“The best crab cakes I have ever had! No filler, all lump crab meat, and perfectly seasoned all throughout. Owners truly care about the quality of their food and take pride in excellent service. I would give a higher rating if I could. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!“
“Jordan was our wonderful server who let us know the deals happening which was very informative, he was funny, and very sweet. We weren't going to say anything but he Overheard we were here for our anniversary and brought us cake at the end! 5 stars thank you!!“
“Fantastic food and service! You can enjoy the beautiful view of the marina, come enjoy the sunset or listen to a music band in the summer. We’ve ordered the lamb lollipops, blackened garlic shrimp, hawaiian BBQ shrimp, Mahi fingers, lump crab imperial, Caribbean chicken quesadilla, sweet Asian sesame wings, vine-ripened tomato (which is a Caprese salad), the peppercorn-crusted steak and of course, the pie in a jar. A lot of food, I know, but we just LOVE showcasing local food on our Never Dunn Eating page on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.Everything was DELICIOUS! Such fresh, beautiful flavours, and wonderful service. Stacey was our server and was so kind and personable. We’ve also interacted with Kurt, the manager, and he was such a pleasant person. We can’t wait to come back!“
“We were here during bike week. We had 10 people at the house and everyone had a craving for a boil. The young folks at the steamers and counter were awesome, not the typical millennials. They were professional and fun to talk with. The wait was only a short bit and off to home. Everyone said it may have been the best meal the entire trip. We have a home a few miles away and We will be back. Best Pot on the Beach!“
“Honestly. In my experience, if you get a crab cake at most restaurants in OC, they are quite often mediocre ( there are exceptions). I find if you want a terrific, all lump, fresh, properly seasoned crab cake, there are two carry outs, Uptown eats on the north end and Captain's Galley on the south end that have excellent crab cakes. We live nearby and get food from Captain's Galley regularly. Excellent crab cakes. They also have delicious homemade (I assume) potato chips (think Thrashers), excellent Cole Slaw and their Mac and cheese is out of this world! Highly recommended!“
“Will probably turn into one of our gotos when in OC. Going to save the last star until we go back, but given our first trip, I'd expect next time they earn it. Great beer selection. Lots of original cocktails. Wood fired pizza oven.**Edit: We made 2nd visit and it was even better than first so giving 5th star. Great place for OC to have. We'll definitely be a frequent visitor...**Edit: We now come here EVERY TIME we visit OC. Every time....“
“After stumbling out of a nearby establishment leaving because of bad service. We looked up places for an afternoon beer and food. Found this amazing establishment, walked up the stairs and into the bar and instantly felt at home. Whole staff was topnotch instantly made you feel welcome. If I'm ever staying nearby again in OC, will definitely comeback!“
“Hands down, 5 Stars. We were greeted with a whole lot of cheer. The food and service was excellent. Definitely an experience I will never forget. I will return next time in town. Sending a referral to any of my friends that visit Ocean City. This is a must have dining experience.“
“Don’t be fooled by the humble appearance! This place has outstanding fresh seafood. We had a fantastic lunch served by a fun and friendly waitress. I highly recommend the shrimp sliders and the raw oysters! Another plus is the dog-friendly patio with outdoor dining.“
“We shared the delicious and meaty cream of crab soup. The shrimp cocktail was good but the cocktail sauce was nothing special. We also shared the rib eye which was perfectly grilled and the mashed potatoes and spinach were delicious. Our server was Anna and she was very pleasant and did a wonderful job. We were staying at the hotel and we were impressed.“
“This has to be one of the BEST Happy Hours in Ocean City. Multiple food options and great discounts for alcohol. We recommend going here. There is a quiet and relaxing environment on the main level. Upstairs is the open bar and lively area. The nachos were a great surprise and done differently than most places. Great caesar salad as well.“
“The food was okay. The atmosphere was great. They definitely need to Get organized. We walked into the place. 3 couples walked in in front of us, and it took us 15 minutes to put our names in and it was not that busy. What are the most important parts of a busy restaurant? Is greeting the customer and getting them on the list and moving them to the bar. Much of the staff seemed to be wandering around with no direction or half hazardly doing their jobs. One of the people at our table had dropped a fork, and we literally tried to catch the bus boy several times and he just walked right by us to the point where we had to go get our own. Walking back from the bathroom. A waiter placed a tray stand directly in front of me and placed a tray on it, cutting off the path to the point that I had to walk around half the restaurant to get back to my table. For the record, I have about 30 years front of house experience In an extremely high volume restaurant.“
