“Honestly. In my experience, if you get a crab cake at most restaurants in OC, they are quite often mediocre ( there are exceptions). I find if you want a terrific, all lump, fresh, properly seasoned crab cake, there are two carry outs, Uptown eats on the north end and Captain's Galley on the south end that have excellent crab cakes. We live nearby and get food from Captain's Galley regularly. Excellent crab cakes. They also have delicious homemade (I assume) potato chips (think Thrashers), excellent Cole Slaw and their Mac and cheese is out of this world! Highly recommended!“
“Don’t be fooled by the humble appearance! This place has outstanding fresh seafood. We had a fantastic lunch served by a fun and friendly waitress. I highly recommend the shrimp sliders and the raw oysters! Another plus is the dog-friendly patio with outdoor dining.“
“My drinking friends and I found this place last summer after we left the bearded clam. We wanted some food and looked at their menu and went in side to try. They were so amazing there and personal. We had delicious orange crushes, and appetizers. Everything we had was wonderful crab dip, Everything crabcakes are good burgers, a good everything. The bartender was excellent and informative about the business. They ended up, giving us a bunch of bumper stickers and sent us on our way, and I definitely will be coming back.!!!“
“Went to coins for the first time one 3/10 with my husband we absolutely loved it! Very cozy local feel lots of older customers. The service was great Angie was our server she was very sweet and took great care of us. We both ordered crab cake dinner which were amazing. We also had steamed shrimp as an appetizer and it was hands down the best steamed shrimp I’ve had in forever. Husband had Md crab soup and I had the blend which is cream of crab and md crab mixed it was amazing. We cannot wait to return.“
“I had an amazing time at this restaurant. The food was amazing and didn’t take long to get the table after order somewhere around 10-15 minutes. I ordered the Hungry Monkey and did a small upcharge (I believe it was around $1) to change the pancakes to Cinnamonkey. The server was quick and attentive and made sure we didn’t need and more refills. The atmosphere was a little on the noisy side (you hear the murmurs from other conversations). Overall worth the go!“
“First time here from out of town. Came highly recommended. Loved it. We started with the famous pickle shots. OMG! Loved them! Jalapeño poppers were recommended by Jamie. Scrumptious. Followed by the pulled pork/mac and cheese pie that was recommended by the front desk of HoJos..yummy.Jamie was our bartender/wait person and she made us feel at home and couldn't have been more kind. “Nice place. Food was average and a bit pricey but it's OC so kinda expected that. My only real issue was the manager, she had a real bad attitude especially with the band playing in such a tight space. Nice crowd very friendly bartender. Personally I won't go back just because of the manager who was there on 9/16. Left a real bad impression on me“

“I wanted to commend the staff on the service tonight. Took my family here and even though they seemed a bit short staffed they all were working to get food out as quickly as possible. Unfortunately there was an issue with one of the items that we ordered which I had to point out. The young lady at the front and what I'm thinking was the manager on duty at the grill quickly replaced the entire order to make things right. They turned what could have been a negative review into a positive experience.“

“We had an outstanding experience at The Reel Inn! We’ve been coming here for years, but this year the food has been absolutely outstanding! Such a difference! We’ve been coming back more often, because the service is outstanding, the food is great and the atmosphere is awesome! I’ve been getting the crabcake with shrimp and it is now my go to. The potatoes are done perfectly and seasoned just right. The squash and zucchini medley is perfect as well! The breadstick was so soft and done just right. Will definitely be back as this is one of our favorite restaurants in Ocean City, Maryland. This place is getting busier and busier so I would definitely call ahead for seating.“

This place is spacious with ample TV screens for watching seasonal sports etc and the signature surfing is on the main screen above the bar. Looking forward to a second visit in the near future.Parking: Not enough parking for size of restaurant but there is an overflow lot next door so look for that and you should be fine.“
“Visited for lunch on the beautiful first weekend of November. The food was our favorite of the weekend and the view was incredible! Our server (forget her name I’m sorry but she had glasses) was funny and friendly, great service. We got the Chesapeake burger topped with crab dip and cheese and a bacon cheeseburger. Both were cooked perfectly medium. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve had. The balsamic greens were fresh and flavorful and the fries were crispy, hot and well seasoned. After we ate, we took a walk around to the dock and it was just breathtaking. I’m sure this place gets crazy crowded in peak season but we are grateful to have experienced it in off season in the peace and calm. We are so glad to have found this place and will definitely be back.“

“This place is always packed, so we stopped in to try it. The burgers are absolutely amazing! I would go so far to say it was the best burger I've ever had. If I'm not wearing some of my sandwich, then it wasn't good, and these were dripping. I believe it was two quarter pound patties, so it was a big burger. The restaurant is clean, and the service was excellent. My only complaint is the high top tables have very small seats that we kept sliding off. We moved to a regular table with bigger chairs and the problem was solved. The prices are reasonable and the portions large. I'm looking forward to going back.Parking: Limited street parking“
