“We dined at One Coastal over the weekend. We had four people in our party and everyone ordered a different item on the menu. Food was fantastic! I enjoyed a simple pasta dish that was the most delish meal I’ve had in years. I shared with everyone at the table and everyone loved it. My husband had the pork chop and reported that it was delicious. My daughter had the scallops and said they were perfect. Her boyfriend had the flank steak and it looked terrific. But my pasta was PERFECTION!“

“What a great place to eat and enjoy the scenery! We visited on a Thursday afternoon/evening during the off season (October) so, it was likely a little quieter than what it may be on other days. The interior of the restaurant was very spacious despite the tables being kind of small for the 4 of us. Loved the decor and the overall ambiance and aesthetic of the place. It was overall very inviting and fun. The exterior patio area was also very spacious and it is right on the water so the scenery was beautiful!

The service was impeccable! I believe our waitress’ name was Layla and she could not have been more pleasant, quick and efficient , clear and concise, very professional and just a pleasure to have wait on us!

The food… mine was absolutely delicious!! I had the seared spicy tuna on crispy rice and it was divine! It was honestly better than I had even anticipated and I will definitely get it again in the future! My mother got the boom boom shrimp and although we both liked it she did complain that it was just a little too greasy for her taste (but we all have different tastes). I will say it could have used just a little more sauce but also I believe had we asked for a side of it we could have gotten that and been perfectly fine. My step-father got the shrimp salad sandwich which he stated he really enjoyed and would definitely get again in a return visit. However, he was a little sad to see that it came on a burger bun when he though it was supposed to have come on a Kaiser roll. My grandmother got the French onion soup and said it was also very good but she complained that there were too many onions (it’s onion soup lol not sure what she expected 😂) but none the less she really enjoyed it and just shared the onions. The muffins (coconut and blueberry) and raisin bread that were provided for the table upon arrival were delectable! They were a perfect little treat to start the meal off! The only other thing that had us a little disappointed was that our entrees did not come with a choice of side/s although I am sure we could have asked, it would have cost more. I thought it was a bit strange that they didn’t come with at least one side that was included in the price of the meal. Don’t get me wrong we all left full and happy but for the cost, it was a bit surprising. As a side note, I got the best mango margarita I think I’ve ever had!! Definitely can’t wait to return here and would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food, great views and wonderful service!! Thanks so much!!“

“Service great. Sticky bun was a bit dry. Pancakes were good, but mangos, peaches and pineapple are from a can so not the best fresh fruit. Garbage plate omelet is good, lots of vegetables and meat. The home fries are sliced potatoes. Fast with coffee and teas. Lots of pastries available and wish we had room to try more.“

“My husband and I had a great breakfast experience, just a few minutes ago!! Great food - not a bunch of hoity-toity “foodie” fare - just simple dishes, sides, and combos that are prepared perfectly. Sahara Cafe is, now, on our “must visit” list! Staff is very friendly and super efficient. The cafe is homey and traditional, reminiscent of restaurants from my youth - that great diner feeling. Let’s talk about that giant cup o’ Joe… delicious, hot, and the size of a “FRIENDS” cup!! What?! Not having to wait for multiple refills?! That’s right. “Rhino Chasers, Ahi Guac, Vermicious Knid pizza. Would I recommend. Absolutely. So good. The portions are generous. We finished the fries and gauc, and could only down one slice of pizza. So full. And the happy hour Sangria was wonderful as well. Glad I finally got to try this place. Go early for immediate seating.“

“My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here as we were a Veteran family invited to Bethany Beach with Operation SEAS the Day. Words can’t express our gratitude of the wonderful dinner that we had. The outdoor patio is beautiful and romantic. We both ordered the ribeyes and they were delicious, juicy, and tender. The crab dip was the best I have ever eaten. We loved the cream of crab and French onion soups. The servers were friendly and took very great care of us. “On Monday, August 4th, we had a party of 18 for light fare dining and drinks. Our server, Nikki, was exceptional. Professional, accommodating, super nice and was so efficient. Our food was delivered timely and everyone was pleased with the quality and temperature of the menu items ordered. Not an easy task for such a large party and on a very busy night. “My family and I frequent Bethany Beach each summer and Bethany Blues has become one of our absolute favorites. We typically order carry out but this most recent trip we decided to dine in and I wanted to write this specifically in regards to that experience. Everything was delicious, they were super busy but we still got our food quickly and correctly which is always a plus. The manager for the evening came around when our waiter informed him that someone in our party had a gluten intolerance. The manager came over and was so friendly, and knowledgeable about every item on the menu and exactly which items and sauces contained gluten and which did not. For someone to take this extra time and attention for something that at other restaurants is commonly overlooked meant so much to us, we wanted to be sure to recognize and give credit where credit was due. Thank you and we will absolutely be back on our next trip down! ☺️“

“Happy Jacks is absolutely the best breakfast restaurant anywhere and they have the most amazing staff and food. We never go anywhere else and it's even better now that we live here. My son, Woody has Down Syndrome, and as parents you always worry how he will be treated, well I can tell you from the very first time we walked into Happy Jacks he was treated with respect and true affection. He now knows all the staff, for his birthday then brought him his pancakes with a candle and they sang to him. And one of the waitresses is his Bff and they spend time together outside of her work. It truly is a family affair.“
