Finally found that special place in Garrett County to make someone who looks like me feel the revolting racism that I've somehow managed to miss in my many years of coming up here-I'm here once a week.To be fair, the waitress wasn't quite the issue; although the place is one room, it took her about 4 mins to acknowledge us, and was she going to walk us to the one table left (directly in front of us) or the counter seats, instead of just telling us to seat ourselves?The issue was the temperature drop, head's turning (multiple times), blatant stares and scowls from Garrett County's upstanding citizens. You know when you're being examined and scrutinized. Measured and prejudged. If you don't, perhaps you don't look like me.

Really neat little diner with amazing food. We stopped in for breakfast, had the chicken and waffles and sausage biscuits and gravy. It doesn't look like much from the outside, something you'd expect to see on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives but highly recommend you stop in you won't be disappointed.

Used to go to there for breakfast almost everyday until just going there and they raised there prices, a single breakfast was almost 20.00. With a tip was over 20.00 I will not be going back, what a shame!

Great local place at DCL. Perfect place for a great breakfast. Omelets and blueberry pancakes are delicious. Everyone is very friendly. They even have a little store with the local crafts. We go there often. This is definitely our go-to place for breakfast.