“Caroline served us. She was amazing, knowledgeable, and efficient. We will definitely be back! I ordered the Boardwalk BLT with advocado and a fried egg, HUGE sandwich but it is so good, I returned the next morning for another! Definitely a place to return to. The restaurant sits on the boardwalk with panorama views of the ocean. Incredibly beautiful!“
“Shawn our bartender was awesome. He was friendly and attentive and made a mean Paloma. The food was good and fresh. We had the crab bisque and garlic muscles and Greek salad and calamari. Shawn was welcoming and made our visit very pleasant! We will come back.“
“RUN HERE! This place is CHEAP! Not cheap in a negative way. Cheap as in last minute trip tryna budgeting, picky eaters, multiple heads to feed type cheap! However let's not get this confused the food is freaking amazing! There's not many places that's I'll eat cold next day buffalo wings...BUT THIS PLACE OH MY THEY WINGS ARE BETTER THR NEXT DAY!“
“A nice local event, restaurant and bar. The staff were friendly. The food was delicious. The views were absolutely amazing. Fager’s Island is located one street over from the Marriott Residence Inn, and is a very easy walk. We went for lunch and drinks and sat at the bar. Even though we were there in March (way before the start of their tourist season) they were very accommodating. I would recommend you give them a shot.“
“me and my partner had the crab cake egg rolls and wings for appetizers and for our entrees he had the steamed shrimp and I had the deadliest steam pot. the food was great just a bit pricey and the service was a bit slow the restaurant wasn’t too busy either but we waited awhile for even our waters. would come back for the tasty food though!“
“I took my family and parents in law there as well as my wife's grandmother for our first time ever...We absolutely loved it ❤️ food came out nice and hot ,fresh foods were very fresh ,fried foods were fried to perfection ? ? and the sides were great with the exception of the old bay seasoned potatoe chips which were either over fried or old ,but since we did go there around the last hour they were open, I wouldn't say their chips aren't fresh all the time. In spite of the chips I would highly recommend this place for anyone hungry for any kind of seafood and if you like crab dips you need to try theirs, which comes with about 8-10 little baguette bread toasted perfectly. It was decadent!!!!Kid-friendliness: There was a high chair and even pictures for children to color and two crayons...“
“We visited here over the summer on a family vacation. The food was GREAT!The night we were there, I'm pretty sure the never of the waitstaff that we had was having a really bad day, as she dropped multiple plates on the ground and partially on patrons at another table. She also lost another table's credit card and it took far too long to find it. Watching the "show" definitely made the experience unique.Surely there was a full moon or something. My wife returned near the end of the summer season. Her experience that time was much less eventful, but equally as delicious!“
“Went to coins for the first time one 3/10 with my husband we absolutely loved it! Very cozy local feel lots of older customers. The service was great Angie was our server she was very sweet and took great care of us. We both ordered crab cake dinner which were amazing. We also had steamed shrimp as an appetizer and it was hands down the best steamed shrimp I’ve had in forever. Husband had Md crab soup and I had the blend which is cream of crab and md crab mixed it was amazing. We cannot wait to return.“
“I really enjoyed brunch today. The menu had so many interesting choices but I went with the beast burger. The burger was made with bison, elk, and wagyu meat. Cooked medium rare just the way I like. Topped with crab dip all on a great bun. I substituted the sweet potato fries for regular fries and the we are great.Service was great and I really enjoyed the views. I definitely will go back.“
“On the Bay Seafood is a seafood shack in Ocean City. Don't let the appearance fool you, this is some of the best seafood you can get in the area. The steamed shrimp and stuffed crab specials are great. I've been here a few times across a 10 year span and each time was great. They have been great for a long time. The prices are good and they serve a lot of people quickly.“
“This review was based on an off season visit for a cheer competition (Feb 25 2024). That being said, these were the best wings I had in the 3 days I was here, hands down.We visited 2 other well known pubs during our visit. 1st was Shotti's. The wings were good (k59 thai chili), but the fries were very dark, borderline burnt and we didn't care for them. That isn't a dig on Shotti's, but that's the second time we've been there and I don't think we'll be back.2nd was pickle pub. Staff was great, drinks were cheap, but food was so-so. Wings were also middle of the road (again Thai chili). The cheesesteak egg rolls were above average though. But Bourbon street's wings took the cake. This time Sriracha Lime, they were perfectly crispy outside and juicy inside without being underdone and still having good texture. My only complaint? No celery. Their fries are also great if not a little slaty.I'll come back to Bourbon St as I'll likely stay at the Holiday Inn Express attached to it, and I'll make sure to update any reviews associated ?“
