Tisha's Fine Dining

We are longtime customers of Tisha’s for many years. We had dinner this evening and their menu and service never ceases to amaze us. We’ll be back again in December for the Christmas holidays and will book our reservations tomorrow. Thanks to the chef and wonderful staff, especially Cat.

I can't say enough about our experience. Great service and excellent food. The halibut was the best I ever had. Scallops and chicken parm were also favorites among the table. We'll definitely be back.

Cape May Peanut Butter Co.

I absolutely love this place. Everything I have is delicious. I have had the peanut butter cups, the super large peanut butter cups, The cookies, but my absolute favorites are the peanut butter nonpereils, peanut butter cookie dough peanut butter, and the peanut butter marshmallow.

George's Place

George's never disappoints! From the service to the food and atmosphere, it's all always extremely enjoyable. I can't pick a favorite meal to have at George's because they're all so good. I highly recommend stopping in for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to experience the deliciousness and the beautiful view as well.

Out There Coffee

I live in Brooklyn and have the best coffee at one's disposal so one must compete. At Out There Coffee they exceed my expectation while it is always my favorite time in Cape May. Just overall top coffee for a reasonable price and upbeat vibe always. Thank you.

Secondo Panicos

I'm a fan. Like this restaurant and sister restaurant in Cape May (Panico). Went on Tuesday night with Mom. 6:45 resos. Arrived at 6:30, as per the usual routine - they asked that we move to the bar until our seating at 6:45. I get it, but would have preferred to sit right away (tables available) while not making my 89 year old mom wait in the bar. No big deal, she rolled with it, got a strawberry margarita and off we went. We ate like kings - food is always top notch. Ordered from the menu, but the specials were tempting and we caved on their version of clams casino. What we got was two huge deviled clams on scallop shells. Different, but very good. Dinners were the veal with crab and the chicken cutlet rigatoni / vodka sauce. Terrific. I've sent no less than a dozen friends and family there ... it's not to be missed.

Hot Dog Tommy's

This is the place! If you are in Cape May and are hungry, want to chat it up with some locals and meet Tommy (which I had the pleasure of) then this is the spot to go to. After being in Cape May for a few days and getting some poor quality food at other restaurants, I decided it was time for a hot dog, not usually what I crave for but I always saw a line and it looked like a chill spot. I should have gone there from the start! It was awesome! The food was great, hot dog with mashed potato on top sounded odd but I figured why not and I very much enjoyed it. Tommy came out to talk to me and was such a cool and nice guy that he offered us a bag of fries just because. A great place to eat and hang out. Very much recommend this place.Parking: There is plenty of paid street parking within a 5 block radius and the streets are small and nice to walk around.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu.

Peace Pie

Peace Pie of Cape May made some good looking and delicious tasting ice cream sandwiches. The exceptional cookie crust was crispy and buttery. The pecan pie filling has me wondering if I could concoct an at-home ice cream topping this delicious. The vanilla ice cream was better than grocery store grade, but not quite as good as my favorite parlor. Overall I'd say 4.5, rounded to 5, because the cookies themselves are binge-worthy and the server was a nice young man.

Iccara Italian Bistro

Looked at reviews for an hour trying to find a restaurant. Wow..Lobster pasta, my wife had sea bass. Absolutely fantastic!!!Price reasonable for a tourist eatery. Never know what to expect. We'll be back again. Think the waiter was marka,perfect for this place

Backstreet Simply Delicious

Had been wanting to go here for a long time and was not disappointed. Food was excellent! Everything we had was delicious: bread, appetizers, main course and dessert. Staff friendly and polite. Looking forward to going back again.

Primal by Mia….WOW!!! It was amazing! My husband got the Tuna Tartare app and said it was amazing! The bread, oil and pesto were perfect! I really enjoyed the salad they gave us after apps. The Tomahawk steak and filet minon with lobster tail were delicious…cooked perfect!! The chimichurri sauce tasted so good with the steak!!! We also added the truffle Yukon mashed potatoes and fryer peppers as sides…yum! Then they brought us a raspberry tart, I think it was rasberry mouse, with key lime whipped cream and a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie. I would have never ordered something like that…not my thing but I tasted it and couldn’t stop eating it!! ? Our waiter was great, explained the menu, the dishes, spaced out our courses, and kept our wine and water glasses full. Didn’t fell rushed, loud or crowded. Exceeded my expectations!! I can’t say enough. We’ll be back!

