My husband and I booked a room here for our anniversary getaway. We’ve been coming to OC for years and have stayed at more than 12 properties/condos on the boardwalk. The only reason I would stay here again is convenience because my family members have stayed here every year for years now… and it’s nice to be in the same hotel but the owner of this hotel is super unpleasant to encounter. She has a rude demeanor. You would think working in hospitality she would have a more professional and pleasant attitude. After our first night we came back from breakfast and there were HUNDREDS of ants all over our one bed. I called to the front desk...
The hotel was excellent for our five night stay. We stayed on the 3rd st side. Please be aware boardwalk performers can be out until 1 AM. There was a karaoke performer one night. This did not effect us but those with oceanfront rooms were complaining when we saw them in the hall.