“Important Details (entrees between 12-20$) GOOD: Food and value for it which is rare on this boardwalk which will take you to the cleaners. The service was also very good. Nice beach view too. BAD: Seating is a bit cramped and tight (if you're a bigger person) It gets busy quick, but it is a credit to the quality-value combo offered Bull on the Beach was an excellent experience. It is one of the few board walk restaurants that won't stab you with jacked prices and provides tasty quality too. The wings special (10$ for 8) rocks - and tasty too. My "Humpy Dumpty" sandwich (tender pit beef and eggs) was also excellent. Give BOTB a try. It's a major boardwalk standout.“
“As soon as my fiancé and I entered the restaurant we were properly greeted. The waitress answered his question about takeout and we sat at the bar to look over the menu. The staff at the bar were very pleasant and the young lady offered me a drink while we waited. I got a water with lemon and when it was almost gone she refilled it. We ordered our food to go and it didn’t take long at all. We were there for probably a total of 30 minutes. In and out. The other customers there were also very friendly, all complimenting my baby bump and being very polite. Whenever I come back to ocean city I will definitely revisit. The crab cakes, mashed potatoes, corn, quesadilla and fries were all delicious.“
“Great food and great service. We had the steam pot and some blue crabs and everything was near perfect! The crabs were fat and tasty! Highly recommended if you're looking for a laid back not on the board walk place to have crabs in Ocean City!“
“Unpretentious but don't overlook Layton's. Server Amy was on top of every aspect of our breakfast. Our group enjoyed scrapple, which isn't that common on menus anymore and don't miss the chipped beef. Prompt refills of coffee with creamers on the table and we were set for our morning on the boardwalk.“
“First time going here as Ocean 13. This location has been multiple titles over the years without any longevity, however I think they have finally found a winner. Went Saturday and enjoyed the NY Strip special with Brussels and risotto. Food was flavorful and cooked well. Our server(Jake) was also solid. Will be back to try their HH specials.“
“The whole idea of the place is great. The atmosphere is very cool and well thought out. The food.. yuck. I ordered the Mediterranean bread and had to force it down. The prizes are definitely better than other arcades and my kid had a good time. Conclusion: go there to play, not to eat.“
“Great food at a great price! We had six people in our party, we ordered 3 large and 3 regular bowls of pho. We had combination, meatball and rare eye round, flank and tendon, and tendon pho. We also had an octopus appetizer, a seaweed salad, and sesame balls. The food was nicely seasoned and it was served relatively fast. The server was nice, and the interior was nicely decorated. Really good restaurant, highly recommend.“
“Our first time trying Atlantic Stand on a very busy Saturday night. The service was outstanding - 3 young women running the counters and 3 young men cooking. The orders were taken correctly, charged promptly and delivered efficiently. All the food is made to order. The lines were very long but the orders were all executed correctly. The service was outstanding. A young lady AnnaMarie was running the counter when a customer was abrupt and quite noisy. She handled the situation graciously all while continuing to take orders, smile at other guests and prepare trays. Handled very smoothly with minimal fuss. The food was excellent- well cooked, exactly as ordered.“
“We dined at Nori's Sushi Place on New Year's Eve and had an amazing meal. The sushi rolls and sashimi were incredibly fresh and expertly made. We tried the spicy tuna, salmon avocado and specialty maki rolls - so many wonderful flavors! In addition to the excellent sushi, the service really impressed us. Despite the busy holiday night, our server was attentive, prompt and happy to offer recommendations.Nori's brought together delicious fresh sushi, a lively atmosphere and stellar service for a fantastic New Year's Eve dinner. We highly recommend it for sushi lovers looking for a great dining experience. We'll definitely be back soon!“
“One of the better places in OC for crab cakes. Not much in the way of atmosphere, but so what? And the prices are much more reasonable than some other local restaurants. So don't judge a book by it's cover. I hit PGN every trip to OC!Update: Went to OC in September. Went to PGN for dinner. Lump crab cakes were not very lumpy at all. Probably using a cheaper crab supplier. That being said, the crab cakes are ok, not good or great.“
“This was a really cool place. Tons of outdoor seating right on the water, seems very popular, and demographics covered young to old. Also got some killer sunset shots from the patio. I didn't try the food, but was warned it was pretty mediocre. Nevermind that - go sit outside, grab some drinks, and enjoy the view and the vibe.“
“Me and my husband visited this location while passing through. We were met with wonderful service and great food. We had a wonderful view of the water while we ate some fresh steak blue crab. I will say it was a little cold in the building, but other than that, wonderful experience!“
