We stopped in for brunch on a Sunday and had some wonderful oysters. We sat at the bar and all of the bartenders were engaging and delightful. I had the crab benedict and it was perfect. My date had the shrimp and grits but did not finish them. She said she did not want a box, 20 minutes later on the drive home she was lamenting about not getting a box to enjoy the rest of the meal later.
Love this place, my husband and I go here whenever we are up that way. We sometimes go 45 minutes out of our way just to go here. Staff is always on point, atmosphere is comfortable, and food is INCREDIBLE!! Definitely recommend…
Never been here, but I know all about this restaurant. It is known for being the home of the Great Steak Challenge which was featured on Man vs Food during the Adam Richman era. Adam had to take down five different cuts of steak in one hour plus sides. He came very close to conquering the challenge, but he did not succeed. Makes me wonder if the challenge is still in effect. If it is, maybe I will take it on if I ever come down here.