First our server was incredible! I wish I could remember his name. The food was next level. Presentation taste. Everything perfection. He was a busy holiday weekend. We had to wait 30 minutes. Well worth the wait! I wait an hour to eat here. We will come back to Cape May and we will visit Graba again.Dietary restrictions: Server was told about my lactose intolerance. La La Lobster Cape May

I got dinner here once and then went back the next night - it is that good! The lobster tastes super fresh and they give really generous portions. I also appreciated the variety on the menu. The lobster bowl is a really hearty meal, and the lobster mac n cheese is perfectly creamy.

Oyster Bay Restaurant & Bar

We dined at Oyster Bay last weekend and had a great experience. Service was spot on. The food was delicious. We started off sharing a tasty seafood imperial over crostini. The grouper encrusted with chorizo was light and flavorful, and the andouille and seafood jambalaya was awesome.We highly recommend this place & hope to return back when in Cape May.

Washington Inn & Wine Bar

Wonderful meal as always! The escargot was amazing; my husband and I both enjoyed it. We have it as an appetizer every time we visit the inn! Our friends had the melt in your mouth filet mignon. My husband had the lamb caveteli and I had the chopino! The chopino was great as always and my husband enjoyed the lamb! Can't wait to visit again!!

We have eaten here numerous times, and it has always been a delicious and delightful experience. The food is consistently delicious, and very well plated... and the servers have always been so professional and courteous! We will keep coming back again and again!

Union Park Dining Room

Outstanding food. Always reliable, but this time it was absolutely wonderful. Delicious lamb, wonderful crab cake. The chef has kicked it up a notch. The fixed price menu had plenty of choices.

This is not your average breakfast, this place has taken brunch to another level. We enjoyed everything we tasted but the blackened shrimp and lemon blueberry pancakes were the best.

Exit Zero Filling Station

one of the most unique places i had the pleasure of trying during my vacation. the outdoor seating with the gas station style decor was cute and something i’ve never encountered before. the menu was just as unique with casual bites spiced with an ethnic flair. i had the mega tots as well as the crispy wings flavored general tso’s style. the wings were slightly cold and a little less crispy than imagined but still flavorful. the mega tots were delicious but felt slightly lacking in the portion size. definitely a good place to stop by for a quick bite.

Ebbitt Room

My fiancé and I had a wonderful dinner at the Ebbitt Room. We were taken care of with world class service by our waiter, Sergiu, and the food was amazing.We will definitely be back!Thank you!

Yozu Sushi

We had a great time here for a birthday, our hibachi chef was awesome he made sure all the kids in our party had a great night, had everyone laughing & the food was great too. We had a big party and a reservation but waited a little after arriving. Good and service were worth it though.

Lucky Bones Back Water Grille

I don't know why people waste their time going to the lobster house when this place is so much better. We had the fire shrimp, the scallops with bacon and one of their specialty pizzas and everything was perfect. The wait staff were attentive and knowledgeable and the drinks were spot on. Only sorry we were here for such a short time because I would love to eat here again and again.

Jardin At The Hugh

I just saw that Jardin only had three reviews, one of which was a one star review (poor representation of this amazing restaurant). I felt obligated to write a quick review because my experience was every bit a five star experience. My wife and I went for our anniversary, booking our reservation months in advance. The dining experience is extremely intimate, only a small handful of people are allowed at once. This isn't the type place you decide to grab dinner on the fly, it's the type of place you look forward to for weeks/months. The menu changes based on what the chef has available to him. Our menu was a vegan one and I'm a big time meat eater... steak houses are my #1 choice. Obviously I was skeptical after reading the menu (9 courses picked by the chef nightly) but I was blown away! The dishes were all amazing and had be wondering how they pulled of all the amazing flavors. If you're looking for an amazing dining experience and you're open to trying new dishes make a reservation asap.

The Mad Batter Restaurant & Bar

A very busy, bustling, Loud but Fun place that serves great breakfast food & good coffee! My bacon & eggs, w/Yummy onion/green pepper home fries, and Toast was delish! Blueberry Pancakes were a bit dense, but husband made them disappear! Almond/ Orange French Toast was good, as were Pecan Waffles! Would go for that next time with a side of Fresh fruit & berries! ?

