“I was immediately drawn in by the bright pink decor inside and out, but it was the food that really sold me on this place. The menu is huge, which does make it hard to choose which delicious thing to go for. I love that they encourage sharing food as the portions are ginormous, which definitely helped me feel better about the higher price we paid for breakfast. “Sometimes there are going to be hiccups in providing a great dining experience. We had one of these last night while dining at the Hobbit. Why a 5 star review then? The Hobbit provides an great view and wonderful atmosphere for a higher end dining experience. Luke was a fantastic waiter! Extremely attentive, engaging, and personable. The menu had some outstanding options and provided to be tasty. We ran into an issue with one of the dishes. The owner was highly engaged in resolving the situation and went beyond what we were expecting to demonstrate their commitment to providing a quality dining experience. I'll definitely be returning in the future based upon the overall normal experience that we likely would have had 999 out of 1000 times and how the Hobbit rose to the occasion on that 1 time when things did not go as expected.“

“I knew this place was going to be good when they told me the wait. For it to be off season and the place be this packed I knew we were in for a treat.There were two open seats at the bar so we were able to be seated immediately. I had the Spritzer for myself. A strong choice for a morning beverage.We tried the crab deviled eggs from the specials and what a hit. Smooth texture and good amount of crab.I ordered the big wave with grits and sausage. Delicious. I’m always nervous about my pancakes and grits but they came out great. Pancakes were fluffy and the grits were cooked very well.My friend ordered the crab imperial omelette which they loved.All in all, service was good. Food was great and the drinks were strong. I'll get that again.My tablemates loved the (HH half-priced, I believe) burger as well as pronouncing the shrimp tacos to be "the best" ever eaten.My tablemate quite enjoyed the cream of crab soup. Plentiful portion, ample crab meat. (A step or two below The Narrows Restaurant on Kent Island, IMO. “Sunset Grille has an inviting marina side atmosphere. There is an expansive deck for outside dining. The staff is very attentive. My group ordered various crab appetizers... The crab dip is amazing, as is the cream of crab soup. The sauce on the crab imperial was broken, so it was more oily than creamy. The toasted ciabatta that accompanied the aps was warm and toasty. We ordered crab cake sandwiches. They were fine but not as good as some of the other local places in the area. The French fries are some of the best I've had. Super crisp outside and creamy inside. The pricing was what you would expect for fresh crab at the beginning of the season. The portions are generously sharable.Parking: Parking is just outside the front entrance. The lot is clean, landscapeed, and well maintained. There are plenty of spaces with numerous handicapped spaces.“

“My wife and I shared a pizza and wings. It was the perfect amount of food. The uncle Joe pizza was just fantastic, the pizza sauce and the meatballs had great flavor and highly recommended. “Great halal food! We tried this restaurant twice during our stay in OC. We got the mixed grill and chicken shawarma wrap. Both were very good! The wrap is well seasoned, and their white sauce is tasty. The rice is less seasoned, and the kababs were so good. Will visit again for sure!“

“Fast and courteous service, I saw some reviews about the Fish and Chips, the server recommended the other items first but then said that was a good choice too. I went with that and it was good. Except one thing, the fish was left in the fryer a tad longer than needed, both ends of the piece were overdone, as it is thinner. The middle was great but I would rather the whole piece be good. Plenty of fries, cole slaw was good too.“

“We were here on Sunday around 4pm. The place was half full and they also have tables outside that were full. They didn't have soft drinks on the menu, but we asked and a nice girl brought us pink lemonade. She also said that they have soda. I do not usually like French Toast, but this was incredible. Of course, covering perfectly cooked brioche French toast slices with Nashville Hot-sauced, tender, crispy chicken; stuffing it with cooked apples; then finishing it with a bourbon house-made whipped cream can be nothing else, but incredible. It is also one of the best chicken anything I have eaten. After eating breakfast at the Bad Monkey the day before, I was so pleased to find Surfside Rooster. I can not wait to come back to Ocean City, so I can try some of the other dishes here.“

“We had not been here in many years. The place has gotten even nicer than I remember. They have a very nice roomy outside and inside bar with plenty of seats. But get there early as they pack them in, even in the off season. The drinks are reasonably prices and food was awesome.“

