1st time, definitely not the last! Everything was great! Stuffed peppers soup, Cuban flatbread, hot ham and cheese, homemade chocolate chip cookies, burgers, pretzels. Our group had several items from the menu. Delicious and definitely surpassed my expectations 😋

Super cute bistro with amazing craft cocktails and delicious, from-scratch homemade cooking. This hidden gem is one you won’t want to miss, it will keep your taste buds alive from the very first bite. The staff makes you feel like family: warm, personable, and engaging. That extra touch goes a long way when choosing a restaurant.

Menu was kind of limited with all the sandwiches behind basically the same thing. Also very little vegetarian options. Way too expensive for what it was. Cute inside but limited space.

The best place in the Oakland area for lunch. Hands down. Everything is so fresh! As a local, we love coming here and appreciate their efforts at sourcing fresh and local ingredients (and supporting local businesses).

We loved the food and cozy atmosphere, staff was so friendly and came over to check on us throughout; its such a sweet place ! We got an Alder Burger, Mushroom Wish Burger (all burgers recommend!), a BLT (with a beautiful tomato slice), and the Reuben (bread all around was so yummy) ! The Cream of Mushroom Soup was on for the day, and we got four of them because they were just that good ! Head over to 206 Alder for a bite if you're staying near Deep Creek or in the area, its worth the short drive over ~ ♡

Came here on a lunch date and was blown away! The food was amazing. The menu isn't huge (usually the sign of a good restaurant) but there was such a good variety to choose from. It was fresh and delicious. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere inviting and casual. We will be recommending this restaurant to anyone who asks.

I stopped in on a day trip to Oakland because a quick Google search said they offered vegetarian options. At the time I came in, around 1pm on a Wednesday, nearly every table was full, plus bar customers. The one server was in the weeds but so polite and welcoming.
I ordered the beet soup which was made with coconut milk and it was the most amazing soup I've ever had. And served in the cutest vintage glass bowl, garnished beautifully on top. Truly a work of art and so delicious. I kid you not, I came back for a second bowl before I left town. I met the owner on my second stop in and it was a pleasure chatting with her.
I also tried their veggie flatbread on gf cauliflower crust which was yummy. I wish I could have stayed for trivia night which was happening that night. This is the kind of place every town needs and I wish them all the best!

Had a great meeting here a few weeks ago and I've been trying to find an excuse to come back with my family ever since! My colleague is vegan and was very happy with his meal. I highly recommend the gazpacho and the turkey Rachel.

Updated post, I went back for an after party but got there too late for food. I did get some tasty drinks and a delicious warm chocolate chip cookie made in house. I love tropical drinks and got one that reminded me of home with the nutmeg sprinkled on top. I also had a shot of this apple flavored moonshine that was incredibly smooth and delicious. If you are in town visiting definitely check them out and if you are looking for work they were hiring as well.
The food only got a low rate because we saw a picture of a drink with a beautiful flower in it and ordered that, but when the drink came out it looked nothing like the image. I understand seasonal items but would have appreciated a heads up about missing the flower especially when that seemed to have been the reason the drink was $13. Besides that the food was tasty and the atmosphere was incredible! I'd definitely give it another try.