The Cricket Club

Overall a good experience!We chose this place because they had a sushi appetizer on the menu (in a town that has no real sushi options at all). Had to fulfill that craving. We also heard about this place on the tourist trolley tour, so decided to give it a shot.We started with the spicy tuna appetizer. It was not that spicy and the rice was a little under cooked + needed rice vinegar…..The spicy tuna was definitely edible with enough lemon ?. Our waitress brought out the equivalent of two full lemons, which was deeply appreciated.Then we moved onto the burger and short rib fries. These two dishes completely redeemed the starter, and knocked it out of the park.They put a LOT of short rib on the dish which was extremely tasty and tender. The burger was a 10/10 and cooked to perfection. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in town.

Blue Moon Pizza

I don’t know HOW they are only getting 3.9 Stars! What?! This place has one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It seriously takes me back to childhood. I had the spinach the spinach pizza and I could literally eat it every day. Outstanding! I can’t wait to come back!

Ristorante A Ca Mia

Top notch service and cuisine in old world Italian atmosphere. We came here by chance after another spot that was recently sold did not have the reservation the old owner said he would pass on. We lucked out on a Saturday night and it was a surprise find. Try this lovely BYOB. The antipasta for 2 was fresh and delicious and large enough for 4 and the tomato and mozzarella salad was large enough for 2. We loved the veal parmigiana and the chicken parmigiana as well as the salmon. The portions were large and we took home our leftovers. We will be back.

Brown Room At Congress Hall

We had a wonderful weekend at the Congress Hall hotel. Opted for an ocean view room which overlooked the great lawn. We loved being able to hear the music outside in the evenings and sat on our patio enjoying it. The service was top notch in the hotel and at the beach. They make everything easy for their guests.

The Pier House

Nothing but great things to say about my experience at The Pier House. Sara was one of the most pleasant servers I’ve ever encountered. I appreciated her knowledge about the menu, hospitality, and kindness. Food was top notch- the crab tower app and fresh catch of the day were absolutely delicious. Establishment was very clean and you couldn’t ask for a better location. 10/10 and will definitely be back!

Fine Fellows Creamery

This cute little shop has the best ice cream, well worth the 5 minute stroll from Washington Mall. They had creative flavors, which is always fun, but the best was multiple vegan options! Thank you for going beyond vanilla and having delicious dairy free vegan flavors like mint chip and caramel fudge ? ? ?

Cold Spring Grange Restaurant

Me and the wife was at the village, so we decided to eat here on the way out, we were greeted nicely, told that it was a buffet, we were not disappointed, the service was impeccable, the food was off the charts!!! place was clean, the staff very attentive to us, and the price for what you get is unbelievable for the shore, will definitely be back

Cape May Winery

Came for the very reasonable wine tasting. Quickly fell in love with the rosé, the atmosphere, and the music. Ended up spending half of the day walking around and enjoying the beautiful scenery. I will absolutely be returning.

Quincy's Original Lobster Rolls

i loved quincy’s! i run a lobster roll instagram account @lobstagals and i review all sorts of rolls and this one was one of the best i’ve had, especially outside of new england.

Lobster rolls were delicious. Store is always busy and the prices are very reasonable considering places like in Boston charge around $29-36/roll. This place is a steal at around $20/roll. Portions are generous and food came out promptly. We wanted to grab some soups too but they didn’t have any in stock that day.

The Lobster House

Been coming here over the last 42+ years. Never had a complaint. Seafood is the freshest. I had my favorite, the Schooner dinner. Lobster, scallops, shrimp, clams, mussels all in one pot. The scallops were some of the best, tender & tasty. Tried one of my friends Oyster Rockefeller. Not a oyster lover but these I could eat again for sure.Homemade Key Lime pie for dessert!We all agreed it was one of our finer meals in a long time. Reason not 5 star for service was young host was not so friendly.

