Beautiful setting. However the waitress hurried us to order even though we repeatedly told her we wanted to relax with a drink first as it was our anniversary. Crab soup was delicious. Large spinach salad was nothing much more than a bag of spinach! Disappointing. Hubbys mushroom ravioli was very good. Prices are on par with restaurants in the area.

The Deep Creek Lake Mountain Burger and the Beet Salad with the Maple Balsamic dressing were both amazing (I added salmon, which was perfectly cooked and delicious). The lake view is lovely, and the service was impeccable. Definitely recommend!

On the shoreline of deep creek sits Ace's. Getting down to it, Ace's was fairly underwhelming. We were seated immediately and the host was extremely kind. Our waitress, while kind, had the enthusiasm of a rock. The food portions were huge... too huge. I had no clue how to eat my burger and the fish for the fish sandwich was more than double the bun size. Not to mention, I ordered a medium burger and received a well done and dry patty. The flavors seemed so bland for the amount they piled on the plate. The ambience was also underwhelming; while the table had a great view, the decor had no soul. This means the long wait for food felt longer. This goes down even further when you see how steeply priced everything is. 2/5 stars.

I can’t begin to explain the level of detail, care, attention, and professionalism that was displayed from everyone involved. We ate at Aces Run several times on our last trip to Deep Creek. The service was great, the drinks were delicious and the food was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the Marsh Mountain burger and the pork chops. The maple glazed carrots that came with the pork chops were fabulous. The regular sliders, the crab cake sliders and the cheese curds were delicious. The kid's meal portions were generous and tasty. My grandson enjoyed the Mac and cheese and the chicken. The shepherd's pie was a hit with my son-in-law. We all loved the beautiful view of the lake. We will definitely be going back on our next stay.

Horrible horrible service!!! Stay away! It’s the kitchen, not table waiting. The pictured sliders came 1 hour 15 minutes after the order. And this is on top having to wait for an already empty table for 15 minutes in another room downstairs. Just stay away!!!

Pasta night is always great. So many choices you cannot try them all. If you get 2 or more you won't need to eat the next day. Cream of crab soup was a great way to start and the Blueberry buckle was a great way to end. The servings of pasta are larger than they should be if you want to sample a few. Ask for smaller ones if that's your plan. It would be nice if they had a way to move people through the pasta lines quicker. Overall it's a great way to spend a Wednesday evening as long as you plan to sit around after dinner!
