“We went here for the first time on a Friday night in March. The restaurant was practically empty with only 5-6 other tables at 7pm which made us a little worrisome. I started with the octopus appetizer that I figured would be good at a Greek themed restaurant. It was good but could have had some charring. It was pricey for the small piece. My wife had the grilled artichokes which were really good. Both served with the classic Greek styled lemon sauce. For the entrees my wife ordered the Crab Gnocchi which was delicious and a nice size portion. The gnocchi were very light. I ordered the lamb chops which were five perfectly grilled chops with a nice char and medium well. This came with roasted potatoes and asparagus. The only thing it was lacking was some kind of sauce. It didn't really need it but it would have been a nice addition. For desert we had the baklava and the limoncello sorbet. Both were very good. Service was good. We will be back to try some of the other interesting items on the menu.”
“Another great meal and wonderful service. We were fortunate to catch the last week of the $35 fixed price menu, however we will be back soon. Looking forward to checking out the sunset deck area in late Spring.”
“Went to Dogtooth this week, and see the happy hour is no longer lunchtime. Doesn’t affect us too much as we’re late eaters and still will keep coming. But I think most people now at lunch time will move to other happy hour places such as Owens, Angle sea, Waterfront , Ship to Shore. Irene’s, where’s beers are $1.50 and $2.00 . Just my opinion as one of the locals….”
“The seafood selection was amazing and such an upgrade from the typical options at this boardwalk town. We visited towards the end of the season and their wine supply was very limited, we should have brought our own bottle.”
“This is a HIDDEN GEM in Cape May County. We have found no better Indian restaurant and, in fact, rate Curry Inne among the better Philadelphia area restaurants we have dined at over the last 20 years. We visited March, 2024 for the first time and are glad we did. The menu is not yet at full service (such as some Tandori items are not available) but there is still plenty to choose from. More importantly, the offerings are REAL Indian food choices - you won't find paneer tacos or other Americanized offerings. The Mulligatawny soup was delicious as were the two vegetable based entrees we tried. The rice was delicious on its own. A flat bread cracker and array of 3 sauces was provided free while waiting for our entrees. We will definitely visit this restaurant again - particularly off season while Wildwood remains manageable - and recommend you do so as well. Our bill for 2 appetizers, 2 vegetable entrees, naan and roti was $70 - a true bargain especially in light of the quality preparations we were given. It is so nice to not have to drive 90 miles to enjoy good Indian cuisine.”
“Myself and two friends had a similar experience. Excellent dinner from arrival to leaving. Felt like we were treated like family the good side. Generally I eat alone but always treated very well. QParking: Obviously off season everything is a bit different but seems to be neighborhood parking for overflow”
“Very clean, food selection is awesome, staff is excellent. The staff is extremely courteous and very customer oriented. We will definitely eat here on our next stay in Wildwood.”
“Went here during covid and is about the only reason I would return to Jersey! The chef was great, came out and greeted us to check and see how food was. Best gnocchi and infused olive oil and bread EVAH!”
“My family and I had a great experience, the service and food was great, the wings were absolutely delicious ? nice atmosphere, very clean place. Will visit again ??Parking: We did not have trouble with parking. We were staying at a hotel for the weekend.Kid-friendliness: I saw other families with their kids. It was very nice to see that.”
“Long time customer. Love the service, food, atmosphere, BYOB, large portions, delicious bread!Favorites include Prime Rib, Fried Seafood Combo, Shrimp Fra Diavolo, Shrimp/ Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Marsala, Fried Flounder, Fried Calamari.Parking is a challenge in season.”
“Stopped in here for the Summer Mummers after party. We've stopped in a couple of times before over the past few months since they've opened, but never stayed. The (basic bar) food was good. Joanna (the hostess) and Susan, our server, were both lovely and kind. They had no bitters = no old fashioneds.”