“We had the large classic crab cake, so delicious. It was all crab, best I ever had. We also had the waygu brisket, tender and seasoned perfect with a touch of BBQ sauce. We also had the waygu steak kebab, so good. French fries are fresh cut home made and the chips are as well. Great service, def will go back! I wish i liked bloody Mary's, they looked in incredible.“
“Such a friendly group of people, awesome outdoor seating, BYOB is an awesome plus, and THE FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. We enjoyed their wonderful crabs, oysters, and muscles but everything right down to the slaw and corn was perfection. Will be coming back :)“
“This is a review from Yelp that I had done a couple years ago but I wanted to share on here as well. We were staying at a nearby condominium and saw the restaurant sign as we drove by. We called (took a little time for someone to answer) and there was no wait so we walked over there. They were not too busy and they had the diners spaced out. The food and service were good.“
“What a great surprise in OC! Hotel restaurants can be hit or miss. This was a HIT!! Richard our server was fantastic!! What a great personality and had fantastic recommendations. The Mom’s Shrimp was so delicious!!! I could have eaten a vat of the sauce. All four of us really enjoyed our entrees and wish we had saved room for dessert. Next time for sure!“
“Typical Chinese carryout store front and no frills vibe. Prok mei fun with delicious, no greasy and perfectly cooked noodles! Szechuan wontons were very good with some added veggies. Not what I was expecting, I was hoping for a spicy sauce, but this was more of a sweet and sour which was delish and their homemade chili oil was the lifesaver! It was legit spicy and hot! I wish I would have asked for a second container!“
“We were walking down the street and found this restaurant / bar .. hopped in to see the ambience and it was great .. they had lots of tables inside to sit and dine and also a bar . They didn’t have too many ipa varieties on tap. Very few options on tap .. Margarita was good .. beer was ok . Light food was ok too. Very good service by the bartender. Overall it was a good experience..“
“Best crab legs we've had in OC! The staff was incredible. We got our food easily within 15 minutes and even though they were about to close, they still provided everything we needed to enjoy our meal. The price was amazing for the 3lb's of crab legs, cream of crab soup, and the tasty potato salad!! Thank you so much!!!!“
“Visited for lunch on the beautiful first weekend of November. The food was our favorite of the weekend and the view was incredible! Our server (forget her name I’m sorry but she had glasses) was funny and friendly, great service. We got the Chesapeake burger topped with crab dip and cheese and a bacon cheeseburger. Both were cooked perfectly medium. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve had. The balsamic greens were fresh and flavorful and the fries were crispy, hot and well seasoned. After we ate, we took a walk around to the dock and it was just breathtaking. I’m sure this place gets crazy crowded in peak season but we are grateful to have experienced it in off season in the peace and calm. We are so glad to have found this place and will definitely be back.“
“What a great bar to go hang out in! There were 3 of us and we had a lot of fun! It was nice to see clean-shaven bartenders who were very attentive and explained drinks on the drink menu that we had questions about. The apps were delicious ?. The band was great. We really enjoyed ourselves and will go back!“
“The staff was very nice and the food had a nice taste. I had the Assateague Chicken sandwich topped with crab dip which was tasty. Unfortunately the chicken was stringy, chewy and tough. The lady sitting next to me at the bar said the same thing about her chicken dish sandwich. She told me this was very unusual as she had eaten several times and the chicken was always good. I wish the bar server had asked me how the sandwich was and I would have shared my thoughts. I'd still go back.“
“Fried chicken is actually incredible. INCREDIBLE. Which is annoying when you're trying to get stuffed on the more expensive ACE items like the blue crabs, shrimp, or snow crabs. Haha. Little expensive. But a tradition and worth it. Go hungry.“
“Sometimes there are going to be hiccups in providing a great dining experience. We had one of these last night while dining at the Hobbit. Why a 5 star review then? The Hobbit provides an great view and wonderful atmosphere for a higher end dining experience. Luke was a fantastic waiter! Extremely attentive, engaging, and personable. The menu had some outstanding options and provided to be tasty. We ran into an issue with one of the dishes. The owner was highly engaged in resolving the situation and went beyond what we were expecting to demonstrate their commitment to providing a quality dining experience. I'll definitely be returning in the future based upon the overall normal experience that we likely would have had 999 out of 1000 times and how the Hobbit rose to the occasion on that 1 time when things did not go as expected.“
