My girlfriend loved her filet and the asparagus was the best we ever had. My filet however was a bit dry. We haven’t found anything better in the area so We’ll be dining here again in the future.

Lobster Mac and cheese was good, crab cakes were OK....Asked waitress for remoulade and gravy . She said she would go check. She didn't return until the end of the meal with the check. Never mentioned anything about the remoulade, or gravy. However, she looked a bit guilty. Service was subpar at best.

We had a large group of people around 14 people, which I understand can be overwhelming. The service of our waitress was great but the food was terrible. The appetizers were good. We were given a raw steak (purple). Another steak was to be medium well and was hard as a rock no pink. The other steak was to be medium well, it came out medium rare was sent back and came out even more raw. Most of us did not eat our food.

Wait was too long for mediocre food. The wait staff is friendly and young, but not very professional. They got one of our orders wrong, but we had waited so long to get it- we did not complain. There were items on the menu that were not available.

Nice place. Very very slow service. Salads came after main course arrived. Grilled shrimp was over done, dry, and rubbery. Steak was no longer hot by the time it got to the table. Server made very few stops to see how things were - water refills few and far between.
I could have been a great meal - it just wasn't.

Good food and friendly service. It’s a beautiful house and we loved dining in the sunroom.

Blandest tasting shrimp scampi. Had no desire to finish it. Others in my 4- party were also disappointed with their meals. The waitress was nice but needs training on how to properly serve a red bottle of wine. Will say the setting is very nice.

Despite mixed reviews, we gave it a shot.

My party ordered a variety of items.

Creamy pesto Alfredo….low on flavor.

Crabcakes… call them MD style if you will…the cook must be from Louisiana.

Shrimp scampi…was dry and lacking overall. Lots of shrimp and no flavor.

The cream of crab soup was an orangish color and separating.

The crab topped mushrooms were fairly ok aside from being greasy.

The crab dip was the best overall from the things we tried.

They made some yummy garlic bread which was brought to our table long after the soup was gone.

I played it safe and ordered a burger. I kept it simple and asked for grilled onions, cheese, ketchup and mayo. The burger cane out with toppings I specified to omit, and the ketchup was not provided. Before she left the table I asked for ketchup.

I asked a few more times before it was ice cold.

After 30 minutes when my party was done their food I asked for a manager to have it taken off the bill since it was cold and I still did not have ketchup.

No apologies. Just excuses that she had some big parties.

If that was actually a manager, that explains the performance of the overall service.

Stephanie left the table piled up throughout the meal could not be bothered with taking away empty glasses, salad dishes and appetizer plates.

We could not get refills on our drinks and when two people in my party did they were not what they were drinking. Asked for the correct drinks which never came.

Our intent had been to celebrate the last day of our vacation and my husband’s birthday. I can tell you that I will never go there again. My recommendation is that you learn from my experience and dine elsewhere.

Class, wonderful taste, fantastic service, food is perfection. We stopped here randomly looking for a nice place to eat. I am so blessed we found this place. The old style Victorian house setting immediately sets the mood. We were seated in the covered porch section. With the stain glass light fixtures, beautiful single pane glass front porch, and wonderful seating arrangements, you'll definitely feel classy.

My wife and I had the lobster bruschetta as a start, which was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Her quinoa was perfect according to her, and my blue cheese burger with lobster chowder was excellent. My burger was cooked to perfection.

We were told the chefs favorite thing is cheesecake, so we had to try some. We got the creme brulee cheesecake was literally the best I have ever had. I let the waitress know my compliments to the chef.

Please check this place out as it has definitely made it on my top 10.

Let me start off by saying We LOVED our food our only complaints were the Ceasar dressing didn't taste like traditional Ceasar (it had a Dijon taste) & our Asparagus was cold. That's the only reason I didn't give the food 5 stars but it was a 4.9. We have always LOVED the Manor no matter what name it is called we have been coming here for as long as I can remember it never disappoints! The sun room is absolutely beautiful now! We live in WV & I am a hairstylist so I tell everyone they must come here if going through the area.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp on the side of the building. We used it many times when we would bring my Mother.

One of the best meals I have ever had. The Brussels sprout appetizer was delicious and the Chesapeake Chicken Sandwich was fantastic. Highly recommend!!

Parking: Very easy to get in and out of location, lots of parking with well maintained lot.

We just had a very disappointing lunch at Stonecroft Manor. We ordered 3 things - a bowl of cream of crab soup, the chicken quesadillas that were one of today's specials, and a Chicken Chesapeake sandwich. The restaurant was definitely not crowded, which makes me wonder about waiting about half an hour for our food. The soup was warm when served, not hot like soup should be, and although tasting somewhat of crab, didn't have the pronounced crab flavor that we expected (and have found in other local establishments). The Chicken Chesapeake sandwich was served on a brioche bun that was flavorful, and most of the components of the sandwich were fine, but there was absolutely no taste of crab when you took a bite. You could see a little crabcake looking component in places on top of the chicken, but in no bite could either of us taste any crab flavor at all. Finally we come to the quesadillas. You could not pick one up to take a bite because the shell was so limp from all of the wet components that it couldn't stand up to the filling. We tried eating one by just leaving it lying on the plate and cutting a bite off, but that really wasn't the point, and when you opened up the shell you could just see the grease oozing off the contents. Our server made the mistake of asking us how we liked our food, and we gave her an honest answer. At this point, she left and another young lady showed up - I gather she was a manager? We explained the same things we had reported to our server, and she excused herself, and then came back and basically had a response to each of our complaints. The crab soup was their special recipe and had a ton of crab in it, you could see the crabcake on the chicken sandwich (and I never said you couldn't see it, just that you couldn't taste it), and that's the way they make the quesadillas. At this point she might have saved herself and the restaurant if she had offered to comp some of the meal or even offered a gift card for a return visit, but all she seemed to think she should do was explain to us that we must be wrong because everyone else likes these items. Enough said. We will not be back, nor will anyone who asks us for our opinion. Incidentally, our server was terrific, so none of this was in any was her fault.
