was upbeat and friendly.

HORRIBLE FOOD (August 4 2024)
RUINED the Party
BAD CRAB NEWS - Bay Crawlers in North East Maryland are selling ReHeats at full price. [$200 - 1/2 bushel of XL (6¹/²inches or bigger ?)]. REHEATS are crabs from days prior that were never sold also known as leftover crabs that were supposed to be disposed of....thrown away in a dumpster. Some crab shacks sell reheats the following day for $1 per crab. Bay crawler charges full price tho. The crabs were all under 6 inches and had no meat in them and tasted spoiled. Picking a crab up with your fingers would actually crush the shell even if you grab the knuckle of the claw. This part usually takes multiple packs with a wooden hammer or the back of a butter knife. These just crumbled without even squeezing them. I guess they tried to cover this up by dumping mounds of salty old bay all over them. Corn was of same quality. Only one person at the party ate 2 crabs. Everyone else only ate 1 or less.
I was so embarrassed. Mad that I left a $20 tip. My aunt actually called to Bay Crawlers to speak to some one. She was hung up on halfway thru her second sentence. Disrespectful. I heard good things about Bay Crawlers a year or 2 ago. Looks like their business is headed to the same place as the rest of these crabs I still have today.....to the dump. Next time I'll just get fast food. I've included a couple pics. I'll take a Pic of the crabs I'm about to throw out(in the box they came in)...notice how many are missing.

Wow! Visiting from Alaska, my family brought me to Bay Crawlers Crab Shack for the first time and the service and food were amazing. Due to my diet, my food had to be customized and Delaney was a saint to assist. She was considerate, and exceptionally attentive to our needs. What a wonderful experience for my family and I.

Made the hour and half drive for all you can eat crabs, and it was definitely worth it.
Crabs were meaty and fresh. Be mindful that you are outside in an air-conditioned tent

Ordered doz jumbos, when we took them home they were mostly 4” crabs. Never had such little jumbos. Definitely crossed off our list. Ordered and drove 30 miles for such a disappointment

All You Can Eat Crabs for $45! They were Delicious and properly seasoned. The crab dip was superb. The service was friendly and quick, and the drinks were delicious. I'm definitely going back before the summer ends.
Wheelchair accessibility: I suggest pulling up front first if you have a ride. The ground is loose rocks and sand, but wheelchairs can make it. My niece was comfortable in her wheelchair while we were there.

Crabs were VERY SMALL , the waitress brought out the dirtiest container to put the shells in . It looked very moldy, we had to get the other employees to put our orders in and not once did our waitress ask did we need anything else
Purchased a doz jumbos by phone to pick up. Never saw such small jumbos, one was 3”, several 4”. What a disappointment. Not a lone over 6” in the doz. We order jumbos all summer, anytime we can get them. Never saw ones like this. We also drove 30 miles to pick up.
