Sahara Cafe is, now, on our “must visit” list! Staff is very friendly and super efficient. The cafe is homey and traditional, reminiscent of restaurants from my youth - that great diner feeling. Let’s talk about that giant cup o’ Joe… delicious, hot, and the size of a “FRIENDS” cup!! What?! Not having to wait for multiple refills?! That’s right. Words can’t express our gratitude of the wonderful dinner that we had. The outdoor patio is beautiful and romantic. We both ordered the ribeyes and they were delicious, juicy, and tender. The crab dip was the best I have ever eaten. We loved the cream of crab and French onion soups. The servers were friendly and took very great care of us. This restaurant is must if you are in town, we will definitely come back when we return to Bethany Beach.“

Then "eye opener" w/ meat (2 eggs over, home fries, and a ton of bacon!) $14.99. I had the creamed chip beef w/ home fries $14.99. Both servings of home fries and of bacon were very generous!! Dryden, our server, checked on us regularly and kept our coffee hot and full. Food came fast, hot and well presented. Out total bill, before tax and tip was $40.94 for to full tummies!!!! “We came here two days in a row because it was such a great spot. It happened to be gorgeous both days so we sat out in the back patio, which was so pleasant! No wait on either day but both times it was a bit of an early dinner, think 5:00 pm. I can't vouch for lunch time or normal dinner time. The inside was fairly full and a bit noisy but the patios were open and quiet. The decor is new and clean and fun, the landscaping is great, the parking lot is huge, facilities were clean, the staff are so nice and service was great. Wait time for food was totally fine, drinks and water flowed in the interim. The food was great! Really tender burgers, loaded nachos, a massive and delicious birria burrito, expertly cooked fish, good clean rib-sticking food, not over-seasoned or fancified, and well-priced; I don't have a single complaint. We don't live in town but we'll be back every single time we visit the beach.“

“As a local, I can tell you that Polock Johnny’s is a must-visit for anyone coming to the boardwalk, but it’s also a spot I’m proud to return to time and time again. It’s one of those places that never disappoints, whether you’re a tourist or a year-round resident like me.

The Polish Sausage? Hands down the best on the boardwalk. They’re always hot, delicious, perfectly seasoned and piled high with all the toppings you would want. I’m a big fan of the funnel cakes but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The mozzarella sticks are fantastic too—crispy and golden on the outside, juicy and cheesy on the inside. It’s the perfect mix of comfort food with that classic Ocean City vibe.

What I really love about Polock Johnny’s is the consistency. Whether it’s the middle of summer or a chilly fall afternoon, the quality never wavers. The staff is always friendly, and the service is fast, which is great when you’re trying to enjoy the boardwalk without waiting in a long line. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like a local, even if it’s your first visit.

Peyton was so fantastic as a server the first night we decided to go back the next night and specifically ask to be sat in her section. He asked for my address and shipped it straight to our home — no charge, no hassle, no questions asked.
