Tried this spot for the first time, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. It happened to be steak night. When the NY strip steak arrived, I asked the waitress for steak sauce knowing I like it on my steaks. I decided to give it a try before pouring it on the meat, and I didn’t need one drop! This was the tastiest steak I’ve ever eaten! The flavor was out of this world. I asked for it medium, and it was cooked to perfection. I’d definitely go back!
We were staying a few blocks away and found this place while walking the avenue. We went the night before leaving OC and were sorry we hadn't found it sooner or else we would have been back. The place was busy for a Saturday night, and we went about 5pm and were able to take advantage of the happy hour until 6pm. We had high hopes for this steakhouse, but the experience was honestly disappointing—especially for the price. We paid $145 for a choice cut tomhawk steak that was ordered medium and came out well done, completely overcooked and dry.
