One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Fries were excellent too.
I mean it's bar food, right? Well, actually, it's bar food with a flavor bomb to your palate. Exceptional.
I wait all year to come back here. That chicken dish is in the top ten of all time. The staff is so great. Drinks and wine list are chosen with care. Truly one of the best chefs in the Northeast.

Mayer's Tavern offers a pleasant dining experience with attentive staff, a full bar, and a cozy atmosphere. While some may find the presentation lacking, the restaurant provides good value for its price, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal near the water in Cape May.
