“When I am at the shore and I think seafood, I think Back Bay Seafood. Honestly, best crab cakes I ever had. And let’s not forget the broiled scallops, and stuffed shrimp, and the list goes on! Amazing food, high quality, and excellent customer service. Not to mention, family-owned business that appreciates their customers and are dedicated to providing quality meals, the kind you eat with your friends and family and make those down-the-shore memories. “Chanterelle BYOB. is definitely a up and coming fine dining experience. if you have followed Chef Jeremy Palumbo from PSI to Swine Bar to Provence and now to Chanterelle. you know that his culinary excellence will leave the colors plated to perfection on your plate and the taste of his culinary excellence exploding on your palet. the restaurant Is beautifully decorated with a calm and soothing atmosphere. the staff was excellent at their jobs and showed pride in their work . I would highly recommend this new establishment on 96th St in Stone Harbor. I have to give it 5 stars .”

“We had the most amazing experience here tonight. The quick story is the soft serve dipped in chocolate was delicious. The longer version is our daughter has Celiac’s Disease and when we asked if they could do hers gluten free, Annalise was amazing and took it very seriously. She was actually training a new employee and used the opportunity to go through the process step by step with him. She honestly reminded me of the people they discover on the show Undercover Boss. It was obvious not only how much she cared about ensuring our daughter had a safe experience, but also to properly train her employee, and overall just the pride she had in her work. She was amazing and we will definitely return.”

They are extremely friendly, have a sincere love for all animals and are the kindest people you will ever meet ! My PepperGirl enjoys roaming around the store, getting extra love and attention. Our favorite pet treats are the Peanut Butter cannoli’s and of course their doggie ice cream ! If you haven’t visited Salty Paws in Stone Harbor, you must ! “Call ahead and order the Key Lime Pie, it is insanely delicious. We always fly in from California to visit my in-laws in Avalon and celebrate my husband’s birthday. Poor guy hasn’t had a good birthday cake in almost 10 years so I decided to call on our way from the airport to order his birthday pie.

This key lime pie has the best graham cracker crust with the perfect texture, the filling is just the right amount of creamy lime deliciousness, not too sweet and not too sour. Topped with fresh whipped cream that perfectly balances out the sweetness of the pie. We loved it so much that I ordered a strawberry & blueberry pie to try before we fly home. Pretty sure this is going to be our new tradition when we come visit now :)”

“Hi! We love this place but I wanted to make a suggestion. We noticed when we get iced lattes the way in which they make them leave you with watering drinks. They use too much milk and dump the warm espresso on the small amount of ice causing your drink to be very bland. I got an extra shot of espresso in a medium (3 total shots in a 12ounce cup) which should be plenty. After walking one block to my car, neither iced drinks had a single remaining piece of ice. Again, you guys were crazy busy and not a big deal… we’ll be back. But please don’t serve iced drinks with no ice :-)”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We’re locals and chose Sax at the Reeds to celebrate our anniversary on a Tuesday night in September. Since many of the local steakhouses were closed, we decided to give Sax a try — and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. Our server, Patrick, was absolutely outstanding. He was attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and even made something as simple as choosing a steak knife a fun and memorable experience. He explained where the knives came from, what they were made of, and offered his favorite — such a unique touch! The food was just as impressive. I went with a mix of apps and a salad — the shrimp cocktail (huge shrimp!), perfectly seared local scallops (I was expecting three and got closer to eight!), and the truffle cheese burrata salad, which was loaded with heirloom tomatoes, arugula, basil, balsamic reduction, sea salt, and basil oil. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband had the New York Strip with truffle fries and grilled asparagus — a perfectly cooked, hearty steak that left him very satisfied. We left completely full and so happy with our experience. Sax exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors looking for a special dinner spot!”
