I don't normally write bad reviews but my family really wasn't impressed with our visit a few weeks ago. We ordered 2 pizzas for all the adults and a chicken tender meal for my child, the only child at the table. The pizzas were done way sooner than my child's meal, so much sooner that we had to mention it to the staff twice before she finally got it. Maybe it's just me but I would have thought if anyone gets served first it should be the kids.

Stopped to eat here on our girls trip. Very disappointed not in food or the waiter. It was so cold in there we asked them to turn the ac down. We ate our salads pizza came out an we asked for boxes to take it to go it was cold we all had goosebumps. Our waiter was so sweet he offered his jacket to me. Definitely not a place to go and sit unless u like to freeze. Thank you to waiter who tried to get them to turn the ac off and for offering your jacket

Food & service was great. Always stop here after a long drive for our first meal & beer. The atmosphere is typical Grotto's. A pizza joint. Nothing snazzy.
Just paid over $40 for the worst 2 basic supposedly medium pizzas. 1 cheese and one pepperoni . Thin flat tough crust( you know the kind that feels like it could rip your teeth out) and the medium were definitely on the smaller side so I question what size they really were. I usually go up in De. to Grotto so was SHOCKED how much worse the pizza was at this location. I will say the staff was nice and pizzas were done quick... hmm almost too quick because they had a long line for carry out pick ups and yet mine were done in less time I could imagine it takes to make them and cook them and have them boxed and waiting and already cooling. Honestly the $3.99 frozen cheap Tony's pizzas from Walmart would be a better choice

On arrival at OC, MD we unpacked and ordered take out. We got a pepperoni pizza and a sausage pizza, an order of Korean BBQ wings. Everything was yummy, perfect for unpacking day.

Its a great place, great food...I sat at the take out side and I could see servers waiting for food to come through the pass from the cooks....the servers were wiping there noses and touching their hair with their bare hands and grabbing plates of food...then looked around to see if anyone saw them...that means they no better than that..this happened on 8/26/23...between 7-7:45pm...please talk to the staff about cleanliness and sanitation....they never know who's watching.

Great location and staff. Bartender was great. My wife has celiacs and she loved their pizza, which is rare. They actually took care to focus on her allergy and made sure she was safe.
