“WoW WoW WoW ! Today was my first time dining here and it certainly won’t be my last. Everything was incredible. Shrimp tempura for a starter and it was outstanding. The salmon dish was out of this world and like no other salmon entrée I have ever had. You will not be disappointed and the service was top notch! Well Done jays on third”

“Chanterelle BYOB. is definitely a up and coming fine dining experience. if you have followed Chef Jeremy Palumbo from PSI to Swine Bar to Provence and now to Chanterelle. you know that his culinary excellence will leave the colors plated to perfection on your plate and the taste of his culinary excellence exploding on your palet. the restaurant Is beautifully decorated with a calm and soothing atmosphere. the staff was excellent at their jobs and showed pride in their work . I would highly recommend this new establishment on 96th St in Stone Harbor. I have to give it 5 stars .”

Amazing food, high quality, and excellent customer service. Not to mention, family-owned business that appreciates their customers and are dedicated to providing quality meals, the kind you eat with your friends and family and make those down-the-shore memories. The longer version is our daughter has Celiac’s Disease and when we asked if they could do hers gluten free, Annalise was amazing and took it very seriously. She was actually training a new employee and used the opportunity to go through the process step by step with him. She honestly reminded me of the people they discover on the show Undercover Boss. It was obvious not only how much she cared about ensuring our daughter had a safe experience, but also to properly train her employee, and overall just the pride she had in her work. They are extremely friendly, have a sincere love for all animals and are the kindest people you will ever meet ! My PepperGirl enjoys roaming around the store, getting extra love and attention. “The Water Star Grille is the outdoor restaurant on the bay at the Reeds in stone Harbor. The food is expensive, but that comes with the territory. Our server was very pleasant and the quality of all the food we ordered was great. I was disappointed that you only get 6 oyster half shells for $28.....but I should have asked about quantity before ordering. I am pretty sure that I have never only received 6 oysters when ordering an iced tray of oysters before. The reason to go here for dinner is the view of the sunset over the bay for dinner outside on a beautiful summer day.”

“Call ahead and order the Key Lime Pie, it is insanely delicious. We always fly in from California to visit my in-laws in Avalon and celebrate my husband’s birthday. Poor guy hasn’t had a good birthday cake in almost 10 years so I decided to call on our way from the airport to order his birthday pie.

This key lime pie has the best graham cracker crust with the perfect texture, the filling is just the right amount of creamy lime deliciousness, not too sweet and not too sour. Topped with fresh whipped cream that perfectly balances out the sweetness of the pie. We loved it so much that I ordered a strawberry & blueberry pie to try before we fly home. Pretty sure this is going to be our new tradition when we come visit now :)”

Since many of the local steakhouses were closed, we decided to give Sax a try — and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. Our server, Patrick, was absolutely outstanding. He was attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and even made something as simple as choosing a steak knife a fun and memorable experience. He explained where the knives came from, what they were made of, and offered his favorite — such a unique touch! The food was just as impressive. I went with a mix of apps and a salad — the shrimp cocktail (huge shrimp!), perfectly seared local scallops (I was expecting three and got closer to eight!), and the truffle cheese burrata salad, which was loaded with heirloom tomatoes, arugula, basil, balsamic reduction, sea salt, and basil oil. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband had the New York Strip with truffle fries and grilled asparagus — a perfectly cooked, hearty steak that left him very satisfied. We left completely full and so happy with our experience. Sax exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors looking for a special dinner spot!”

One of the highlights of our visit was the cocktail program. We sampled the cocktail flight and had the opportunity to try several of their signature drinks. The Watermelon Mojito was especially refreshing and perfect for a warm summer afternoon overlooking the basin. The drinks were fresh, balanced, and beautifully presented.

Of course, pizza is the star of the show. The specialty pizza we ordered arrived loaded with toppings, baked with a crisp crust, quality ingredients, and plenty of flavor. Every bite tasted fresh, and it’s easy to see why this has become a popular destination for both locals and visitors.

Another feature worth mentioning is The Crew Room, a separate event space upstairs that offers its own unique atmosphere. The nautical décor, dedicated bar, and waterfront-inspired design create a private-club feel that would be perfect for parties, celebrations, private events, and group gatherings.

What really stands out about The Pizza Pub is the overall experience. You’re not simply grabbing a slice of pizza.