“My wife, daughter, and I stopped by here for a dinner on our way from Philadelphia to Ocean City, MD, on a Saturday evening in December 2023. Although given the restaurant’s excellent reviews one would expect the place to be crowded on a Saturday evening, we were the only patrons at the restaurant that evening. This may have been because we were there on the 23rd of December, and the restaurant was closing down after that evening’s dinner. The experience of being the only three folks seated at the restaurant was a bit surreal, but it did make sense given the time of the year, and then later on we saw that almost as soon as we left the building, the staff brought the wreaths inside and started shutting the place down.Coming to the food, which is what one cares about the most at a restaurant, I had been following the restaurant’s Facebook page for a few days prior to our visit and was getting excited at seeing some of the specials that were being listed. During our visit, we ordered an appetizer from those specials – a beet salad with pan fried goat cheese, as well as an entrée – red wine and rosemary braised leg of lamb. The other entrée we got was from their regular menu – shrimp and grits – and finally for our daughter, we got the chicken tenders. The lamb was rich and flavorful and what shocked us was the price tag for that item at $22. I doubt I have ever seen a place, including food trucks not to mention sit-down places, offer that quantity of lamb for $22. For my wife for whom lamb is her favorite meat, this entrée proved to be an excellent choice. The shrimp and grits I had were nice as well, although a tad under salted. It came with a side of fresh veggies that were nicely done and flavorful. My daughter enjoyed her chicken tenders as well. The portion sizes were huge, and the chicken tenders had more fries than I ever recall seeing accompanying a kids’ meal!! Prices were reasonable enough that even with all of this food, plus a drink, and a fairly generous tip, the total came to $98.While the ambience of the place isn’t much to write home about, situated as it is in a generic nondescript shopping mall, we would happily come back to this place if we were in Ocean City again, attracted especially by their wonderful specials and great value-for-money.Parking: The restaurant is located in a nondescript shopping mall so parking is not hard to come by.“

“My husband and I celebrated his birthday at The Shark yesterday. We are West OC locals so we go the Shark often. I will begin by saying yesterday was fantastic - such fun! Clint and Mike are the most attentive bartenders & the atmosphere is comfortable with a beautiful view of the Harbor ... we are never disappointed. The food is delicious ... we always try whatever seafood is on the menu - yesterday I had Shrimp and Grits with sweet potato biscuits, WOW. So good. “My drinking friends and I found this place last summer after we left the bearded clam. We wanted some food and looked at their menu and went in side to try. They were so amazing there and personal. We had delicious orange crushes, and appetizers. Everything we had was wonderful crab dip, Everything crabcakes are good burgers, a good everything. The bartender was excellent and informative about the business. They ended up, giving us a bunch of bumper stickers and sent us on our way, and I definitely will be coming back.!!!“

“Belly Busters has been here for a long time. Any place in Ocean City that can stand the test of time is usually worth a try. Belly Busters is really, really good and so much fun to visit. It's tiny inside. The music is pumping. I only knew this as a sub shop but they have quite a selection of seafood also. They have beer on tap and by the can. Everyone was having fun including the employees. We had good food and a good time here. I will be back for more.“

“A nice local event, restaurant and bar. The staff were friendly. The food was delicious. The views were absolutely amazing. Fager’s Island is located one street over from the Marriott Residence Inn, and is a very easy walk. We went for lunch and drinks and sat at the bar. Even though we were there in March (way before the start of their tourist season) they were very accommodating. I would recommend you give them a shot.“

My son and I got the snow crab platter for 1 which contained 1lb snow crab clusters, half pound shrimp, 2 pieces of fried chicken and a side which we chose hush puppies of course lol. My boyfriend got the Chesapeake burger with house fries. All of it was delicious! And our total was $77 which I thought wasn't bad.“

“We have eaten at Embers before but wanted to come back for restaurant week. All of the staff are very nice...from the person that greets you and seats you to the waiter and the sommelier. Tanner and the sommelier (can't recall his name) were excellent!! The food was excellent!! The views/vibe are amazing. We will continue to spread the word about Embers. It has become an absolute must do when we are in OC (we travel at least 6x a year from OH). Thank you for the excellent service and experience.“

“I ended up being denied at another restaurant due to having a service dog. I called ahead too hooters, and the girl who answered was very helpful and double checked with a manager so I wouldn't be turned away again. They even appologized that I had to go through that, and said theyd be waiting for our arrival. We were greeted as soon as we went in and they even asked my service dogs name and got him a big bowl of icewater to enjoy while I ate. The food was good, service PHENOMENAL, and of course it was a wonderful atmosphere. We were able to enjoy our meal, and the girls even let me take a picture of my service dog with them. They all really went above and beyond to make sure not only I, but my service dog were very well taken care of. They played great music, and the girls were all very sweet especially our server. I will be back everytime im in Ocean city. It's great to see that they were not only educated in the laws of service animals, but went above and beyond to make our experience extra special. “This is a quirky little place to eat breakfast. The decor is 1980s odd. Menu is simple. I got a cheesesteak omelette and it was full of steak and really big and good. My wife got a ham, mushroom, and swiss omelette. It was a tad wet. Maybe from the ham. She enjoyed it. We loved the potatoes. They were like little 1" steak fries. I HATE hashbrown style so these were a plus. Place seemed clean and the lady helping us was very pleasant. It will be a go-to place for me for sure.“

The bar sits up high for great views and the stairs may be a little tricky for those who may become a little tipsy. It is a cool little place with easy Boardwalk access and a fun vibe. Do inform them if you don’t like honey in your avocado toast. One thing I missed was options for coffee, they only have regular coffee. If you request they can make fresh orange juice too! So don't judge a book by it's cover. I hit PGN every trip to OC!Update: Went to OC in September. Went to PGN for dinner. Lump crab cakes were not very lumpy at all. Probably using a cheaper crab supplier. That being said, the crab cakes are ok, not good or great.“
