“We were staying a few blocks away and found this place while walking the avenue. We went the night before leaving OC and were sorry we hadn't found it sooner or else we would have been back. The place was busy for a Saturday night, and we went about 5pm and were able to take advantage of the happy hour until 6pm. We were seated upstairs right away and had drinks and appetizers to start. the entrees came shortly after, and all was good! The server (Tenijah) was great! She had a great personality, a nice smile and checked on us the whole time we were there. She actually told us that she had only been there a couple of weeks, which we found hard to believe because she was excellent. She also told us that you are open all year .We will definitely be back.“

“As someone who has vacationed to OC three times. We have never been to a higher end restaurant before and had no idea what to expect. The added 20 percent was a bit confusing but the food was delicious, the staff was amazing and it was a great experience for sure. I definitely didn't expect to spend what we did but it was a once in a lifetime experience for us and it was worth it for sure!“

“Our third time there - always great! Our server Monica was terrific. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was a bit expensive but was great! I had two oyster shooters, my wife had a cherry lime aid crush - excellent. I had the scallops and my wife had braised short ribs. All cooked perfectly. We were given a nice choice of tables on the bay. Wife had the mud slide cake for dessert. Very yummy. Hard to find solid places to eat in OC. This one has held up quite well. Will be back again!“

My son and his father recently ate here while visiting Ocean City, and after he came back home to St. Mary’s County, we realized his phone had been left behind. When I called the restaurant, not only did they confirm they had it, but the manager, Johnny, immediately offered to send it back to us. He asked for my address and shipped it straight to our home — no charge, no hassle, no questions asked. In a world where good customer service is hard to find, this went above and beyond anything I could have expected. This level of kindness, honesty, and genuine care for customers is rare, and it speaks volumes about the type of people who run this restaurant. Even though we live hours away, they treated us like locals and family. Service was even better, the guy that seemed like the manager was pretty funny and helpful when the rain came in and we were outside.

He even started making ponchos for everyone from trash bags.

“We heard our favorite bartender Jen Lowe was back on Wednesdays night so we booked and extra night to be able to stop by the Shark to say Hello. Happy hour at the Shark is our favorite place to go while visiting the Ocean. This was night number 3 for us this trip and as always the food was delicious maybe better than in years past. Always fresh served hot and always with a warn friendly smile. It’s always good to go the a place that’s has a feel like “Cheer’s “ atmosphere. Where they greet you like family and make sure you leave happy and looking forward to your next visit. So visit the Shark the best food in all of Ocean City.“

“The man took me for my birthday the other day during happy hour around 4:30-5pm. The restaurant was super empty and we were there for about n hour in a half total and in that time only a few ppl came in to eat at the that time. Service was great. Our server was very on point and sweet and made sure we didn’t need for anything the entire time. The food was absolutely delicious!! The pretzel appetizer was sooo good! It’s the cheese it comes with that really makes it sooo good! And you get a small pitcher filled to the very top with the drink that you order! You definitely get your moneys worth! They also have a huge salt water tank that separates the dining area from the arcade area with a huge sheep’s head fish and three new baby sharks and some other little fish inside. I heard that for a dollar you can either feed the fish or they will feed them. I’m not 100% sure. The night I went was a Tuesday night and they had bowling that night on special. They have these smaller bowling lanes with smaller pins and little bowling balls that fit in the palm of your hand. About 6 lanes I believe. We went to do the bowling but after eating and drinking we were just too full. They have tons of arcade games including a really big 3D virtual reality game thing that actually looks really fun. The prices are very reasonable for a tourist town. Definitely a must go if you are ever in the area!! Totally worth it!!“

She carefully orchestrated each person's meal down to last minute changes and boxed desserts to go. She turned what could've been a disastrous evening into a wonderful and smooth dinner party. “The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club: A Delightful Dining Experience Last evening, we had the pleasure of dining at The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club in Ocean City, Maryland. Our reservation was for 8:15 PM, and despite potential parking challenges, we found it surprisingly easy to find a spot. The restaurant’s recent remodel is evident as you walk up the stairs into the inviting dining area. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted at the hostess stand and seated immediately. We appreciated the choice between indoor and outdoor seating, and the variety of seating options available, from semi-circle couches to large arrangements for bigger parties. Our server was attentive from the start, quickly providing us with water, drinks, and menus. After a brief look at the menu, we received a thorough rundown of the evening’s specials. The noise level was perfect, allowing for a pleasant conversation, and the open-air setting provided a comfortable breeze. For appetizers, we chose the crab dip and crab deviled eggs. While both were enjoyable, the crab deviled eggs stood out as the better of the two. I also tried a drink called “Lost in the South,” a refreshing blend of lemon and bourbon that became my favorite part of the evening. For the main course, I opted for the boardwalk fries with a crabcake, a dish labeled as an Eastern Shore Maryland specialty. It was served with tartar sauce and met my expectations with its classic flavors. To finish off the meal, we each selected different desserts. The restaurant’s take on the Maryland Smith Island cake, a cookies and cream version, was a delightful surprise and possibly even better than the traditional version. I highly recommend trying it if it’s available. Overall, The Tide Room offers a wonderful dining experience with excellent service, a comfortable atmosphere, and delicious food. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ocean City.“

“De Lazy Lizard has been a go to for us going on a decade for every Ocean City trip. The spectacular Bayside view just can't be beat. Some of the best ambiance for any OC restaurant we've seen. The menu has a good variety, the food was very well made and there is even a play area for the kids. We have never been disappointed and will continue to make it a staple of our summer vacation.“

“Hands down the BEST Italian meal we’ve ever had. We had Mozzarella in Carrozza, so delicious. My husband is a self-proclaimed veal snob and he said the veal Marsala was absolutely the best he’s had (and he’s had a lot fro over!) I had the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. The pasta was clearly made fresh and cooked perfectly. The bolognese was so flavorful but not heavy. Portions are refreshingly sized appropriately and so completely satisfying. Generally we’re not dessert eaters, mostly due to being overfilled by oversized portions. Ordering dessert from Ristorante Antipasti was a forgone conclusion. I don’t know which was better, the Chocolate Lover’s cake or the Vanilla Butter Cake. Been coming to Ocean City for years and this was our first visit to this restaurant and now tops the list of favorites. Loved everything about it, atmosphere was relaxed but elegant, met the owner who was delightful and appreciative. Highly recommend!!“
