This place is highly overrated. I honestly don't know why people like this restaurant so much. And the people they hire, horrible personalities. It's like a prerequisite.

I learned of this restaurant by recommendation from a friend. It states it is one of Maryland's best. That is a material misrepresentation. We had a party of nine. The waitress Lisa behaved like a drill seargant and appeared to not want to serve us. It took an hour for any food to come out of the kitchen. I never recieved the sauce I asked for. Part of my food was cold. They ran out of silverware. When we asked to place an order of food to go we were refused by Lisa stating the kitchen would be mad about the addtional order. I have never been refused an order of food. Lisa took it upon herself to write in her tip amount. Even if we had planned to give her more, her writing in the tip assumed something that was not true. Very wierd sundown town dining experience. Another couple right next to us was being treated similarly. They brought them hot soup served COLD. They decided not to continue the dining experience. 10/10 do not recommend. Do better. Do better. Do. Better.

Was looking forward to try this place based on the Google reviews, but the food was really disappointing. Ordered strawberry daiquiri and pina colada - both were watered down flavor wise and weak alcohol wise. Crab bisque was ok, but the texture was too thick and did not have enough crab meat. The crab and artichoke dip was mostly artichoke and barely had crab. The steamed shrimp was not easy peel. The fried shrimp was tough. Mac and cheese was too loose and not cheesy enough. Service was pretty lackluster as well. Overall, pretty disappointing and not worth going back to. We should have referred to the Yelp reviews that rate this place at 3.7/5 - this is a more accurate average rating than the 4.4/5 on Google. I strongly advise against going here. We spent ~$100 on a meal that is probably worth $20.
Me and my fiancée stopped in for our first time. We ordered appetizers which were really delicious. Jaime our server gave us some excellent recommendations. We didn’t stay for long but we will be returning back again for the good food, excellent environment, and amazing service from Jaime. Thank you! :)
