I am so sad about what has happened to Golden Sands. I have stayed there every other year for the past 16 years and then they brought in Vacasa, which is the company that has one of the worst reputations in the entire industry nationwide (used to be Coldwell Banker vacations). The prices for all the units went up astronomically and the cleanliness of each of the units went down terribly. Due to new management, everything that was good at the tiki bar (crab pretzel, chicken fries, shrimp salad sandwich), they discontinued for some reason. We stayed somewhere else this year and decided to try the tiki bar because of all if the fond memories and sadly, it was worse. I will never go back there again.

Golden Sands Ocean Resort was absolutely phenomenal and a great experience. They were professional and super attentive to every need during our stay! We already want to come back next year. ❤️

The food here was pretty good, but the drinks had very little to no alcohol in them. The seating is just pool chairs and a table with an umbrella, but that's pretty average for this kind of scene.

The prices were outrageous. 20$ for a 7&7 and a seltzer drink is absurd. You literally don't understand your market. At most those drinks should have been 12$. You chase away sales when over pricing your cocktails. Because afterwards I went up to my room to drink and then bring it back down. Grasp a clue, I wish I could brate it even lower
