Honestly. In my experience, if you get a crab cake at most restaurants in OC, they are quite often mediocre ( there are exceptions). I find if you want a terrific, all lump, fresh, properly seasoned crab cake, there are two carry outs, Uptown eats on the north end and Captain's Galley on the south end that have excellent crab cakes. We live nearby and get food from Captain's Galley regularly. Excellent crab cakes. They also have delicious homemade (I assume) potato chips (think Thrashers), excellent Cole Slaw and their Mac and cheese is out of this world! Highly recommended!

Best crabcake we have had in OCMD!! Absolutely all lump crab and no filler. Worth the trip!! We had 1 crabcake sandwich and 1 platter that comes with 2 delicious crabcakes!!! Enjoy!

We picked up our Thanksgiving meal yesterday hot and ready to eat. Everything was delicious! The turkey was perfectly cooked, the mash potatoes and stuffing were awesome. Of course the crab cakes were top notch! I can’t thank Captain’s Galley enough for providing our family with a perfectly cooked homemade meal. No stress for me and the clean up was a snap. Will definitely do this again next year!

I consider myself an expert on crab cakes, crab dips and basically anything Maryland crab! This place has the best crab "Anything" I have ever tasted or purchased on the entire eastern shore. Hands down the best crab cakes bar none! Must taste, must experience this place and what's the icing on the cake? It's small and located in a strip mall but exudes it's expertise in food and quality. 5 stars all the way.Parking: Huge space for parkingKid-friendliness: Open and flexible dining and take out. No pomp just great food.

Amazing. My gf is a Maryland native but we live in Virginia Beach, so she was craving a good crab cake but was also a real stickler for what would pass. Especially the recipe itself (NO FILLER). She loved the food! Everything we had was delicious and some of, if not the, best -crab cakes, chips, coleslaw, and hush puppies. Go here!!!

Everything they serve here is made from high-quality ingredients. They even made fresh Caesar dressing for my salad that was out of this world.I will definitely be coming back here every time I’m in the area.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly!