Coffee Tyme At The Beach

I visit Coffee Tyme every morning when I visit Cape May. Thier coffee selection is phenomenal whether you want a dark espressso or just a plain drip coffee. My favorite is the daily rotating flavors because I can't get these at home. They are unique all I do is add cream and splenda, not some sugar syrup. (see pic for flavors).They were very accommdating when we asked for a special request for our wedding this past June. One of our specialty drinks was an espresso martini and our venue did not have the ability to make fresh espresso. The manager put me in contact with the owner and I asked if it would be possible for them to brew 30oz of espresso the afternoon of the wedding. Not only was he happy to do so, he explained for me not to let it sit and get room temp, but to refrigerate it asap to have the best flavor. The bartenders used every drop!

Barefoot Bar & Grill

Great place to sit back, relax, have a bite to eat and some drinks. Bartenders and servers were helpful and friendly. Food was good as well as drinks and music. Also has a beautiful view. Could sit there all day.

Cold Spring Brewery

Great venue in an old historical barn. Outside seating is available. Dog friendly. Restrooms clean and well stocked. A lot of different styles of beer available. Bagged snacks on site. Brewer and staff were very friendly and attentive. Glasses, shirts and other swag available.

Uncle Charleys Ice Cream

I went here once during a family trip to cape may, it was our first time coming here. The cups were a little small if the ice cream were to melt, but overall the flavors were surprisingly superb. I chose S’mores and it had to be one of my favorite ice cream flavors from this place. I don’t think I’ll be able to find another s’mores flavored ice cream from anywhere else that tastes amazing, the ice cream literally tasted like an actual s’more and I loved it. If I were to have enough time for a 3 hour drive to Cape May, I’ll definitely come back here!I loved the little Cartman plushie that was displayed on the back of the shelf!

Fins Bar & Grille

Everything was good with no complaints. Our waiter was really good and honest. My wife had tuna tartare, everything cauliflower. I had calamari and crispy fish tacos. Kids had a burger buffalo shrimp and buffalo chicken flatbread.

Avalon Coffee of Cape May

What a great quick breakfast place! Great location! Kind and friendly and delish!! They are so accommodating, too. We had a little poodle with my family and the worker offered him a treat. He is a picky little dog and turned it down. She was determined to give him a treat so she whipped out 2 more options for our poodle to try. Even though he snubbed all 3 treats, it was so generous of her! What a good laugh.Then, even better, I brought my own Gluten Free bagel to see if I can get an Bacon Egg and Cheese on the side to put on my bagel myself. The owner (I think) offered to take my bagel for me and prepared me a delicious Bacon Egg and Cheese on my own GF bagel! (They do offer gluten free bread but I really wanted a bagel sandwich) I don't have cross contamination issues so this was perfect for me. It made me so happy! Thank you and can't wait to go back when we visit Cape May again. Next time, I'm trying the Lox ;)

Tony's Pizzeria & Restaurant

Is there anything better than a good pizza? Yes, a great one! Simply put, the thin crust at Tony's is the best! We also had the cheese ravioli, which was to die for, delicious garlic bread, and the salad that came with it was so fresh and crunchy!We were in Cape May for the day, but this was our second visit. Did the same last year. We will be back again! Not sure we want to wait another year!

The Grille

The Grille at at Sunset Beach is a nice spot to grab some food while enjoying the nearby beach. The food is good for what it is and the service was great. We enjoyed grabbing a frozen treat after a hot day on the beach looking for Cape May Diamonds!

Harry's Ocean Bar & Grille

My family stopped by here on our way back from the walking mall. There was no line (we caught them at a good time), and the owner was so lovely! I got a blackberry & strawberry smoothie, and the strawberry & nutella crepe. They were both really great :)

Cione Gelato

So excited to find gelato in Cape May, and this place is fantastic! Much smoother and creamier than ice cream and lots of flavors. Big thumbs up to chocolate, pistachio, cantaloupe, strawberry, and mint chocolate chip! We’ll be back to try more!

Freda's Cafe

Been going to Cape May for 25 years. This is the first year. I’ve been to Freda’s on the recommendation of a friend, although it is on the side street and doesn’t get as much traffic as the main mall, the minute we walked in we were warmly greeted by our server, Eddie, and treated to an evening of elegant and Upscale delicious food. Because it’s BYOB, we were able to bring a delicious bottle of white wine to enjoy throughout the meal. We ordered shumai as a starter to share. Each one was tender filled with seafood and the accompaniments were delicious. Then we ordered their special crabcakes. These were not typical crabcakes loaded with breading for stuffing these crabcakes were filled to the brim with big white pieces of lump crab cake sweetened by a mango Sauce at the bottom served over mashed potatoes with asparagus. I feel like I found a gem in Cape May and an alternative to all the old standards. I would clean up the place and do a little marketing to make it a little bit more modern but otherwise I wouldn’t change a thing.

