We had the same server last few times and as soon as we sat down he said, so sorry but the we’re out of the Yukon mashed…which is an excellent side we always get. We cried lol So we chose a different side. Our server comes back little while later with Yukon mashed Mia must’ve either just made for us or scraped from the pan 😂 So very nice!! “I went in tonight a little after closing and the guys were cleaning up. I asked if they wer3 closed and was told yes. When I asked if anyplace else sold lobster roll Will politely said he didnt know of any place. And was kind enough to make is 2 lobster rolls after closing. Delicious and generous portions. Thanks Will. We had a long day and this was the perfect ending after getting everyone settled in for the night.“

“Up front, I have to say I am biased about L.H. in Cape May, lol. I LOVE this place...partly for its oldskool vibe, the perfectly prepared Lobster every time, the amazing fresh yummy bread, & their stewed tomatoes. I have heard people say they were not impressed...but if anything is ever imperfect for me, its been some of the people working there. As a handicapped individual who uses a mobility scooter, I find some people are not as accommodating as others and their disdain of my condition gives them a resting B face. I'm sorry my handicap ♿️ makes them feel uncomfortable. I don't mind being relegated to an obscure corner as long as my food is wonderful and it always is. My last visit was extra nice...a woman steered me in the direction of the larger ladies room in the back, where although that DR was closed, I was allowed use of it. Sooo much easier than the front LR. Maybe the staff is getting nicer. I think most of the time, this place is hopping!!! Which can sometimes make employees stressed, so I give them that. I have had lovely experiences & not-so-much....but always, my food is awesome!“

“If you ever picked up a seashell on the nearby shores so pristine it's shocking how everyone else overlooked it, you understand what it is to eat at Fish and Fancy. Nestled in the Villas, the exterior's understated quaintness might make it easy to drive by at first. The portions are large, the food is fantastic, and the employees are always so polite. While I will miss the mac and cheese they served during lent, if you're grading a restaurant on their sides then you haven't been to a restaurant with a good main dish. With flavors on par with (or better than) some waterfront restaurants, they sell you on the dish itself and are able to keep their prices very competitive. I've never eaten there, only taken out, so I can't speak on behalf of their dining quarters. But I'm sure it's more than adequate.“

“Charming restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food. The menu has traditional dishes and comfort food. I loved how cozy the dining area was with plush booths and etched glass. I came here specifically for The Crab Au Gratin, something I rarely see on menus these days. I highly recommend pairing it with pasta in a butter garlic sauce. My husband said the fish and chips were excellent and we just came back from the UK. They had a nice kids menu and my son enjoyed the fried shrimp. The pricing was reasonable for a shore town. It's located between stone harbor and cape may. We'll return again!“

“My husband and I have been visiting Cape May for years now, and we cannot understand how we waited this long to stop in the Oyster Bay Bar & Restaurant for dinner. We spent a few weeks in the area this year and had meals at the Oyster Bay Bar three times!! From our first visit, we felt so incredibly welcomed beginning with a nice chat with the hostess as we waited for our table. Just from that brief chat during our first visit, the same hostess greeted me by my name on our 2nd visit. I’m embarrassed to say that I cannot remember her name, but I will say that she was incredibly lovely and personable. Our server, Bobby, who took care of us on both our first and last visits, had a wonderful personality, sharing some tidbits with us of the history of the restaurant and with being local to the area, answered some of our questions about the holiday season in Cape May. Now, about the food…with each visit we tried something new and found each meal to be delicious and satisfying. Our favorite appetizer, which we had on all three visits, was the charbroiled oysters. Absolutely delightful!! The mix of the Parmesan cheese in the garlic butter….so very good!! My husband and I always like to do something special on our last night of vacation…and you guessed it, the Oyster Bay Bar was our choice for dinner! The lovely hostess greeted us once again and mentioned to the owner, Gary, that this was our third visit and that we chose this restaurant as our last dinner on vacation. Gary stopped by our table, after sending a complementary round of drinks to us, and spent time speaking with us. Knowing we were tossing the idea of a return visit during the holidays, he gave us his personal cell phone number to reach out to him for not only restaurant reservations but also if we had any other questions regarding the holiday visit. Never before, have I encountered such genuine kindness and graciousness in a visit to a restaurant establishment. I cannot stress to all who take the time to read this review that you most definitely must stop in the Oyster Bay Bar & Restaurant for a meal. You will not be disappointed. “I have used Lucky Bones’s Eric three times in the last five years for catering parties at my home/in my yard. Twice I also booked waitresses with my party. The food is always delicious, the service reliable. We ran out of chicken tenders for the kids once and they brought over a new batch! Everything is set up as ordered and arrives on time. You can’t go wrong with them for your party. My father’s small after-funeral reception was in their back room and my husband and I eat at the restaurant at least once a month. Highly recommend.“

Our first Experience and 2nd we had the pleasure of having “Niki” and truly we could not ask for better service than she offered,her tone,her understanding and the way she treated my toddler is immeasurable and the small details that were paid attention to were not found in other establishments we tried. I hope she knows how valued and appreciated she is by our family! We stopped in for one last meal before heading back to MD and we were cared for. A waitress I don’t re call a name but long curly hair,and a smile that lit up a room and was welcoming,her table side manner was fantastic she joked with us and also treated my daughter remarkably well where again other establishments frowned upon her questions or acted as she wasn’t talking. Furthermore,Noticing the whole atmosphere was a fantastic vibe, Everyone was smiling and working as a team. Can’t wait to return !“

Went Friday night they were able to accommodate our party of 13 very easily. Ordered a few different starters for the table. my friend loved the raw oysters and bang shrimp. We enjoyed everything from crab cakes to grilled chicken to the Halibut special and the ribs. We all enjoyed our meals and will most definitely be back again!“

The Christmas decor was festive and put us all in the holiday spirit. The food was delicious and the wait service was courteous and very efficient. But the highlight of our visit was the entertainment you shared with us. Singing Christmas carols, old time favorites and of course the very funny jokes you told. “Local neighbors have been recommending the Blue Water Grille for some time now, so I decided to give them a try tonight for dinner. Upon walking into the restaurant, I was greeted by a pleasant hostess and brought to our table.

After pursuing the dinner menu as well as the Saturday Night Specials menu, both my dinner partner and I started with the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer. We were pleasantly surprised to receive 6 large scallops completely wrapped in bacon and cooked to perfection. It's hard to keep a juicy, tender scallop yet have perfectly crispy bacon.

For our dinners, we ordered the Ribs Special both with the Maryland Crab soup du jour, a baked potato, grilled asparagus for him and brandy carrots for me. These were some of the best ribs I've had outside of a BBQ restaurant. I could not believe how large the portions were despite the price of $20.
