Love The Wellwood. It's my favorite restaurant. My husband and I go there often and have never had a bad experience there. The food is great, the service is great, and the atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommend it.

We have had multiple large group dinners here. Food is always on point, taste, presentation, price. The staff are always pleasant and attentive. Would definitely recommend!

The restaurant is kid-friendly with food that children would enjoy. The formal dining room is beautifully done, and the long-standing reputation of the restaurant holds true with excellent service and even better food. Recent guests praised the fried green tomatoes, which were fantastic, and mentioned that both entrees were cooked to perfection. The food is described as delectable, with hot, spiced crabs and superb drinks. The staff, including Todd and Kelly, are attentive and friendly, making every visit a great experience. The restaurant has hosted large group dinners where the food, taste, presentation, and price were consistently on point. Visitors also appreciated the large portions of the fried green tomatoes, Salmon BLT, and Shrimp Salad, with crispy fries and extra fried potato wedges that are super crispy on the outside and soft inside.