Kohr Brothers Frozen Custard

WOW this place is good. They sell a rich soft serve custard in cones or bowls. I had peanut butter, coffee, and orange sherbet all at different times during our trip to Cape May.

Mike's Bayshore Cafe

Placed order in advance it was ready when I got there. The prime rib steak sandwich is huge I got a second sandwich out of it. Very flavorful and so reasonable. Behr Brewing

This place is pretty new, only a couple years old but their beers are very good. I tried a sampler flight and enjoyed every single one. Definitely worth a stop in if you are in the area.Only reason for 4 stars is because they don't offer any bottles or cans for purchase. Only growlers. I'm a casual drinker so I don't like having to open a growler and then drink it right away.There is no bar food for purchase either. I saw a small selection of chips and crackers for purchase, but no hot food of any kind

Westside Market

Absolutely a fantastic Place to grab some food before setting out for a day exploring Cape May. The subs at Westside Market were loaded with fresh ingredients and the bread was the best! I wish my local sub shops had bread this good. The service was fantastic and very friendly and the orders were made quickly. We loved the store and stopped in here for sandwiches to take to the beach several days during our visit.

Oceanview Restaurant

Out of town on a day trip with family. Never know what to expect with little places right off the beach. Was expecting small portions and expensive. Extremely reasonably priced and plenty of food for the money! Would recommend

Taco Caballito Tequileria

I had a great experience here and the food was great. I had the smoke chipotle brisket tacos modified a bit to accommodate my allergies, which the waiter and manger did a great job of reassuring me, that no cross contamination and allergens would be present.

McGlade's On The Pier

First time having breakfast at McGlades. Wonderful! Delicious omelettes, great French toast, perfect breakfast sandwich. Don't be put off by the $3.50 cost for coffee...it is a bottomless cup! Well done, as always.

Tommy's Folly

Very cute little coffee shop. The serve La Colombe. I got a small caramel iced latte with almond milk. There is an adorable courtyard you can sit down and enjoy your coffee or breakfast. We would recommend and return.

C-View Inn

This is a "locals" spot. Great food for a great price. Wonderful wait staff and the nachos are super! If you're on vacation and want to know where the locals hang out. This is the place.

Bagel Time Cafe

Delicious everything!!! Egg sandwich in a wrap way big enough to share. Don’t forget sandwiches for lunch - OMG way over the top!! More turkey than should allowed, definitely a share! Persons and service working there friendly, fast, accommodating!! What else can I say, you have to go there!!!!

Magic Brain Cafe

cute little shop to get quality coffee. stopped here on vacation and had an iced coffee with oat milk and butter pecan syrup. wide selection of syrup flavors and they have specialty milks. prices were amazing for the quality too. if i didn’t live so far away i would definitely stop by again.

Playa Bowls

Can’t come to Cape May without going to Playa Bowls. The fresh, delicious playa bowls are a refreshing healthy way to start the day. They hit the spot every time and keep me coming back to try more varieties on the menu.

Rainbow Ice Cream Parlor

Holiday weekend and every place we went to had a 2 hour plus wait. There was 7 of us with children so we couldn't wait that long. Ready to give up and do fast food when we saw Roman's. There was parking spaces in there lot so we thought we would give it a try. We where seated. They where bustling and looked like they had lots of take out orders. We got our drinks and apps pretty fast - loaded fries where yummy, calamari could have been deep fried more for our liking but wasn't bad, kids mac and cheese was so gooey. So cheesey and they loved it - homemade goodness, personal sized pizza's was a hit. They have gluten free crust which I was pleasantly surprised by - by pizza was delicious as was everyone elses. Definitely we will be back again. Also byob! Another plus!!

First time in Cape May. Had one of the best donuts I have ever had at this bakery. Lovely staff worked efficiently to get through the line. Would definitely return.

Mario's Pizza And Italian Eatery

The pizza was great as always. We have it every time we are here. Was a little surprised by the 5 percent fee for take out. Probably won't be back. Seems like a money grab to me. Have no idea what it is for.

