“One of the places open during the offseason, nice bar inside with very warm and welcoming dining room. There is outside dining if the weather's nice. Great selection of cocktails and mocktails and beers. The east coast old fashioned was delicious. They had a soup special for St Patrick's Day which was lamb and corned beef and vegetables and potatoes etc which was very good. The Mediterranean scallops were tasty as well. The seafood bucatini was creamy and delicious and the seafood very fresh tasting. Cooked perfectly as well especially the scallops. All the other meals everyone said were good, the steak was cooked perfectly and everyone left full and happy. Service was wonderful, friendly, and enjoyable.“

Happy hour at the Shark is our favorite place to go while visiting the Ocean. This was night number 3 for us this trip and as always the food was delicious maybe better than in years past. Always fresh served hot and always with a warn friendly smile. It’s always good to go the a place that’s has a feel like “Cheer’s “ atmosphere. “The service was great, the food was great, period. Other places should take notes, this is how an oyster fritter sandwich is done. It was light and crispy with plenty of oysters. The fritter takes up the whole slice of bread. This sandwich is a good deal at $12. I have to warn you though, get there early, they sell out pretty quickly and when you try one, you will understand why. If you love oysters, give this place a try. You won't regret it.“

My son and his father recently ate here while visiting Ocean City, and after he came back home to St. Mary’s County, we realized his phone had been left behind. When I called the restaurant, not only did they confirm they had it, but the manager, Johnny, immediately offered to send it back to us. He asked for my address and shipped it straight to our home — no charge, no hassle, no questions asked. In a world where good customer service is hard to find, this went above and beyond anything I could have expected. This level of kindness, honesty, and genuine care for customers is rare, and it speaks volumes about the type of people who run this restaurant. Even though we live hours away, they treated us like locals and family. “We stopped at Reel Inn on a whim because the weather was too beautiful not to sit outside, and it ended up being our favorite meal of the trip! Tucked bayside in the Harbour Island Association complex, the vibe was lowkey with a gorgeous view. Our server Natalie was super friendly, and everything we ordered was excellent, the mozzarella sticks were classic but perfectly cooked, the Assawoman combo (scallops, shrimp, and tuna bites) was outstanding, the chicken sandwich had amazing sauce, the fries were hot, the coleslaw was delicious, and the drinks were great. Truly a wonderful night, and we’d absolutely go back.“

“My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here as we were a Veteran family invited to Bethany Beach with Operation SEAS the Day. Words can’t express our gratitude of the wonderful dinner that we had. The outdoor patio is beautiful and romantic. We both ordered the ribeyes and they were delicious, juicy, and tender. The crab dip was the best I have ever eaten. We loved the cream of crab and French onion soups. The servers were friendly and took very great care of us. This restaurant is must if you are in town, we will definitely come back when we return to Bethany Beach.“