“Pure bliss. Every bite is a crabby perfection. Eating the fries make you transcend to another level of being. There is not a single place on the boardwalk—nay Earth—that I would rather go to more than Chickie & Pete’s.Vegetarian options: Not much Vegan OptionsKid-friendliness: Fries and other kid friendly foodParking: On the boardwalkWheelchair accessibility: You can go to it on the boardwalkDietary restrictions: Food for some dietary restrictions”
“This place has a huge menu with alot of selections to choose from. They dont accept credit cards which alot of people dont carry cash on them. The place is outdated with the decor inside but as long as the food is good then i dont really mind. The food i got was tasty!”
“Did a family style dinner on 2.29.2024. It was a great time, food was delicious and the portions were very generous! The staff was friendly and accommodating too. They don't have a full bar of their own but, otherwise I'd have given them a 5 star review. However BYOB is just fine and they are able to order beer and mixed drinks from the bar next door without any issues. Recommend!”
“Cool bar on second floor with live music weekly. They are open year round and it gets crowded in the summer time. Its on pacific ave and easy to get there from the boardwalk. They have big selection of beer to purchase and lots of food to order when hungry!”
“The rooms are upgraded, bed was comfy, mini fridge, and coffeemaker (with the flat pods). My only complaint would be a 10am check out which they should inform you when checking in. Bar downstairs is opened until 3am. Room nights were pricey but location was perfect. Front desk staff were very pleasant.”
“Last night we got the family bucket of fries for our trip back to the hotel and I can honestly say the fries were very good and stayed crunchy for awhile. They didn't get all soggy like most of the other places. I'd recommend them.”
“Standard American bar food fare but really well executed. Turkey burger is a standout (served on a soft brioche bun), as were the hush puppies and chicken fingers which were perfectly fried outside and tender (and not dry) inside. Fries were crispy and well seasoned. Sauces were nicely matched.”
“The staff was very friendly and chilled. Only had time for a quick drink but the food looked awesome coming out of the kitchen. Will definitely order something to eat next time I am there. The price of the beer was very affordable. Looking forward to next visit.”
“Me and my family love Alfes . Great food, and everyone is so friendly. Any off the fish blackened Jackie style is a must, and the shrimp scampi appetizers is frigen awesome!!”
“The best seafood that I have had in years . I practically drove by this place all season b/c of the crowd outside . So grateful to meet Joe Bada and staff . Now I have my forever go to seafood spot.”
“We went for a beef and beef benefit, what a great time we had, the music, the food, and the staff was so friendly and the bar tenders on the upstairs were phenomenal!! We are talking about going there for next New Year's with our group of friends.”
“I didn't go in, my husband did. But the slices are BIG and delicious. Especially the crust! Chef's kiss! Mwah! Edited to add that it is a breeze to order online and if you have a problem, you call Slice, they deal with the issue, if at all possible. No calling a busy restaurant, with people yelling in the background. Made changing pickup to delivery very easy. When the season here starts buzzing, that is a great feature!”
“This was a special on Friday Aug 25th 2023. There was so many different types of seafood the waitress did you know some of the. Our waitress was awesome. I love coming home for vacation.”
“Good place to grab pizza and a quick bite while on the boardwalk ! We stopped by quickly as a family of four with two little toddler boys ! We were quickly greeted and they even gave my little boys a free drink . Pizza was delicious !”
“My bf had a bacon cheeseburger with Mac and cheese and I had a Mac and cheese with pork skillet and both were so good! I’m definitely coming back the next time I’m in town. P.S. drinks are worth it!”
“Out of town with my girlfriend and we went here for lunch. The food was delicious, drinks were great and the environment was beautiful. I was not too busy, reasonably priced options.”
“The staff, as usual did an outstanding job. The service, food, and atmosphere are fantastic. We absolutely love the live music on the weekends. The servers and management are always accommodating, pleasant and welcoming. The managers are terrific and their staff are equally as great. We always enjoy our meals and has become our favorite place to eat in Wildwood.”
