Fantastic made to order donuts lakeside! We stopped here a few times on our latest trip to DCL and it was well worth it for these fresh, hot delicious donuts. Highly recommend the French toast donut!!

There is no more perfect food in this world than a hot, made-to-order donut fresh from the fryer. Add beautiful lake views to the equation and it's almost too much. This is simply a must-visit. Don't leave Deep Creek without dining on a dozen of these donuts.

We ordered variety of donuts. It’s a very similar concept to Duck Donuts if you are familiar with that. Everything we ordered was great. Be careful to pay attention to the actual ingredients on the donut. The electronic sign boards had a little bit of incorrect information when it came time to ordering. When we come back to deep Creek, we will come back.

Fun atmosphere to order and nice variety of flavors and toppings. Missed on having a creme filled selection but the basic donut had great flavor and topping variety excellent.

Doughnuts were excellent and freshly made to order - not greasy at all. Doughnuts are “cake-y” and require fork and knife to eat with the topping.
Nice deck overlooking the water in the back.
Great value to top it all off too!

I hate to say I’ve lived here for 28 years and this is the first time I’ve stopped here. I’ve had their donuts before at events and they were always delicious but didn’t realize they make them to order as you watch through a window. I stopped one morning on my way to help at my church’s kids camp, wanted to surprise my group with donuts on our last day. Got a dozen assorted and we all had so much fun trying all of the different flavors. Staff were so nice and made this first timer’s experience fun! Limited parking right in front of building, but you can park next door at the creamery.

We got to watch them make our donuts from batter to box which was cool! There is seating out back with a view of the lake too.
It was a neat experience. They should tell people where to go after ordering or have signs up to direct you where to go.

Fresh, hot, made in front of you donuts! You can customize them however you want or they have a big board of their own combinations. My favorites were the one with coconut and the chocolate glaze. When they first come out hot, it’s a little hard to eat they are almost too soft. If you wait a bit it’s more together. However if you wait till the next day, it’s pretty hard and not exactly good. A little too much glaze on everything - when they put them in the box, the sugar glaze pools in the bottom. When you try to take the donut off the cardboard box, it sticks and rips the bottom of the donut off. It even happened when the donuts hot and just came out. The day old donuts ended up being hard - they weren’t good by themselves but if dunked in coffee, it brought the life back to them. It was definitely only worth the try, if I was in the area again it’d probably get it again, maybe ask for light glaze? (Also I didn’t read the reviews before coming in- many mentioned cleanliness which really scared me. I didn’t go into the store myself so I cannot speak for that but I would take that into consideration and look around before if we go again. ) One thing to add. The day we went, Friday, they had buy one get one free which was a nice touch!

Donuts are an airy fluffy cake with a wonderful light crunch on the outside. They are served plain (like an old fashioned) or you can get them topped with all sorts of decadent flavors.

I’m not really a chocolate donut person, but I LOVED the blueberry glaze donut and the Deep Creek Dunk (glazed with coconut), and my boyfriend really liked the s’mores. They were all delicious!