I'm glad to see the local small business thriving! Great variety of good, healthy food, not just beach snacks. The prices are stingy but I understand it's hard to make ends meet as a business in this economy.The convenience is unbeatable!

Madison's Bakery

Stopped by on a whim as we were walking for a coffee and a donut. I tried the chocolate sprinkle donut. Customer service was nice and quick! Coffee was decent and the donut was perfectly fluffy! We spent $5 so everything was reasonably priced as well!

Italiano's Pizza

Don't be fooled by the pizzas on display. Make your choice. You will not be disappointed when the reheat is handed to you. Dough is delicious. Bottom crust is perfectly crisp. Pepperoni is plentiful and covers the entire pie. White (bianca) is full of flavor.

Cappy's Seaside Pizza & Steaks

This is our preferred Local "Pizza Parlor" as we say in South Jersey. Quality Pizzas with a wide variety of Toppings, tasty Appetizers and some of the best Salads you can get in a Pizzaria... but they keep where they buy their Lettuce a secret! The friendly Staff know like Family since we get Take-out there so regularly.

Jojo Pizza

While at JoJo Pizzeria in Cape May, I came across their impressive pizza I would give a 4.9 rating. Not only was I pleased with the pizza's lack of excessive greasiness and its delightful flavor that had me returning for a second slice, but I also took note of the generous act of the gentleman behind the counter who bought lunch for the Coast Guard. This thoughtful gesture adds another layer to the positive experience, making JoJo Pizzeria a definite must-visit spot.

cute little shop to get quality coffee. stopped here on vacation and had an iced coffee with oat milk and butter pecan syrup. wide selection of syrup flavors and they have specialty milks. prices were amazing for the quality too. if i didn’t live so far away i would definitely stop by again.

I live in Brooklyn and have the best coffee at one's disposal so one must compete. At Out There Coffee they exceed my expectation while it is always my favorite time in Cape May. Just overall top coffee for a reasonable price and upbeat vibe always. Thank you.

Coffee Tyme At The Beach

I visit Coffee Tyme every morning when I visit Cape May. Thier coffee selection is phenomenal whether you want a dark espressso or just a plain drip coffee. My favorite is the daily rotating flavors because I can't get these at home. They are unique all I do is add cream and splenda, not some sugar syrup. (see pic for flavors).They were very accommdating when we asked for a special request for our wedding this past June. One of our specialty drinks was an espresso martini and our venue did not have the ability to make fresh espresso. The manager put me in contact with the owner and I asked if it would be possible for them to brew 30oz of espresso the afternoon of the wedding. Not only was he happy to do so, he explained for me not to let it sit and get room temp, but to refrigerate it asap to have the best flavor. The bartenders used every drop!

Coffee Tyme At The Mall

They definitely make the best frozen coffees I've ever had. I ordered the frozen cappuccino with an extra shot of espresso it was delicious. Went back every morning and got the same thing.Vegetarian options: They had something for everyone.

Avalon Coffee of Cape May

What a great quick breakfast place! Great location! Kind and friendly and delish!! They are so accommodating, too. We had a little poodle with my family and the worker offered him a treat. He is a picky little dog and turned it down. She was determined to give him a treat so she whipped out 2 more options for our poodle to try. Even though he snubbed all 3 treats, it was so generous of her! What a good laugh.Then, even better, I brought my own Gluten Free bagel to see if I can get an Bacon Egg and Cheese on the side to put on my bagel myself. The owner (I think) offered to take my bagel for me and prepared me a delicious Bacon Egg and Cheese on my own GF bagel! (They do offer gluten free bread but I really wanted a bagel sandwich) I don't have cross contamination issues so this was perfect for me. It made me so happy! Thank you and can't wait to go back when we visit Cape May again. Next time, I'm trying the Lox ;)

Oceanview Restaurant

Out of town on a day trip with family. Never know what to expect with little places right off the beach. Was expecting small portions and expensive. Extremely reasonably priced and plenty of food for the money! Would recommend

Dock Mike's Pancake House Inc

We went here for breakfast and the food was great. The problem here is that they charge you for refills, and you have to ask for water. I love sitting out on the deck, and the server was great. With coffee and tea being so cheap to make and then charging for a second cup is just wrong in my book.
