“We were staying a few blocks away and found this place while walking the avenue. We went the night before leaving OC and were sorry we hadn't found it sooner or else we would have been back. The place was busy for a Saturday night, and we went about 5pm and were able to take advantage of the happy hour until 6pm. We were seated upstairs right away and had drinks and appetizers to start. the entrees came shortly after, and all was good! The server (Tenijah) was great! She had a great personality, a nice smile and checked on us the whole time we were there. She actually told us that she had only been there a couple of weeks, which we found hard to believe because she was excellent. “We heard our favorite bartender Jen Lowe was back on Wednesdays night so we booked and extra night to be able to stop by the Shark to say Hello. Happy hour at the Shark is our favorite place to go while visiting the Ocean. This was night number 3 for us this trip and as always the food was delicious maybe better than in years past. Always fresh served hot and always with a warn friendly smile. It’s always good to go the a place that’s has a feel like “Cheer’s “ atmosphere. Where they greet you like family and make sure you leave happy and looking forward to your next visit. So visit the Shark the best food in all of Ocean City.“

“We finally decided to give Alley Oops a try and honestly… we were shocked at how good the food was. You never expect arcade food to come out at this level, but everything we ordered completely exceeded expectations.

The fish and chips were fantastic. The fries were crispy, well seasoned, and addicting on their own, but the real star was the fish. You get two thick pieces of flaky cod that were fried beautifully with a crisp golden coating that stayed crunchy while still being light.

We also ordered the filet medallions and shrimp entrée and were seriously impressed. The steak was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the shrimp were cooked perfectly with a bright, savory seasoning that made them stand out. Everything sat over a bed of flavorful rice alongside a colorful vegetable medley of carrots, peppers, and green beans that tasted fresh and well prepared instead of like an afterthought.

The atmosphere was also really fun and unique. It’s honestly nice having the restaurant, arcade, and bowling all under one roof because there’s constantly energy around you and plenty to do. The only downside is that you can definitely hear everything from the arcade area, so it can get pretty noisy during busy times.

What really made the experience stand out though was the service. We had a gentleman named Collin who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely down to earth. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, helped guide us toward great choices, and even gave us awesome recommendations for other places around town to try. It was refreshing having service that felt so personal and welcoming.

For a place known more for games and entertainment, the quality of the food truly blew us away. Definitely one of the biggest surprises of our Ocean City trip and somewhere we’d absolutely come back to eat again.“

“Our third time there - always great! Our server Monica was terrific. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was a bit expensive but was great! I had two oyster shooters, my wife had a cherry lime aid crush - excellent. I had the scallops and my wife had braised short ribs. All cooked perfectly. We were given a nice choice of tables on the bay. Wife had the mud slide cake for dessert. Very yummy. Hard to find solid places to eat in OC. This one has held up quite well. Will be back again!“

My son and his father recently ate here while visiting Ocean City, and after he came back home to St. Mary’s County, we realized his phone had been left behind. When I called the restaurant, not only did they confirm they had it, but the manager, Johnny, immediately offered to send it back to us. He asked for my address and shipped it straight to our home — no charge, no hassle, no questions asked. In a world where good customer service is hard to find, this went above and beyond anything I could have expected. This level of kindness, honesty, and genuine care for customers is rare, and it speaks volumes about the type of people who run this restaurant. Even though we live hours away, they treated us like locals and family. Tucked bayside in the Harbour Island Association complex, the vibe was lowkey with a gorgeous view. Our server Natalie was super friendly, and everything we ordered was excellent, the mozzarella sticks were classic but perfectly cooked, the Assawoman combo (scallops, shrimp, and tuna bites) was outstanding, the chicken sandwich had amazing sauce, the fries were hot, the coleslaw was delicious, and the drinks were great. Truly a wonderful night, and we’d absolutely go back.“

“So good! Every time! Tonight was no different! We always attempt making the HH, because it is amazing! Tonight, we were late. That sunset was sooooo pretty though. Tiffany was an amazing waitress, making recommendations without care! And I took them … and am happy to say that Feta cheese dip is to die for…that tomato and basil is everything wrapped in that feta. So good! And then, that rockfish…WOW! So delicious, and a little spicy on the back end. I like it like that though so, it’s a match for me! Seriously, you’re going to want to experience the vibe and the dishes. “We visited the Crab Bag Gift Shop while at the beach last month and the customer service was excellent! They did not have what we needed in our size so the manager,Julie, offered to order and ship it to us. She was extremely helpful and pleasant. The store has a large variety of anything Maryland and of course anything to do with crabs, if you haven't done so already you should definitely check it out! We also ate at the restaurant, and the crabs were some of the best we've ever had.“

“The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club: A Delightful Dining Experience Last evening, we had the pleasure of dining at The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club in Ocean City, Maryland. Our reservation was for 8:15 PM, and despite potential parking challenges, we found it surprisingly easy to find a spot. The restaurant’s recent remodel is evident as you walk up the stairs into the inviting dining area. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted at the hostess stand and seated immediately. We appreciated the choice between indoor and outdoor seating, and the variety of seating options available, from semi-circle couches to large arrangements for bigger parties. Our server was attentive from the start, quickly providing us with water, drinks, and menus. After a brief look at the menu, we received a thorough rundown of the evening’s specials. The noise level was perfect, allowing for a pleasant conversation, and the open-air setting provided a comfortable breeze. For appetizers, we chose the crab dip and crab deviled eggs. While both were enjoyable, the crab deviled eggs stood out as the better of the two. I also tried a drink called “Lost in the South,” a refreshing blend of lemon and bourbon that became my favorite part of the evening. For the main course, I opted for the boardwalk fries with a crabcake, a dish labeled as an Eastern Shore Maryland specialty. It was served with tartar sauce and met my expectations with its classic flavors. To finish off the meal, we each selected different desserts. The restaurant’s take on the Maryland Smith Island cake, a cookies and cream version, was a delightful surprise and possibly even better than the traditional version. I highly recommend trying it if it’s available. Overall, The Tide Room offers a wonderful dining experience with excellent service, a comfortable atmosphere, and delicious food. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ocean City.“

“On Monday, August 4th, we had a party of 18 for light fare dining and drinks. Our server, Nikki, was exceptional. Professional, accommodating, super nice and was so efficient. Our food was delivered timely and everyone was pleased with the quality and temperature of the menu items ordered. Not an easy task for such a large party and on a very busy night. “Hands down the BEST Italian meal we’ve ever had. We had Mozzarella in Carrozza, so delicious. My husband is a self-proclaimed veal snob and he said the veal Marsala was absolutely the best he’s had (and he’s had a lot fro over!) I had the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. The pasta was clearly made fresh and cooked perfectly. The bolognese was so flavorful but not heavy. Portions are refreshingly sized appropriately and so completely satisfying. Generally we’re not dessert eaters, mostly due to being overfilled by oversized portions. Ordering dessert from Ristorante Antipasti was a forgone conclusion. I don’t know which was better, the Chocolate Lover’s cake or the Vanilla Butter Cake. Been coming to Ocean City for years and this was our first visit to this restaurant and now tops the list of favorites. Loved everything about it, atmosphere was relaxed but elegant, met the owner who was delightful and appreciative. Highly recommend!!“

“It sounded like a fun place so my boyfriend and I went. But you have to only order from a scan QR code. So we asked a waitress if we could get real menus, we're old school. She was so sweet and helpful. She brought us menus, took our order, was very accommodating and friendly. You can't get much modifications though to your food, like If you dont want cheese.“
