We ordered takeout from here and it was delicious! We ordered the crabcakes, muscles, as well as clams. Everything was extremely delicious the sauce for the mussels and clams was to die for. I wish we had extra bread so that I could have chunks more in the clam sauce. We called in for a large take-out order and the restaurant even called back and we're talking to us about if they can do it family style or other things like that to cater to the party better. We've been ordering from Back Bay for years and it never disappoints! Usually just get the crab cakes but yesterday we had the clams, shrimp risotto balls and clam chowder special. Delicious! The salad are also fresh and big. A rare occurrence in town. 5 stars for Back Bay!!!

Back bay crab cakes are a must have when we come to the shore. Doesn't get any better! We like to just order the crab cakes individually. Some of the meals are not the best value. The mussels are great too!
