My family and I are here for vacation, and we found OC Wasabi for dinner the other night. The food was very very good. Definitely coming back!

Great staff! The sushi was fantastic and tasted delicious. They offered my friend ice cream for her birthday, though we declined, the gesture was unprovoked and welcome. The prices were reasonable. Intimate interior, but everyone was respectful of space and volume.

We have been here a few times and always love the food and the staff. The Maryland fried rice is amazing and the Udon noodles have such as a delicious flavor. The sushi is always fresh and we love trying new rolls every time we go. OC Wasabi is definitely a place you want to visit if you love Japanese/Sushi.

Ordered some takeout food tonight. Really wish I hadn't.
First the good: the fried rice was okay. I was able to eat it.
My NY strip however was about as far you can get from medium rare. I'm actually still chewing on my first bite.
The veggies that came with were quite impressive actually. There was a single slice of carrot, part of a slice of zucchini, one spear of asparagus, and two pieces of broccoli.
But the truly impressive part of that vegetarian feast? The flavor! They tasted identical. Every single one. And not a one had ever been introduced to even the idea of salt.
It's Ocean City. The ocean isn't that far away. The store is preferable, sure. But you can source it yourself if you're running that short.
My fiance ordered sushi and the spider roll was extremely super, and lacking much meat at all. It was also weirdly grainy.
We were incredibly disappointed in the portion sizes for the teriyaki dishes we ordered.

I think 3.5 star. The food was just not there. I'm quite a fan of crabmeat sushi because of the freshness of the meat along with the sushi. The rolls with crabmeat lump and scallops tasted more like a roll of sushi rice with sauce. The rolls with the crab meat just didn't have enough crabmeat to balance the flavor; it had maybe just a tenth crab meat lump compared to the size of the roll. None of the special rolls were really memorable except for the crunchy roll. The soft spicy crabmeat appetizer would be better if it was actually spicy, but it was just fried and served with tempura sauce along with other tempura sides. The soft shell crab was crispy and soft with a nice crunch. I think their deep fried food is definitely good.
Service is excellent and I love the fish tank. One person came by to feed the fish too and it was very nice to see all the fish actively swim around.

Worst Japanese we've had in a very long time, way too expensive. The muscles were good, but the teriyaki was just soy sauce and sugar. Miso tasted like crap. Not worth $160!! The fish was not all fresh tasting. Our food amount given to us was also a lot smaller than traditional Japanese, I get that expensive places serve smaller sizes for better quality, but this was NOT better quality. This was the equivalent of the fast food version of sushi. Also for people looking for traditional Japanese places one way to tell it's not traditional are the amount of non-japanese people actually working.

I had a miso soup and roll of sushi with tuna and about 1.5hrs later I was violently ill. I’ve had food poisoning before this was on another level. It took me a full day and a half to recover enough to even get out of bed, which means I lost a day and a half of my vacation so thank you for that. I will never go back to this place and recommend using caution when ordering anything here. Other than that the service was great.
